Ah thanks everyone 🥰 I feel absolutely fine, and it does feel different to last time - it's still only 9dpt whereas the first round, I didn't even get a faint positive until 10dpt and then started bleeding at 11dpt. I think when I get to OTD (Sunday) and call the clinic on Monday, and if there's been no sign of anything wrong then, it will feel more legit, you know?

The tough thing is that because we're moving so far away in 2 weeks, there won't be time for a viability scan here. And DW doesn't want to pay for a private one. We are completely skint to be fair but I would really really like the early reassurance.

@RunningOnHope Could you arrange one through your new local EPU? If you tell them it's IVF and you've had a loss before they should give you an early scan.

@TheBirdintheCave that's a really good idea, thanks. I will be 6 weeks when we move so will need to get organised sharpish anyway, to make sure I keep supplied with the drugs!

I've started another cycle, but on a much higher dose of medication.

• 12mg of Progynova (3 lots of 2 pills a day)
• 2 Everol patches every 3 days

I bought a couple of rolls of tattoo film to waterproof the patches.

If this cycle gets cancelled, too, then I'm going back to natural tries until some point next year. Almost two years at this now. Anyone who puts themselves through this deserves a medal.

@Copenhagener So sorry to hear you’ve been having such a hard time, it really does all come at once doesn’t it. Hope that you have lots of support around you to help deal with everything, and please do vent here if you feel like it xxx

@SarahShorty Very best of luck to you for this cycle - what’s the plan? I’m not familiar with the meds you are taking, are they long protocol ones?

We just had a very early day 6 follicle scan for our round 2.5 - looks hopeful at the moment! My amh has got up quite a bit too somehow so not all doom and gloom for once, makes a nice change 😅. I had a few follicles visible on either side so hopefully might make it to dreaded egg collection next week 😬xx

@Triselly thank you xx This is just additional help for my lining in preparation for transfer. I was just on 8mg of Progynova a day before, but my body appears to have gone into a bit of a funk, because seemingly no matter how much estrogen it takes now, the lining refuses to thicken.

Bad news for me today - looks like a chemical. No bleeding or anything. Just 'not pregnant'. OTD is tomorrow.

Going out for the line type now - but I can't see that there would be any mistake. It's 3 days since the positive digital, easily enough time for the hcg to be much higher if it was there.

@SarahShorty I was on the same tablets but more patches xx I never found they came off. Alternating bum cheeks and get the residue off with baby oil xx

if you open up the digital tests you can take the strips out and compare the lines on those to see what the difference was between the two xx

Thanks all. Confirmed with another test and right on cue, spotting has started.

I think I'm still glad we knew it implanted - not testing early wouldn't have changed the outcome. But now I know I've had one one early miscarriage, one failure to implant, and one chemical.

Will sign out for a bit, we have no more embryos, no money and no plan. But looking forward to checking back in on your upcoming cycles, good luck @SarahShorty and @Triselly and others who are preparing to start xx

Sorry I've been AWOL. I have a transfer date, it's the 18th of October. My OTD is the day before Halloween 👻 My lining was perfect today. My nurse was so happy! ☺️ My manager was a bit of a ponce because we're a bit low on staff and he tried to get me to rearrange it 🙄 I was a bit arsey after having had a cycle cancelled, so I put my foot right down hard and he backed off. So work is a bit frosty to say the least, but it is what it is. My work has no provisions for things like IVF and considering he helped arrange a collection pot for a colleague's maternity gift, it was another slap in the face to me. But meh, whatever.

@CR7 thank you for the baby oil idea 🙂 I've found the patches come off really nicely after the three days have run their course, also with no residue. I think it probably depends on skin type? I don't know. How are you doing?

I just had egg collection this morning - 9 eggs this time. It was soo much better than the first time, I was absolutely bricking it but it was much easier and less painful this time! So very relieved now. Waiting for a call tomorrow morning to see how fertilisation goes.

I'm ok. Nearly 10 weeks now. Next scan is a private one on Saturday which I'm scared about.
