hello everyone just been catching up with the posts. I am a bit confused as to when everyone is TTC, can someone elighten me . I am going to be ttc after i have finished the packed of pills i am on now. So in about 4 weeks time then.... he he he ha ha ha. Cant wait..... Need some energy first though,.

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 17:35

OK, have found this, don't worry they do different colours

I don't know too much about Chicco TBH, but I am passing on my avertion to Graco to you!! Obviously, th car seat you like would have be tried in the car, they are deffo not universal, and you are better going somewhere like Mothercare to see if it fits (even you have no intention of buying from Mothercare!) Make sure they fit it though.

My, well DH's neice, has a little boy, and she leaves his harness loose, like a buggy harness, the car seat is fitted correctly, but if they ever had an accident, the car seat is no good because he isn't strapped in properly. She won't listen to me, she says, "but he looks so uncomfortable strapped in so tightly", I don't think they are uncomfortable at all, and I think even if he was, better him being a little bit uncomfortable than dead. Anyway, that was my way of saying, don't leave the harness too lose!!

On with buggy search...!

Oh, they do a three wheeled system, but it has a car seat base instead of a carry cot, thought it would be good, but the seat doesn't turn round £150

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 17:47

Oooh I really like that one,

Kay will you be looking for a double buggy? I have a travel system already and dont know what to do baring in mind dd1 will be about 20 months when new lo is born (if all goes to plan that is, fingers crossed and everything else).

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 17:49

YAY!!!!!
I feel all excited today and all I did was oreder some PG tests!!!

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 17:50

Yes LL I am looking for one. I've found one I really really like.

Oreder? I mean order

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 17:54

The four wheeled one got a good review, but she hasn't actually used it day to day yet... can't see it being that bad though!

I think the only other place is twoleftfeet, but unless you know someone who can get there to pick it up BB, I wouldn't bother. (Or if you fancy going to Bedford to pick it up yourself!)

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 17:55

Sorry started typing that and DH rang so didn't finish it for ages!! LOL

Oh god, the double buggies are back in the conversation.... I need saving, from you lot!!!

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/02/2008 18:00

Nice pushchair Natalie. I'm impressed idn't think it would be possible for £150. I was wondering if it would be possible for £300 or if I was going to have to spend the best part of £500 . I'm not buying a double buggy Natalie so dont't worry (probably just jinxed myself to have twins now ).

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:01

look at this and this

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/02/2008 18:04

Kay, you should have put a warning on that for Natalie

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/02/2008 18:05

Right, I should really go home now as I have stopped working and am just chatting to you guys!!!. Have a good evening everyone, might not be on too much tomorrow (I realised I said that today) as I do actually have loads of work to do!

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:06

He he

I've just found this website and its great. Not a double buggy in sight.

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:06

Bye Playing have a good evening.

Playingthewaitinggame · 18/02/2008 18:07

LOL, like it Kay, right I am really going now.

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:08

LOOK at the size of them.... not in a million years!!!

You can get some nice looking cheaper buggies Playing, they do all tend to be quite heavy and a bit clodopperish, but if that is your budget then what can you do? I know I ended up buying a stroller for DS2, but TBH I would rather spend a bit more on the buggy, get a decent car seat, and keep it for longer, than spend £200 on a cheap set and then another £100 on stroller and £150 on footmuffs, changing bags, rain covers etc. Teuch, 30, DC2, NOW.

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:10

G'night Playing

LOL Kay, I had one from Blooming Marvellous last time, "It started with a kiss", and it ended up in the bim the next week, was tiny when it came out of the drier!

NatalieJane · 18/02/2008 18:12

Bin as well

kayzisbroody · 18/02/2008 18:12

I had one from Next "Baby Love" I really liked it. I'm looking forward to wearing maternity clothes again. Dunno why.
