Next time ask for a progesterone blood test on transfer day. I had one last time having never had one before and mine was really low. They gave me extra drugs. I hadn't heard of having one done. Absolutely not saying this is why but defo worth a try if you've not had one xx

@CR7 Thank you xx I forgot to mention, every time I have a transfer, I have my progesterone levels checked on the same day, so that if I need more, I can go and pick it up. My levels came back fine both in the last transfer and in this one. So this is likely looking like another failure. We're still clinging onto some hope that it may just be a very slow grower as we're due a blood test tomorrow to confirm it.

Crying as I type this. I had another BFN this morning. I'm having a blood test today to confirm. They'll ring me tomorrow with the result and I'll book in a follow-up consultation with my consultant. They'll probably just keep me on aspirin for the next try. I've had prickling sensations in that area for the last 2-3 days similar to implantation, but this time it must just be that the lining is getting so heavy that it's ready to shed. I wonder if the remaining 3 embryos will work.

@SarahShorty I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel. I had two unsuccessful transfers before this one. We are all here for you and sending so much love xx

My suspicions have been confirmed. Negative. No pregnancy. It's as if the embryo they put in me didn't even implant, potentially even failed to hatch properly. With every failure, be it natural or IVF, I feel more and more like being a mother is for everyone else except me. Life sadly just carries on. If anyone wants to chat, I'll be around xx

@SarahShorty Thankee :) I still feel like a bit of a fraud in the IVF department to be honest as I'm still waiting for my first transfer 😅 Hopefully soon though. My AF is due to start this weekend so fingers crossed its only a few more weeks now.

I’m so sorry, @SarahShorty , it’s so unfair. I know how you feel, it seems like it’s so easy for everyone else and this completely impossible dream for me. And just when you feel like you may be getting somewhere, like it might be possible to hope, something rips the carpet out from under your feet and tells you not to be ridiculous, this isn’t for you.

It's hard to be positive but every time we try, our chance of succeeding is raised, just going by percentages alone. And the stories of other women like @CR7 who have had success after several attempts are very reassuring. It’s a rough journey but as long as we don’t give up before we have to, it’s not out of reach xx

You're not alone in those feelings. I feel them too. It's become this huge fear inside me that I try and squash down, but it's always there. I went into my first round feeling so positive and having no fears. I naively thought it would all be ok and it would work for us. But after our failed first round something shifted and that fear started, that voice of 'what if it just never works for us'.
I wish I could say something to help, but just know you're not alone. And you will get through this. You will pick yourself up and you will go again. And you will be ok. 💗
We are are all stronger than we realise and we just need to keep putting one foot in front of the other xx

Echoing @lemons44 and @Triselly - this journey is beyond fking hard. Hardest thing I've ever done.

Hi everyone, just checking in. I've just had my baseline scan for FET cycle - so I start in oestrogen tomorrow and aiming for transfer week beginning the 10th July. So glad that the FET protocol is so much less invasive - only one more scan between now and transfer, and only pills to take in before the pessaries start again. Hoping this is going to be the round...!

Update from me - NIPT back all very low risk! Have managed to pick up some sort of infection though and had to fork out a fortune in Spain for a private prescription for amoxicillin but one of us will be celebrating tonight with sangria and one with water 🤣🤣

Great about your NIPT @CR7 - that must feel a relief :) what a pain about the prescription though!

Tell me about it. Bloody nhs after my booking appt screwed up both my tests. Wrong dates on bloods and inconclusive urine. Repeated last Saturday and had to chase all week to find out that they knew I had a urine infection and just didn't tell me

Just told me today when I chased to see a private dr to get a private prescription. So bad. But anyway all sorted now and on amoxicillin xx

@RunningOnHope 👋 had to drop in and say hi as saw your FET will be close to mine. AF came last for me on Wednesday, but finally arrived and have my down reg scan on Wednesday, so I'll be a little behind you -"" being well.
