Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

@AlleycatMarie morning ladies! Of course early days is far safer to skip, but yes if you have strips you could substitute for the expensive CB ones for the early days. Whoops @TunnocksTCake lol not to worry as like you say still early.
I'm good today, this tww is a killer though. How are you? Xxx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 07:54

@Floralsandsmiles it's dragging so much isn't it. I'm only on 3DPO today x

Peaceandloves · 10/03/2023 07:55

It's bloody awful! Lol 😔 trying to distract myself! Lol xxx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 08:00

@Floralsandsmiles yes and me. When will you start testing. Your a bit further on than me I think

buckingmad · 10/03/2023 08:38

Hi. I was on the October group and got a BFP but sadly miscarried so tentatively joining here.

I think I ovulated yesterday but not been as on top of my OPKs and charting as I normally am as still a bit all over the place.

This is our second month of trying for baby number 2. I already have a 19mo.

Floralsandsmiles · 10/03/2023 08:54

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 08:00

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 I'm 9DPO and will wait till Monday at 12dpo to test 😊 xxx

Floralsandsmiles · 10/03/2023 12:02

Fully in this group now.
At 9DPO (cd27) AF just reared her ugly head. I was feeling cramping and thought it was implantation. But bright red blood. So there is no way it is. I'm beside myself. 😔 therefore LF is only 8DPO??? That is shocking! I'm devasted. Bloods will be done next month to check progesterone etc.
I literally can't believe this as I was sure it was our month with so many symptoms. I can't stop crying. Xxx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 12:09

@Floralsandsmiles really sorry to hear that. Is it possible you ovulated a day or so earlier than you thought so maybe have a slightly longer LP?

@buckingmad so sorry to hear of your loss. Fingers crossed you this month. I'm also TTC #2 my other child is almost 3

Feliciacat · 10/03/2023 12:12

@Floralsandsmiles I’m so sorry to hear about your disappointment. There’s nothing I can say so I won’t. I just hope you look after yourself today xxx

@buckingmad welcome to the group though I’m sorry it is under sad circumstances. 3-6 months is normal to take to conceive apparently so hopefully you’ll get another BFP soon xxx

TunnocksTCake · 10/03/2023 12:57

@Floralsandsmiles oh sooo sorry to hear af has arrived so early. That's such a shock when you are so sure it's your month. Sending you big hugs and glad you have investigations next month.

Welcome @buckingmad and sorry to hear of your mc, it sucks. I hope you don't have a long wait til your sticky bean.

chezvic · 10/03/2023 13:11

@Floralsandsmiles look after yourself and remember to chat if you need to

Welcome to @buckingmad sorry for your loss. Good luck on the journey.

Welcome too to @Peaceandloves I'm CD5 so long way to go for me too.

Starting to wonder if I'm becoming peri menopausal as my monthly cycle has reduced by 6 days for the last 3 months and also gone much heavier. Typically this has coincided with 3 months of TTC 🙄

But anyway I'm starting on the OPKs on Monday to see if I can predict when I ovulate as I've no idea at the minute.

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 13:17

@chezvic would recommend using easy@home and the free premom app I've found it very helpful. You take pics of ovulation Tests and it takes the line progression etc

Un7breakable · 10/03/2023 13:26

Have you changed any supplements? I only as I I noticed when I was taking one brand of vitamins my cycle was 26-27 and when I've been off then or on a prenatal my cycles are 24 days. Nearly caught me this month as nearly missed O because of it.

chezvic · 10/03/2023 13:34

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 thank you I hoping I'll find it easy to follow

@Un7breakable I did start to take folic acid when I started TTC. Other than that I take loads of vitamins- bit of a gym freak - however I think I also started taking another vitamin in January but I can't think what it was. I did knock biotin on the head at that point as I thought it was making my face hairy 🤣 ill look back at my Holland and Barrett orders and see if there's anything I can pick up on. Thanks for the advice didn't think of supplements that could be affecting my cycle

2021lady · 10/03/2023 13:51

Jumping on this threat from the ttc november 1
I am 12 or 13dpo today but testing negative and can feel af coming so on to a new month I guess
I'm feeling hopeless tho tbh. I just wanna see those 2 pink lines 😒😒

chezvic · 10/03/2023 13:57

@2021lady how long have you been trying and is it your first?

Floralsandsmiles · 10/03/2023 14:12

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 @Feliciacat @TunnocksTCake @chezvic
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it. Going to take some time off the threads for a while. I'm struggling too much now. Wishing you all baby dust and good wishes and hugs xxxx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 10/03/2023 14:16

@Floralsandsmiles take care of yourself. Fingers crossed for next month sending wishing you baby dust to x

@2021lady how long have you been trying and is it your first?

Been trying almost 2 years for my second child..I have a 3 year old already

AlleycatMarie · 10/03/2023 19:46

@Floralsandsmiles Im so sorry to hear this. I had a weird month like this a couple of months ago and wondered if maybe it was cause by a fertilised egg that began to implant but didn’t quite make it?

@TunnocksTCake i always ovulate around cd 18 usually, couldn’t believe it was so early this month! So make sure you do a cheapie test, just to check!!!

Jennifer89 · 11/03/2023 10:55

@Floralsandsmiles sorry to hear that also can relate to feeling upset every month, I've felt that too. One thing I have found helps me is being more pessimistic and I tell dh I expect AF to arrive and will let him know if it doesn't. Makes me sound a bit unenthusiastic but just a coping mechanism I suppose..

Seasidegirll · 11/03/2023 11:13

Hi, I’m just jumping over from the ttc November thread. I did a test this morning at 11 dpo, BFN! AF isn’t due until Tuesday but I’m pretty confident I’m out, especially as my boobs have started hurting today which is a classic sign that AF is just around the corner.

Fingers crossed for lots of beautiful little Christmas babies 🤞🏻❤️

I'm really not sure @AlleycatMarie. The problem being that my LF was only 8DPO, which is so very low and a massive problem obviously! Xxx
