New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@bringmearainbow I'll probably hold out, I did cave earlier and peed after a 1 hour hold at 7dpo, I've lost the plot, obviously it was negative but think I'll wait now, AF is due on Wednesday anyway.

Yay!!! Happy for you, one less thing to worry about. Try and relax now for the next week or so before FW approaches! X

Hey ladies!

been quiet recently as I decided to “ignore trying” now my partners analysis results came back quite bad, and just see what happens until his next test.

until I just got pinky brown discharge all day today on day 21 of my cycle ….never experienced this before!!!! 🫣

Fingers crossed that it's a good sign! I got that on my last cycle but I had gone on a crazy diet and exercise regime so confused my body entirely 😅. And AF turned up on day 25 - when I'm usually a 28day kinda gal. My body was seriously peed off with me - clearly!
When is AF due? When might you test? Keep us updated!

Hello! I’ve been quiet on here struggling though the TTC journey. I’ve been reading but not posting as it’s always back to CD1 every month!
Anyways, I wanted your keen eye opinion on this months test. It’s the first time I’ve even questioned a test. Every single one so far have been stark negatives.
this was taken today 5 mins after POAS at 10DPO.

@Angelselevenx its my own expectations that I would be pregnant straight away like with my first. It’s hard not to let it consume you 24/7 and I find stepping back from the apps and forums has let it escape my head. Although there is such great support and advice on here.

Thanks I hope it is a vvvfl I don’t have a FRER, I’ll get one after work. My BBT has begun it’s downward trend so I’m thinking it’s not a line at all. We will find out soon, AF due in 4 days!

So what I thought was implantation bleeding now has turned into more of a period but 10 days early, never happened before in my life so god knows what’s going on :( fed up of this journey its exhausting.

@Babyhopeful23 i deffo see a vvvfl but I had some bad indents on easy@home tests so definitely get another test ❤️

I'm out on cycle 5, AF came 😔. I've taken a step back this month & not temping or anything going to just DTD as and when we want to (with me knowing when O day is 🤣) cause it was just getting a bit to much. So cycle 6 but much more relaxed this month x

Hi ladies, I might jump in on this thread if that’s ok. I’ve been following since March when I had a mmc on my first pregnancy. Things have only started to return to normal for me in the last couple of months so I’m actively ttc now. I’m 7 dpo and driving myself crazy thinking I have early symptoms (really sore breasts, tiredness and mild cramping) but in my heart I know it’s probably pms😕 (I never had pms symptoms before my MMC but since then every month I’m an absolute mess! Af due in 5 days so I’m just gonna have to wait to test and not drive myself crazy 🙈

@Annie1295 I'm the same, I keep telling myself that realistically it's going to take months and not to get my hopes up but it's so hard not to 🥴 I was never symptom spotting before my last pg but now I'm on tww I'm literally noticing every little twinge and driving myself crazy waiting 🙈 still 4 days till AF due so going to try keep busy and not get my hopes up too much

So it was definitely an indent! AF arrived yesterday with vengeance. Back to day 1 again, fingers crossed for my BFP this cycle!

@Sez281 thanks for the support. Sorry to hear you think yours is coming too. Are you tracking temp? I started last cycle and definitely helped with pinpointing ovulation. I find that I don’t always catch it on the OPKs.

@SimplyChic the days are certainly longer when waiting for ovulation and also during the TWW. I find it painfully slow.

This AF arriving for me has been the most difficult one to accept, there is no BFP. I genuinely thought it would have happened by now. Anyways back on the horse!!

I'm looking for any thoughts on my current situation I had what I thought was a CP last week - I got a vvfl on cheapie followed by positive early digital on 13DPO, only to start cramping and bleeding heavily the next day.

I bled heavy for 2 days then it tapered off and I accepted that I'd had a chemical. Only.. I took another test yesterday (6 days after I began to bleed) to confirm that my hcg levels had gone, only it was a dark positive (21?DPO) much darker than the week before .. I followed up with a week indicator digital which showed pregnant 2-3 (which would be correct)

My fertility unit won't get me in to do anything unless I get another positive test early next week but I'm basically freaking has anyone had a heavy (/ implantation) bleed? followed by successful pregnancy or is it likely my body is just delaying the inevitable bad outcome

@Babyhopeful23 I hadn't even considered temping until I started following these threads the last few days. I'm definitely going to order a bbt as like that I'm worried the opks aren't giving 💯 stars. Fingers crossed for us both next cycle 🤞

@MrsAlana I had what I thought was a period back in January as it lasted for 5 full days and was more than just spotting so it is definitely possible. Unfortunately it's just a waiting game now so you should keep testing and make and wait for appointment, I know it probably seems like a lifetime away 😕 Fingers crossed for you 🤞
