New thread for those of us now trying for the first babies of 2024, may we all be lucky this month!

I'm CD1 today of cycle 6 ttc my second.
Had a chemical at the end of February and lots of illness in March so revved up to give this month all I've got!

@Angelselevenx I never used to spot at all! Just af for 4- 5 days, now I spot for sometimes 6 days before af. Annoying and no idea why!
The doctors just said to up iron and we will do repeat bloods go see if it's helped both issues. And said to read up on lifestyle changes to reduce testosterone. Which is code for lose weight.
If testosterone is still high there is little they can do as apparently that's fertility and I don't qualify for that due to having a child already. Absolute joke! I thought that was just for ivf! Not a Tablet that could help with hormone inbalance! They said all they could do would be to prescribe contraception as that would level things put but wouldn't help with ttc! Can you believe it!! Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles are your progesterone levels normal? I know that can cause spotting before AF.

You've done really well losing 12lbs in 2 weeks and what a shocking thing to say about contraception! Doctors are oblivious sometimes. Definitely read up on some things you can do online, if there is anything other than what you're already doing.

This period this time round is the strangest period I've ever had, I know it's probably just the aftermath of last months CP but it's very odd. Xxx

@Angelselevenx yep, that was the reason for the bloods in the first place, the check progesterone and she said those are normal..
But yes the reason for the weight loss is to try to lower testosterone as that's nearly all I can do to be honest and take the iron tablets as she said iron deficiency could cause testosterone to rise. It's all a joke and I feel alone in it all. I'm hoping my repeat bloods everything is normal, otherwise apparently there is nothing they can do!

Aww hun, I've heard sometimes CP can muck things up, I'm crossing my fingers that you will either not have a next period (!) or if you do it's back to normal and you can move on xxx

2024 baby due, just found out Thursday!

Morning everyone :) I think my LH levels are beginning to rise in line with the Premom app predictions (this is my first time tracking them). Hoping they get darker over the next few days as I was convinced I wouldn’t ovulate this month. How is everyone feeling? Anyone else in their fertile window?

Hello, this is my first time tracking using easy@home strips and the Premom app. Does this result mean I will be ovulating soon ?

@Favofit hello :). Doesn't look like it yet, the test line (on the left) needs to be as dark as or darker than the control line x

@Favofit definitely keep testing! When do you usually O, do you have a rough idea? What cycle day are you currently?

@Angelselevenx I've never tracked ovulation so unsure but previously had regular cycle. We have a two year old and started ttc in December 21. I had an ectopic pregnancy in June 22 and lost my left tube. It's though journey

I haven’t been on in ages, but AF arrived today. 7 days late, really dashing all my hopes. I was truly convinced that the second line would appear for me one of the mornings. But it wasn’t to be! It’s my longest cycle at 38 days!!!! Feeling sorry for myself and abandoning my diet.

Im sorry youre having so many issues, I hate when doctors say they can give the pill to sort your issues, thats just going to mask them not actually help in any way. I had the same thing and did a lot of my own research and managed to help my symptoms with lifestyle changes and diet etc. A really good book is 'period power' which I highly recommend. Actually useful information and very fact based.

Think AF is making a show! I had some pinkish “blood” after we BDd but then nothing much now so not sure… 14dpo! AF is due today so deffo think it’s that starting! The only unusual thing is usually my boobs hurt but atm it’s only my nipples which I never get and I feel horrendously nauseous! Strange but think I’m out anyway :(

I am (I assume) 8/9DPO… testing tomorrow because I always do luckily it’s before Pilates class so no time to dwell 🥲 not sure if I have anything worth using though just cheapies! And a CB early, which I never like 🤣

How is everyone? I'm not sure if I'm waiting for ovulation or AF sans ovulation as I've had sore boobs for four days and cramps so bad I tested for a UTI (negative). Hoping whichever it is comes soon to put me out of my misery!

Can I ask how soon did you get a positive test. My period isn't due for other 7 days and both test where negative. I tested positive early on DS .

Lh levels seem to be starting to rise now which is in line with my previous two cycles prior to the miscarriage! Hoping I ovulate in the next week 🤞 Was very worried I wouldn't at all this month!

I'm new to tracking and unsure what is considered a high LH level on easy home testing. I just got this and thought the line was quite dark, the app still says it's low.
I am CD10 on a 28-29cycle . Tia

@Favofit The line should be the same colour as control or darker. On your pic it looks the same colour so this could be your peak. Not everyone gets a super high, dark peak or manages to catch it.
