Hi everyone, thought I'd try making us a second thread now the old one is done -

Tagging @Triselly @lemons44 @CR7 @Flowerlover010 @pongom @WholeZebra @TheBirdintheCave @SarahShorty - will go back to the thread and see if there's anyone else to add in, but do tag those I've missed!

@RunningOnHope Is the embaby on board now? :D

RunningOnHope · 13/07/2023 14:53

"That is an astonishingly full bladder" - they kept saying 😂

Yes, a lovely little 3BB embryo on board, right where they wanted it to be. Love this feeling, knowing it's all tucked up and safe in there for now!

@RunningOnHope amazing news! Well done! xx

TheBirdintheCave · 13/07/2023 15:01

@RunningOnHope Wahoo! Excellent job :D

WholeZebra · 13/07/2023 15:31

@RunningOnHope amazing! Good work ☺️. Sticky thoughts!

KG96 · 13/07/2023 15:55

Just got back from my scan, all looks good at the moment and baby is measuring 7weeks 1 day which is what I am, so right on track. They are doing another scan in 2 weeks time because we lost the last one so they want to make sure everything stays on track before 12 weeks. But for now all is good 😊

KG96 · 13/07/2023 16:06

@RunningOnHope congrats on your transfer, I have everything crossed for you! Sending sticky thoughts! Xx

RunningOnHope · 13/07/2023 16:15

That's brilliant news @KG96, how are you feeling now?

WholeZebra · 13/07/2023 16:18

@KG96 More good news in the forum! How exciting that you’ll get to see your little baby again.

KG96 · 13/07/2023 16:19

@RunningOnHope slightly better, I was so nervous before I went in that the lady thought I was feeling faint 🤣 I was like no I’m just really apprehensive. Last time I lost it around this sort of time (we’re not sure exactly when) so technically we are further along than we were last time which makes me feel better to know that it’s all progressing as it should. I think I’ll feel better when we get to 12 weeks but if alls ok at 9 weeks I will definitely be feeling more positive

KG96 · 13/07/2023 16:38

@WholeZebra yes it’s nice to be able to see it more than you would normally and see it growing. Just hoping all continues in the right direction 🤞🏻 I’ll still be just as nervous in 2 weeks time hoping it’s still there and still thriving! X

CR7 · 13/07/2023 16:49

@RunningOnHope so so proud of you. Now relax. Feet up. delicious healthy food. Plenty of sleep and water. I found some good meditation podcasts to do. No testing xx

WholeZebra · 13/07/2023 16:49

@KG96 it’s so hard to let yourself get excited when you’ve got history of loss, but try and have a little relax! Bet it was lovely seeing them on the screen!

TheBirdintheCave · 13/07/2023 17:45

@charja100 What time is your transfer tomorrow? I have to wait until 4.20 🙄

TheBirdintheCave · 13/07/2023 18:49

Oh! Also, does anyone know if I'm still supposed to use the Lutigest pessaries tomorrow? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can't imagine having a pessary up there would be useful.

SarahShorty · 13/07/2023 18:53

@TheBirdintheCave in my experience, yes. If there is anything left in there before the transfer, they'll clean it out beforehand. You absolutely have to take any pessaries prescribed until instructed otherwise.

CR7 · 13/07/2023 18:58

@TheBirdintheCave my transfer was at 10am so i did my usual 8am pessary at about 5am. Defo use the pessary as normal. Some people choose to do rectally on transfer day. I didn't x

TheBirdintheCave · 13/07/2023 19:05

@CR7 @SarahShorty

Thanks for the advice! :) I'm due one at 3pm so I might take it a few hours earlier instead as transfer is at four.

I got told I can't take Lutigest rectally unfortunately 😔

Other option is to use some of my leftover Cyclogest pessaries from the miscarriages as I can use those rectally.

CR7 · 13/07/2023 19:12

I tried rectally. Wasn't for me. Just do earlier than planned x

RunningOnHope · 13/07/2023 20:19

Yep, pessaries as normal. My dr told me to take them rectally for the next couple of days after transfer to avoid causing any irritation. Sure I didn't get told that last time. I have very grudgingly done so tonight and I guess I will do tomorrow, but I hate hate hate it so switching back asap!

@RunningOnHope congratulations on being PUPO! Everything g crossed for you for a sticky bean!

@TheBirdintheCave I'm at 2:15 tomorrow. With lutigest you'll need to just insert it early I guess.

@KG96 great news on scan!

I've done all my pessaries rectally under advice from clinic since I started my progesterone support. Mainly because of the early spotting and then chemical loss from the fresh. Had my progesterone blood test this morning. Really curious to know what my levels are. Nurse said they might call me in the morning before the transfer.

I'm equally nervous as I am excited now x

@everyone check out channel 4... celebrity save our sperm on channel 4 right now!

SarahShorty · 13/07/2023 23:39

Yep. Russell Kane is functionally infertile like my DH. It's shit.

charja100 · 14/07/2023 07:05

Same as my DH too @SarahShorty

I asked him to watch it with me last night and I do think he'll make even more changes than he already has after watching it.
