Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

Joining you all from the November thread. AF kept me waiting 2 days, but here we go, CD1 - Baby Dust to all 💐

@Floralsandsmiles aw I understand. Ttc journey can be tough? How long have you been ttc?
I am on month 6 but more like month 5 as one month only managed to dtd 5 days before ovulation..

Is anyone near the testing stage yet. I'm only 4DPO today and literally dragging so much. I really try not to test early if I can but normally cave a day or two before AF is due

I can test on around the 18th March. I’ll probably cave before them too. Completely understandable!

I will likely cave around then as well as will be 11DPO. Probs should wait more until 20th / 21st

Same @Jennifer89 😔 getting tests done in the next few weeks and scan on Wednesday. Worried will have to go down the IVF route xxxx

im not entirely convinced I’ve ovulated. I got my high LH a few days earlier than normal and didn’t manage to catch the peak. I did have a sharp pain on my left side though so maybe I did. I’ll be testing 23rd, day my AF is due.

@buckingmad fingers crossed you did. Weirdly I only ever get ovulation pain on my right side but never on the left.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt it on my right! I ovulated from my left when I was pregnant with my daughter so hopefully that’s my lucky side ❤️

this is the calmest I’ve felt in the TWW (although I’m only 2 days in 😂). Give me a couple of days and I’ll be imagining all kinds of symptoms.

@Floralsandsmiles my luteal phase is usually around 12 days, then 2 months ago it was only 7. I had some pink spotting 6dpo which I’ve never had before and went to bed so excited because I thought it must have been implantation bleeding. Then the following morning AF fully started at only 7dpo and cd 24. That’s when I wondered if it was a ‘near miss’.
Last month I didn’t ovulate and this month I did on cd 13, which is super early for me.

It makes everything so much harder when your cycle changes. I’m so sorry this month didn’t work out for you. Hopefully you will get a longer luteal phase this month. I think you said you are going for tests this month - I’ve got an appointment on the 16th. Thinking of you

Aww OK, thank you for sharing @AlleycatMarie! I have a scan on Wednesday and bloods I will book for 7 days after I ovulate. I just want to be in for a shot, I feel like so much is against me and my body hates me. I know that's extreme, but I feel really low xxx

@Floralsandsmiles I have also had tests done recently due to concerns about spotting before periods and panicking after ttc 5 months.. Day 21 test all fine and waiting for day 3 period results..
I think it can be quite normal for it to take 6 months to a year still to fall pregnant but doesn't stop me getting impatient 🤔

@Floralsandsmiles yes I'm good thanks. I will also be going for the 21 day test at the end of the week due to the spotting I have so fingers crossed that will be ok x

Sliding across from Nov thread also, decided this afternoon as 10DPO BFN and I was sick over my fertile window so only managed BD 2x not feeling hopeful.

No signs or symptoms so new POA for March - I am ready bring it on!

I am trying so new things this next cycle and I am looking forward to all of our BFPs ✨😉

O wow @Jennifer89 , I didn't know there was another test too? What is the second one? And when is that taken?
I won't be able to do my first test on CD21 as I ovulated on CD18. So will have to wait until I ovulate and then schedule the bloods for the 7th day after this? Do I count the 1st day as the one after ovulation? Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles it depends or your cycle so normal if not always day 21. My GP said 1 or 2 days either side of that is also fine..
The day 3 period test is to check ovarian egg reserve test. My period came 1 day earlier so I did it on day 4 but apparently days 2-5 of period should be fine.
My current GP mentioned this test but my last one 3 years ago didn't. It is worth asking about that also as fertility chances not just about progesterone levels..
Hopefully the tests can give you some peace of mind..

@Floralsandsmiles if you mention to GP you want to do day 3 period test then sure they will be able to refer you to get that blood test done also..

Aww OK, what's it called? A day 3 period test? Is it for AMH numbers? Thank you for the info in advance! Xxx
