OP posts:
NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:14

I was really excited about the maternity clothes when we decided to TTC DS2, then when I went out to buy them, the excitment went! Now I am excited about them again, have seen some really nice ones, just hope they are still about come June(-ish) time

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:16

LOL Think I might be tempted by that

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:16

I've seen some really nice swimming costumes and summer stuff for my holiday. I must buy one of those seat belt things.

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:17

I might get them this

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:21

Seat belt things? For your bump? From what I have heard I wouldn't bother! The amniotic fluid protects the baby so well, you really don't need one, but if it gives you peace of mind...

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:24

I tell you what I am going to get this time, one of those long body cushion things for sleeping with/on. I can vivadly remember how hard it was to move in bed, am hoping this would make a difference!

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:27

I had a long body cushion things and it was the most useless thing I've ever bought (except the nappy wrapper).
I found this to be 'blooming marvellous'
I'm so not funny!!

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:29

I mean like this I really suffered with my hips last time, they are supposed to help, I think you are the first person who've said they don't!!

I like the idea of that round one, but think I'd need two, it doesn't look very thick! LOL

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:32

Thats what I've got. It just took up too much room.

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:32

I suppose I should get on with dinner, so much for DH being the chef of the house Think I have cooked more than him this month!

Might follow Playing and do rissotto..

Have a good night everyone xxx

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:34

That's what put me off last time, but if it takes up so much room, maybe DH will have to sleep elsewhere!!! LOL Bless him I will buy him a dog bed or something, he can curl up on the floor

Right I am off now, G'night xxx

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:34

Night Nat
xxx

NatalieJane please excuse my ignorance but what is the issue with double buggies? Are there twins in your family?

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:46

DH will be home in a few minutes, so he can do dinner

I do have twins in the family, but it is more because I am really really really hoping that by the time DC3 is here, DS2 will be walking everywhere, I don't like double buggies, I can barely get in shops at the moment with DS2's stroller, so a double would make it impossible, I am on and off the bus 2-3 times a week, and we only have those smaller street shuttle type buses. Will just be a whole lot easier to not have to have a double.

Having said all of that about the bus/shops, we are hoping to have sold our house, me be driving, and moved to a bigger town (or even better a small village, near a big town) so a double then won't be so bad.

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:54

Im going to start my driving lessons again soon, it would make life so much easier. I bought an Autotrader today so I can buy a cheap car and get my mum to give me lessons.

lardylumps · 18/02/2008 19:00

OMG My dd has just taken 5 steps on her own. She was with dp on the floor and just walked to me. She is to little....

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 19:03

WOW LL!!!
Thats fantastic!!!!
Ds cant stand up on his own yet!!

lardylumps · 18/02/2008 19:25

Its the first time she has ever done that. She has stood up a few times on her own but then wobbled and sat down again.

She is to little she shouldn't be doing it so soon. She is my little baby.

lardylumps · 18/02/2008 19:52

I am off now night all

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 20:25

Diege · 18/02/2008 20:31

Aww LL, how old is she? Had to lol Nat about that body pillow thing..would be like having another person in the bed ('Mr. Pillow'..). I was quite happy with my foam wedge!
Some great advice here, have enjoyed reading through! Anyone heard from/of G&T??

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 20:34

Diege it was like having another person in bed, thats why I didnt like it.

Not heard anything from G&T, recently.

Teuch · 18/02/2008 21:01

LG&T is missing in action since her DH and the baby came down with chickenpox...hope everything is okay!!

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 21:04

Yeah, I can remember having chickenpox. It was horrible, except time of school. I didnt get it until I was 11 and it meant time of school.

Diege · 18/02/2008 21:44

Right, off to bed now! Working in Manchester tomorrow, so won't get a chance to post. Will look forward to catching up tomorrow eve!
