lardylumps · 16/02/2008 13:38

I am getting excited now as well i am two days into my pack of pills and wont be taking them again once i finish.

I am so excited and i just cant hide it.

Diege · 16/02/2008 14:57

Ooh LL, and you do know that you are (supposedly) more fertile than usual in the 3 months following coming off the pill?
I predict a spate of BFPs in the next 6 months or so!

lardylumps · 16/02/2008 15:17

oh diege i hope so... I wonder who will be first with the BFP and when it will be??

Diege · 16/02/2008 15:22

I don't know (probably NJ with her rampant GOF -ing ). Think I might be towards the end because of my age! (and my non-rampant-ness).

kayzisbroody · 16/02/2008 15:41

I've got about 5 days till OV I think!!!

Diege · 16/02/2008 16:04

Ooh Kay how exciting . Are you using those OPK stick things, or just going by the false nail method? .

kayzisbroody · 16/02/2008 17:07

No Im not using them, Im just working it out myself, dh says if we have sex every day then it doesnt matter when I OV
Men, its all they think about.

lardylumps · 16/02/2008 17:46

Good work Kay, i defo agree you are going to be first with the BFP.

Right ladies i am off. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and i will catch up with you all on Monday.

kayzisbroody · 16/02/2008 19:04

I've just got ready for my meal out. How typical that I have the first spot I've had in ages today when I'm going out. Have a good evening all.

Diege · 16/02/2008 19:25

Have a lovely meal Kay, and see you Monday LL

NatalieJane · 16/02/2008 19:32

Evening all You have all been nice and busy

Have a nice meal Kay, will be waiting for your BFP report soon enough

How is everyone's weekend going? We have had a good day, nipped into town for a few bit's this morning, and potted about this afternoon.

Not staying because it is nearly bed time, and Ant and Dec are on.... hooorah!!!!

My home birth went out of the window after I got Pre-Eclampsia, but I didn't really want it in the first place, looooong old staory, can go into major detail if you want, but I haven't got time now!

Right, bed time, and alcohol time Enjoy the rest of the weekend girlies, DS1 has his half term this week, so don't know how much I will be on! But will try to keep up to date G'night xxx

Diege · 16/02/2008 19:38

Hi NJ! . Yes, we have been obsessing about BFPs !
I know what you mean about home births. I'm closer to considering it this time then with other 3 (I also got pre-eclamsia with dd1), but was put off by comment on Corrie last night that the house has to be 'scrupulously clean' .
Enjoy your ant and dec . It's Casualty all the way for me!

NatalieJane · 16/02/2008 19:52

That made me laugh on Corrie, the boyfriend is supposed to be a sonographer, not a midwife! What is he supposed to know about home birthing?!!

Yep, Ant and Dec, Casualty, my lovely liquer stuff and sex, can't get a much better Saturday night in my book Until X factor starts again at least!!

Right I am off now, DH is coming down from putting them to bed! xxxx

Diege · 16/02/2008 20:04

Ah yes, the voice of reason...why indeed would a sonographer (and an actor playing a sonographer at that )know about home birthing! Think it's story-line driven as it leads to whathisname (the real father) getting Violet's flat professionally cleaned etc etc - ie pissing her off even more, etc, leading to her trying to do a runner from hime and then going into labour in the Rovers a month early (as you do..)
Ditto with X-factor - love it too! Am making do with American one at the moment on ITV2 . Have a good evening!

kayzisbroody · 16/02/2008 21:16

Just got in from the meal, It was lovely, bit drunk now.
Dont they say sperm lasts 7 days.

Diege · 16/02/2008 21:38

err, between 3 and 5 days tops I think. Can I ask why?

kayzisbroody · 16/02/2008 22:11

Dh thought it did. I think I OV next saturday. My mum has ds so we dont have to worry about waking him.

Diege · 16/02/2008 22:21

Ah, so your thinking was that today's sperm might fertilise next week's egg? Possible, but not likely. I'd say go for it pretty much constantly from next Wednesday through to Monday . I'd get a few good sleeps in if I were you

Diege · 16/02/2008 22:23

I have to say this 'voyeur' TTC tis very exciting! I might even start (mentally of course )keeping a track of everyone's cycle days .

Cosmogirl · 16/02/2008 22:30

Hi ya,

Just thought I'd pop on to report no broken bones from the skiing today - yey! It was really fun actually, though much harder than it looks! Me and my brother were in a group session and there was a....how to I said this politely? Older lady....around 65 maybe in our group. Bless her heart she kept falling over time and time again which did slow down the progress of our session. Nonetheless it was still good. I fell over a couple of times Not when skiing though, once when trying to side step up the hill in skis and the other when trying to use the rope-tow (those things are bloody hard!). Luckily my bro was there to drag me up again!
Will defo be going again tho - was really good.

LL - that is exciting about the pill! I finished mine last week and am waiting for AF to arrive this weekend (not proper AF obviously but withdrawal fake AF). I am really hoping my cycle returns quickly and gets into a regular pattern, so I can get used to things and work on OV etc. Started taking the FA last week too.

Cosmogirl · 16/02/2008 22:35

Anyone know how long after last withdrawal bleed it usually takes for next period to arrive? I am guessing when I don't restart the pill next week as I normally do my body will go 'ooo what is going on here?' and get a bit confused...

Teuch · 17/02/2008 01:54

don't want to be huffy (and am a bit pissed!) but please don't wish for Kay fisrt BFP as I amdue AF 28th or so... would love to be first...

sorry for typos ampissed

kayzisbroody · 17/02/2008 07:32

Morning all
Teuch, I think you will be first to get a BFP as my AF should be here around the 7th March, my fingers are crossed for you.

Cosmo, that sounds great fun, Are you going to go to somewhere like France etc once you've got the hang of it?

Teuch · 17/02/2008 08:12

Ha ha...morning .

I really should learn to stay away from the pooter after a night out!!!

I am just impatient...in my defense!

kayzisbroody · 17/02/2008 08:25

Im really excited, I'll be waiting til the 28th for you to come and tell us you have your BFP.
I've got longer to wait than you so you'll be first.
Does anyone know if I can still learn to drive while pg?
