Good luck to those who are waiting/in the middle of cycle fun, so sorry to hear that @SarahShorty the waiting and uncertainty is just unbearable.

Bad news for me today at our first scan during our second cycle on day 8 of stims, there were just no follicles developed at all. So they cancelled the whole cycle. All the meds, injections, worry, planning… all for nothing.

I had a hunch things weren’t quite right as I hadn’t had any of the side effects from the first cycle but this was really rubbish. At least we don’t have to wait too long and can try again from the beginning from my next AF. I was really sick a month ago so that might have messed up follicle development, or it might be a weird side effect from losing a fallopian tube from my ectopic?

Who knows. It’s like a really shit lucky dip.

Ah @Triselly that's absolutely pants. I'm so sorry. Silver linings as you say better to know at this stage. But it must feel so frustrating.

And sorry you've had a bit of added stress too @SarahShorty - what day of your cycle was that? Mine don't do another scan again for ages so mine is day 15 - next Tuesday - and then arrange transfer from there.

OTD should be a week or so before we move house, so at least we should know where we are before the big move...! Feels crazy. But I so hope it works out.

Hi ladies xx I had my 4th tracking scan for this FET cycle today and my lining is not thickening as it's supposed to, so they've put me on Evorel patches for extra oestrogen. In addition to that, they said they could see my endometrium spasming a bit? Very strange.

I have another tracking scan this Friday and if the lining doesn't look good enough, this cycle will be cancelled. Since I've not started progesterone yet, I've got the option to start back up immediately in October, or if I so choose, I can abandon the cycle and have another go next year. Not what I wanted to hear of course, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I hope you're all doing alright xx

@SarahShorty Oh gosh I hope the patches do the trick. Will you go for October otherwise? ❤️

I was on three everol patches every other day xx make sure you use baby oil to get the residue off and “swap cheeks” each time you change them

I'm set for transfer on Tuesday, reading a bit more about the chances of success with a double transfer and bit surprised to see that there's actually not much more chance overall. But both of ours are the same quality (which seems to be a crucial factor, as putting a good one in with a bad one can mean they're both rejected), and since we're moving away from the clinic in a few weeks, I think we'd still rather go for it even with only a slightly improved chance of success.

@CR7 thanks for asking. In many ways, in the middle of one of the most stressful periods of my life, I think, with so many huge things going on. But feeling held by the prayers of friends and family, and DW and I are finding our rhythm in handing it all, so not overwhelmed.

I almost can't bear the hope that it works this time. We have no money to try again if it doesn't, I don't know what we'll do next. DD was talking about how she grew in her mama's tummy and said "I hope one day someone will grow in mummy's" and it almost broke me. I hope so too, kid.

I'm due to start my first ivf cycle.
I'm almost 38. I have pcos and he has low morphology.
I'm a bag of nerves at the moment.
I'm starting on 150iu bemfola for 5 days

@RunningOnHope You just never get a break from it all at the moment do you, there’s always so much to worry about! Got everything crossed for you on Tuesday, please let us know how it goes if you can. Are you still moving as well at the same time?

I agree about having a supportive partner - someone on a podcast was talking about how much stronger it makes your relationship going through this stuff. The little things just cease to bother me xx

@SarahShorty Hope that you’re doing alright with the patches, if you do end up delaying until next month at least I can be an October cycle buddy with you! But of course hopefully everything works out this month ❤️

@MoonlightDreamer Hello 😊 I’m the same age as you, just waiting to start our 2nd or 3rd (!?) round. I had Bemfola the first time and it worked really well for me, just the bloating was so annoying towards the end of the stim cycle! How are you doing?

@Triselly I'm ok. The nausea's ramped up over the past few days which is promising. I'm 6 weeks today and that's when the spotting with the miscarriages started. I'm on a high dose of progesterone this time though so I hope it doesn't happen again.

Due date is 16th of May so basically ten thousand years away 😂

@CR7 @Triselly thank you 🙏 yes moving house in a month, start new job 2 weeks later, and DD is being diagnosed with chronic illness so we're in and out of hospital with her.

@TheBirdintheCave it feels like your dates are going so slowly, i thought you'd be like 8 weeks by now!! Does it feel slow to you? Great news about the nausea though, sort of...!

@RunningOnHope Yeah it feels like forever! I think it's because we found out at 3+3 though so almost three weeks ago. Downsides of testing so early, I guess! I wish I was eight weeks 😅 Our scan is just under a week away now.

@RunningOnHope goodness! So much going on for you. Hope all is okay with DD.

@TheBirdintheCave everyone always says about the TWW… But that horrific wait for the first scan is 10x worse. So excited for you!

Thanks @WholeZebra, poor kid had a zillion blood tests yesterday. Lucky for her she has good veins!

I've just realised that Bake Off starts on Tuesday, so perfect way for me to come home after transfer and put my feet up. Feels just right for embryos snuggling in for the winter!
