Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

@HannahLouD that is a fab line. As others have said, SMU for many is much better. Your line wouldn’t be darker if HCG wasn’t rising. Today you are pregnant, and comparing 10dpo and 12dpo, today you are more pregnant. Keep the faith my lovely

Mummyme87 · 30/03/2023 12:39

Those who have had positive OPK in the last day or so, when is AF due? I have a 12 day luteal phase so AF due 13th April

Angelselevenx · 30/03/2023 12:57

@Mummyme87 my LP is only 11 days and AF due on Saturday x

Me again guys (I'm so so sorry!) Feel like I need to take you all on this journey with me...
I stupidly did another test with smu and the line is much darker... Surely this is just a dodgey test!? There is no way at all it can change that much from 6am this morning to 10.30 this morning? Especially when there's been no progression in between?! I'm so confused and I'm stupidly getting my hopes up a tiny bit now... I'm sure they'll just come crashing back down in the morning when I test again though. I don't understand... It must just be a bad test! 😩🤦🏻‍♀️🙈 Really wish I should have bought frer again and not been so tight with my money haha
(10dpo-12dpo smu and 12dpo fmu and smu)

That's an amazing line for 12 DPO SMU, I'd honestly would stop testing now and wait for AF to arrive (although I am convinced you are pregnant) and then if she doesn't arrive then take a digital?

bringmearainbow · 30/03/2023 13:01

@Mummyme87 I'll be due on 12th I'm def an early tester though I won't be able to help myself 🙈

Mine is due on the 13th too

Mummyme87 · 30/03/2023 13:06

Also an early tester @bringmearainbow although I’m away until 9th April, so May end up doing a 10dpo cheapie.

lovely having lots of others in the TWW together @uop21

@Floralsandsmiles yes Redid my dates just now I had used the one @Angelselevenx sent from countdown website also so thanks for reminding me!

I was following mine before just fine but just tweaked to show changed ovulation date so now I plan on DTD tonight, Friday, Saturday and skipping Sunday finishing on Monday!

so same dates 🤞🏻🙌🏻

Unfortunately for DH - I wasn’t expected peak so soon, so we also DTD last night when I got the smile as I panicked and we also danced Tuesday 🤣

5/5 wasn’t the bloody plan but it is what it is, let’s see if I can manage this 😖

@HannahLouD … you got this, I’d stop testing for as long as you can. Tests can just vary and change and drive us insane!!! But a line is a line and they can’t tell us much more than that. Please try and enjoy and get excited I know that is so hard. But I’d say YOU are 100% pregnant, so step away and start looking at early scan bookings or bloods if it’s something you can afford! After 10 first responses, private appointments aren’t much anyway ha!!

Try to look to the next step because step one is complete 🤞🏻✨🤍
What will be will be try and enjoy the small stuff xx

My positive is today and AF is due on 15th, but I always spot before for about 6 stupid days. So I may well only have 9 day LP if this happens. I'm hoping this month I won't spot as early... xxx

Haha fair enough @lottieb92 , so we will be DTD on the same days then. My poor DH! Haha he is not going to be best pleased... haha xxx

Moriquendi · 30/03/2023 14:11

@HannahLouD Definitely think you’re pregnant 🥳 that’s a fab test for 12 dpo. I would also recommend stepping away from the tests. Pregnancy is an anxiety filled time, there is always something to worry about, try not to let it consume you.

With my first I was fine for the first 24 weeks, I kept thinking if anything bad happens there is nothing me or the hospital could do about it anyway! I also had no symptoms (no nausea, bloating, sore boobs etc) so had half convinced myself that it was just a mistake! However once the baby hit viability stage I really freaked out as then the midwives kept talking about the baby’s movement and to recognise the pattern and come in at once if I thought there were reduced movement. My baby never had a pattern!! The number of hours I lay in bed panicking 🤦‍♀️ it really sucked all the joy of out feeling the movements and I didn’t bond with the bump at all as I was convinced I would have still birth. (I didn’t, baby was born happy and healthy). My mental health really suffered and the stress definitely contributed to the postpartum anxiety I experienced after birth.

What that incredibly long winded story is supposed to say is please try not to worry, it will drive you insane! And if you feel it getting out of control, talk to your GP/ midwife when you get one- something I really wish I had done sooner. You have this. Keep believing.

Mummyme87 · 30/03/2023 14:15

Just tested again and test line definitely darker than earlier and darker than the control. Whoop

Mine too @Mummyme87 , I'm not 1.15 😊 . Now I'm wondering if to leave work and DTD before it starts dropping 🤣

@Floralsandsmiles The first time I did as I was told and went on day 21 - far too late. The second time I went on day 19 and it was still too late!

O no! Really? When would you go, if you were me @Fallulah ? Xxx

Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 30/03/2023 18:01

@HannahLouD I think the recent one is a great line. I know you are really anxious because of your previous experience but as others have suggested try and leave testing for a few days. Perhaps call your doctor and explain the situation and how anxious you are and see if they are willing to send you for a blood test to put your mind at rest. Xx

Mummyme87 · 30/03/2023 18:53

My OPK is getting stronger which is lovely to see ♥️♥️

Peaceandloves · 30/03/2023 18:56

Honestly @HannahLouD that's a good line. I really hope I have a line like that when I test this cycle.

Moriquendi · 30/03/2023 20:30

Day 9po and getting so itchy to take a test!! Held out so far (only managed by not having any tests in the house). I want to get to when my period is due but time is passing so slowly! I keep thinking I’ve having pregnancy symptoms as I have sore nipples and feel more tired than normal - but I have a teething breastfed 13 month old so it’s probably just that! Need to get a grip 😬

Peaceandloves · 30/03/2023 20:41

@Moriquendi I'm 7or 8 days dpo and feel exactly the same as you! I am usually test crazy but am trying to hold off until Sunday when I will be 10/11 dpo. AF due Tuesday but I know I will cave before then.

I'm not sure how hopefully I feel though as no symptoms (other than exhaustion but nothing new there!). I'm seeing people talk about having creamy cm when they got a positive but I have none of that I other :(

Angelselevenx · 30/03/2023 20:57

@Moriquendi you're a better person than me, I'm 9DPO and I've tested since 7dpo 😂 I told myself I wouldn't do it this month but here I am

RegardingPersephone · 30/03/2023 21:15

Started testing for ovulation again but still nothing! My lines are always so faint and i took a darker line as a positive last month but wasn't as dark as control. However my lines are always so faint so a darker one seemed so out of the norm that I assumed it was ovulation! Who knows.

Waiting to see if I get a more definite one this time. Trying to not get my hopes up as last month was a sad one with a false positive vvfl.

Angelselevenx · 30/03/2023 21:21

@RegardingPersephone do you track your BBT? What CD are you on and how long are your cycles normally?
