New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@MrsAlana sorry I should have added that I went on to have positive tests after that "period" which was in fact implantation bleeding. Unfortunately I had an MMC at 8w2d in early March but they did say the bleed wasn't related to it so fingers crossed for you 🤞

Think I'm probably out for this month. 15 DPO and still a BFN- surely there would be the slightest hint of a line by now?

Pregnacare conception tablets increased my cycle length to 37 days so I have no idea when to expect AF now either. A bit of a disaster first cycle as I got thrush and never caught my peak too! Phew, bring on the next cycle.

@glasshalffull0 what was your cycle length before taking pregnacare? I've recently started taking them, my cycle is in or around 26 days so I'm only 9DPO but AF due in 3 days and I think I'll be out too as I'm extremely crampy and no BFP yet 😕 just want it to be here already so I can try again

@Sez281 It was usually between 30 and 32 days. It was so frustrating as I had convinced myself I was pregnant and over thought every little twinge and cramp.

I've since mumsnet searched it and it's quite common. Vey frustrating as I never would've taken it if I had done some research before- I'm not going to take it now, just folic acid instead. However it's definitely worth doing at least one cycle to see if it does affect you and try not to overthink if you are late.

I feel the exact same too- cramps have got a lot worse today so expected AF very soon, just want to get on to the next cycle now!

@glasshalffull0 ugh I can only imagine the frustration when it's dragged out even longer 😭 if I notice it happening to me I'll defo just stick to folic acid, couldn't deal with the not knowing when due on top of everything🥴... Hopefully next cycle is better for us both 🤞

I’m usually about 4/5 days so that was def unusual - I’m going to call for tests today - fingers crossed !

Does anyone else count down the days in the TWW? I'm only 2dpos but I'm already counting down the next 12 days. Any tips for how to make the TWW go faster? Last pregnancy it took us 8 months to get the BFP so I'm trying not to get my hopes up in the early cycles (this is cycle 1 after mmc) but it's hard not to get too focused on specific dates ....

Got my bloods back and they are only at 46, so should be much higher for 5w1day I'm doing a repeat on Wednesday but been advised its likely miscarriage - I suspect I may bleed again before I get to wed with levels that low

Just got a lovely strong peak anyone else around O atm?

Has anyone experienced any symptoms 4 or 5 dpo? I've been really tired today and feeling a bit off and queasy. I think it's still too early but the main symptom I had with my last pregnancy was fatigue so just wondered if anyone had it this early

@Annie1295 how long is your cycle? Mine has been 26 days the last 2 cycles (had mc in March) started to get symptoms (sore breasts tiredness etc) on 5dpo last week but I also had cramping so assumed AF was coming. AF was due today and no sign so have tested and I have a very faint BFP🙈 so to answer your question yes I think its definitely possible! I'm not getting my hopes up to much I'm going to wait a day or 2 and see if BFP gets darker 🙏 Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Sez281 it used to be 29 days before MMC. Looking at when I ovulated I think it's more likely to be around 30/31 this month. Currently CD22

Thanks @Babyhopeful23 I was too afraid to do a test this morn😕. I don't know what's come over me. I was dying to test from 5dpo got the faint line on days 9&10 but feel like I want to wait another day or 2 to test again so if it's there i'm definitely sure. AF was due today according to app but it's only a 26 day cycle since my MMC so will test again in a day or 2 and hopefully allow myself to get excited then🙏. I think the fear kicked in big time too, I honestly think I have some ptsd after my MMC in March. Im terrified to go back to the epau 😕

AF has departed, I’ve come down with some sort of cold and have extreme nausea. If I wasn’t just finished my period I would think this is pregnancy! Anyways hopefully I’ll be feeling better in the next few days to begin BD again. I’m going with the SME plan this month so pray for me 😂😂😂

@Sez281 definitely can relate to the fear and ptsd. Obviously hoping I'll get a BFP this month I'm also scared of the emotions that'll come with it.

I'm still feeling tired and queasy but I think it might be coming down with a cold so not too hopeful that it's a sign

@Babyhopeful23 sorry you're feeling so crappy😣, hopefully it passes soon so you can be in flying form for dtd 👌😂 @Annie1295 yeah I know that so many with previous MMC are in the same boat so understand the absolute dread of going back to epau 😢 My BFP is a little darker again this morn but I'm still not getting my hopes up too much. Going to wait another few days before I call doc. Nothing I can do as I'm away on holidays for the next 10 days. My main concern at the moment is trying to explain to DPs family why I'm not drinking and then pretending 7up is g&t 🙈😂
