No way Handysitt would end up on floor. You can pick the whole chair up by the Handysitt its that secure. My arse it would last till 6 but my colleage has one for here 31/2 year old and he still uses it fine. They are fantastic, lots of restuarants use them now, they are light, easy to store, look good, everyone I have recommended them to loves them. They are the only baby/toddler product I am 100% certain of .

Bugaboo looks like it should fit a BB ok for you ref from a quick glance at the pic. Might have restricted head room when in flat position, but many have that problem.

Kay, I hear good things about Phil and Teds, although if I'm honest I find the baby bit really claustrophobic - it's as if they put it on as an afterthought (though friend swears by them). LOL NJ about the microlyte. I was like that too with the Zapp!

I am hoping beyound all hope that I won't need a double, I can barely drive his single, would hate to think of the RTA's I'll cause with a double!

On a serious note, I am on and off the bus, our town centre is quite small and lots of shops are tiny, it really is tough going with a single small stroller, I don't think I'd even get in some of the doors with a double.

So I am back to ignoring them and they will go away

I'd love a Phil and Teds but with dh's MD I dont think he'd be able to get the baby in or out if he was on his own. I really really love this I just think its gorgeous and so good too.

Playing I didn't mean the handysit would come away from the chair, but that he would knock the whole chair over. DS1 never rocked like DS2 did so he would have been OK, but I wouldn't put DS2 in anything that wasn't a 5 point harness IYKWIM? Different strokes for different folks and all that

My sister has a P&T's, my mum said just this morning she put the baby in the seat underneath, and she felt like she was putting him in a coffin.... my mum comes out with some crap at times, but I kind of knew what she meant with it. I don't like it personally, but my main thing about it is the missing 4th wheel, I think the only 3 wheeled one I've liked was the Quinney Buzz, but even that has found it's forth wheel now!

Know what you mean about driving them Natalie, double buggies must be so much work. Think I'd rather go for a sling/baby carrie plus pushchair or maybe a Buggy Board (although not 100% convinced about them, maybe cos I spent so much time explaining to people how to fit them over the phone!).

Jasmine, Scarlett and Liberty are lovely names as is Lily.

I really want one where the newborn can lay flat and so they can face me. There is another I like but its over £600!!

OOO I see what you mean Natalie. I can see that, must be pretty strong though. Depends on you chairs as well. We have heavy old fashioned pine chairs that no dc would be able to rock but if you had a light weight modern chair I spose I can see that. I also know that if I had to pay retail price I might think again but I should be able to get one very cheap.

We have solid sheesham wood chairs, they are heavey but with enough force behind them (i.e. DS2!) they would tip up. Besides, I wouldn't use it on a wooden chair, the bits that go over the back and that rest on the seat part would bruise the wood.

What's everyone having for dinner? I am hungry, knew I should have had a MD's with the boys....

i want one where baby faces me to begin with (must protect FB from the world lol) but can lay flat too, if poss, and then swap to face out (when there bored with me lol)

Do you want it to last up to 3 years or will you buy a smaller stroller when baby is older?
Are you bothered about the weight of it?
Are you and DP similar heights?
Do you want practical, or cool?!
Do you need a big shopping basket?
Do you want matching footmuffs, changing bags etc.?
Budget?
Would you prefer a bar handle or two single handles? (Never admit to a shop that you plan to put shopping bags on the two handles.....!!)
Would you rather it be in one piece, or are seperates better?
Does it need to stand alone when folded?

I think that is it, but will probably think of more!

Geordie, well there are several clamp on ones I know, Graco do one as do Chicco, but I assume there are probably more.

Not remotely though about dinner yet. Might make risotto, haven't had it for ages and I have some mushrooms to use up.

One more question BB, do want new or used?

Will be hard to find anything not Graco, for £160 with a car seat included. The decent (IMO decent equals safe) car seats are £100 upwards alone.
