Cyclogest not absorbed rectally

Hi just looking for advice for IVFers -

I had an FET today and I'm on 2 x Cyclogest AM and PM. I always take them vaginally After the my doctor said to do the pessaries rectally for the next couple of days to avoid any risk of irritating the cervix. I don't think I was told that after my fresh transfer, but I don't mind doing it if it helps.

But tonight I did them both rectally, and then about an hour later went to the loo, and they came back out... one was mostly gone, but the other one was basically still whole, just without the wax on.

So, I'm thinking I should just take one more tonight vaginally? Is there a real risk doing that on transfer day? Would it be worse than not getting enough progesterone?

@RunningOnHope did you take 2 x pessaries tonight then?

Yep, I'm meant to do 2 am and 2 pm. So at least some of one has been absorbed but not as much as should have been.

So you've taken 4 pessaries today or 2 pessaries?

Four. I took an extra one vaginally before bed to replace the undissolved one, hoping that's all ok.

Sure there can't be any harm in the extra @RunningOnHope. I would probably have done the same for peace of mind xx

@RunningOnHope I was on three pessaries a day and lubion injections. You defo don't need to worry and you defo did the right thing x
