Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

Maybe I’ll try to get to Sunday too @Peaceandloves . I’ll be 12 dpo by then and should hopefully get a clear answer one way or another! There is nothing worse than a squinter for me, I find that more difficult to deal with than a BFN. No creamy CM here either, just pretty dry really.

@Angelselevenx Ovulations buddies!! I totally get the POAS obsession 😂 I’m still using easyathome LH tests daily! I’m telling myself it’s just to make sure I ovulated when I think I did. I have PCOS and definitely get cycles where I think I’ve ovulated, but actually failed to do my body tries again after a week or two. But really it’s helping with the need to test for hCG, as silly as that sounds 🙈 Have you noticed any potential symptoms?

@Moriquendi this is only our second month TTC but I'm a nightmare, I can't help myself and then get disappointed! Are you tracking your BBT at all? I have seen LH get more positive when there is HCG in some cases!

I've been bloated and cramping, had intense pinching on 7dpo and I've got watery/creamy CM but to be honest I think they're just my AF symptoms as well! I'm due on Saturday. What about you, have you had any potential symptoms? I'm keeping track of my body temp as well but there hasn't been any major rises which some people get before their BFP.

@Angelselevenx Not currently tracking my BBT no. I've not looked into it much tbh.
Currently on CD12 which I know is early and according to Flo have entered my fertile period today. Not really expecting a positive opk yet but last month confused me!

I've attached my opks from last month. 'peak' was CD18 last month. Cycles seem to vary at the moment which isn't ideal 😅. Last one was 31 days.

@Floralsandsmiles I honestly don’t know - both my tests were done at the wrong time and said I wasn’t ovulating but I know that I am and the GP agrees. In a ‘normal’ cycle they say 7 days before your period starts, so perhaps work out where is halfway between O and period and go for that?

OH was too tired again last night. I’m afraid I’m currently childishly not speaking to him. He can spend half an hour sat in the bathroom looking at his phone but he’s too tired! I don’t think he realises we literally have about three days to hit the target and we’ve now missed one, potentially two. 😤

@Fallulah ahhh sorry lovely I would be sulking too. They really don't understand don't forget their education on the subject is probably something like you must wrap it up at all times it only takes once and you can get someone pregnant which in theory is true but the reality is a lot different. Could you sit him down and just sort of explain that really there's only a few days for the best possible chance and any other time he can be too tired

@RegardingPersephone I would suggest changing your OPKs to east @ home ones. They are much better than the ones your using

@Angelselevenx This is only my first month 😂 I’m stupidly hopeful this month as I’m coming off the coil and so am hoping that my body has more estrogen/ progesterone than normal, hence why I ovulated so fast instead of my normal 3 months after a period 🤞PCOS is just a pain!! Not testing BBT as still up all hours of the night with the 13 month old, lucky to get 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep!

Potential symptoms are cramping and pinching around 6 dpo and currently have sore nipples and am quite tired. Have you tested this morning?

Does anyone else struggle with BBT?

I started ‘properly’ this cycle and it’s all over the place! I’ve attached a photo but don’t see how it could be helpful. I’m pretty much doing it at the same time every day and i haven’t been drinking or anything. Is anyone else the same?

Previously I’ve been relying on resting heart rate on my Fitbit and that is so much easier I might just go back to that.

@Moriquendi good idea not tracking BBT with being up all hours, it would drive you insane 😅 I've got my fingers crossed for you! How long were you TTC your first?

I have, there's vvvvvfl on both IC tests but not going to get my hopes up yet until I see more of a line incase it's an evap or something even though it came up within the 3 minute window. Hard to get them on photo.

I'm 10dpo today I think!

@RegardingPersephone it's difficult getting to grips with it all isn't it, I'm only on cycle 2 of tracking OPK and BBT and the amount of questions I ask people is crazy 😂 people have so much knowledge on here though!

Definitely keep tracking OPK as it can vary month to month, I tend to get my peak on CD20 which means I ovulate on or around CD21 and my cycles are usually 31 days so I have a shorter luteal phase 😩

@Angelselevenx oooh I see that! Do you have any early tests? I would be whipping out a frer if I saw even a whiff of a line 😂

@Mushroo I knew someone that couldn't do BBT her chart was just all over the place it really didn't work for her. I would carry on with it for the month and see how it pans out as it's still early days. Are you doing it as soon as you wake up before anything? Also when you say pretty much the same time what is the difference are you talking like 10 mins?

@bringmearainbow I've only got clearblue ones and I've chucked my FMU away 😂 I'm trying so hard to not get my hopes up and not telling the OH yet as id want to surprise him. Maybe I'll just do a little Amazon prime order for FRER 🤣🤣

@Angelselevenx are they the early clear blue? Sorry I'm probably not helping with the getting your hopes up with my excitement 😂

FRER are down from £8.99 to £3.99 on Amazon for anyone who has a POAS obsession like me 🤪

@bringmearainbow yeah I've got the digital clearblue (won't do that one yet) and just checked I've got the blue dye ones that can tell 6 days before missed period but my LP is so short I don't know if it would show!

@Angelselevenx those are not early testing ones they are not as sensitive as the 6 day early ones if I remember right 🤔

@Angelselevenx Ooooh, I can see a potential line, even in the picture. Fingers crossed for tomorrow/ Sundays test! What’s it’s colour like in real life?

First baby took only 2 cycles but 7 months, first cycle Nov-March. Got the positive in June. So ovulating after only 3 weeks is very exciting 😂

@Angelselevenx do you know what sensitivity the IC you have are?

@bringmearainbow I think 10miu/ml? Is that sensitive? Do you know what the early clearblue or FRER are? You're getting me excited but I can't do that to myself yet 🤣😂

@Angelselevenx frer are 6.5 miu and early clearblue are 10miu. Ok no getting excited! That's a terrible evap you have there 😂 no more testing 🙅🏼‍♀️

@bringmearainbow we both know I'm gunna be testing with every single pee I have today 😂 probably go dehydrated so I have the most concentrated wee 😂😂

I've just taken another photo (sorry) and the top one was yesterdays and the bottom two this morning, I'm trying to not get the flash directly on the tests as it washes it out 🤔
