New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@Daniki I really hope so. I can’t help wondering for every twinge and pain. I’m never a symptom spotter and I usually plod along with life until I’m around 12DPO and test. Some months I didn’t test because I just knew AF was on the way.

God i would love your willpower! Il still test now regardless even tho i know I'm out 😂 ah well maybe not having the dread of going into this new job every day will help in the next cycle.

Unfortunately it’s a negative, and a hard one to swallow. I felt different and had belief that this was the month.

@Sez281 getting on okay, peak fertility today so got to find the energy to DTD today after a busy week at work. Somehow feels like the fertile window always happens when it's busiest

@Babyhopeful23 Aww I know you must feel so deflated, but you're definitely not out unless AF arrives 🤞🤞
@Annie1295 Oh it's Murphys law that peak days fall when we're at our busiest and most stressed 🥴 At least you're almost in tww so hopefully the busy times will be a good distraction 👌

@Babyhopeful23 ah I'm sorry it's negative but still time before AF 🙏 AF started for me today, on 11dpo which is earlier than expected 🙄

I've had a positive clear blue advanced test on Thursday but still waiting for the temperature rise - has that ever happened to anyone ?

Never mind, it finally confirmed so officially 4 or 5 dpo. Not sure we DTD enough this month so not getting my hopes up. It's really hard to find the balance I think. We're just DTD every other day in the fertile window at the moment because every day got too mich last time we were trying but somehow it doesn't feel enough to rely on 3 times....

6dpo today and feeling a bit nauseous again but after last month I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up. Also feel like I've got a cold coming on so could just be that.

How is everyone else doing?

AF due today, tested and negative. Having a hard month. My friend and I were due to have our babies at the same time (Jan 24)but I miscarried and saw her today with a lovely bump growing. I’m so happy for her, I really am, but I am sad today and really feeling my loss.

@LetsGo36 I feel you there - my sister in law is 4 weeks ahead of where we should be, and it's a real struggle (I was due in early Feb). AF came yesterday (4 1/2 weeks after surgery) so I'm CD2 now, back into breaking the month into chunks again for TTC! Fingers and toes crossed for you x

@LetsGo36 @moosey89 sorry to hear your going through this as well. My SIL is due at the beginning of September, we weren't that close in due date (I was due in December) but it's really hard to see her and basically all our family talks about at the moment is pregnancy and babies

@moosey89 and @Annie1295 thank you so much for those messages and I’m so sorry you are both going through this too. It’s nice to feel like someone understands me. I feel so misunderstood and isolated with my emotions at the moment.

@LetsGo36 I think it's completely natural to struggle with emotions after miscarriage. I felt guilty for feeling a bit jealous of my SIL in the beginning. Hopefully we'll get our BFPs. I've been feeling nauseous and my BBT went up again this morning. I'm 11dpo, AF due Thursday. Initially planned to wait to Friday to test but I might cave tomorrow with an ultra early test. This guessing game is driving me insane

@Annie1295 the waiting game is soooo hard. Everything crossed for you though!

Caved and took a clearblue ultra early this morning. BFN - at this point it is meant to be 99% accurate so I think I'm out for this month. Bit strange that I still feel quite nauseous and my BBT is still high

Has anyone else had a BFN with an early test at 11dpo? Trying not to give up hope but it's hard today

AF due today and nothing so far, no cramps or anything. BBT was a little lower than yesterday but still a good 0.4 degrees higher than before ovulation so I'm very confused especially with the BFN yesterday

Ladies for the early tests I recommend the boots early ones. I tested at 11dpo with the same pee using a clearblue and a boots. Clearblue negative and boots positive and I am now 12 weeks

@L0uise35 thanks for the tip! Did you use a clearblue ultra early one or just a standard clearblue one?

@Annie1295 a clearblue ultra early and a boots early. Took them both at same time

AF officially a day late but it took NC a few days to confirm ovulation so could've ovulated a day late as well. Too nervous to test again this morning. Trying to just get through the weekend and see what happens

@Annie1295 oh fingers crossed for you! I know you had bfn the other day but you never know! 🤞 I'm just about to enter fertile window in next day or 2 so mentally preparing myself. It falls well this cycle as I'm off work next week so just have to make sure my DP is up for it as much as I am! 😂
