Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

I got a flashy smile again today and these are my sticks

However … Premom just shifted my predicted ovulation from CD17 to CD19!?
I have always been CD17/16 so I’m starting to panic ever so…

this SMEP is intense enough now I might be extending it 😖🤣 will test with a OPK later tonight and hope for more of a rise!! Still stuck on 0.35!

Thinking of you @HannahLouD I know it can be hard not to stress over these things when you just want answers. Make sure you’re looking after yourself!

Still no peak for me! Think this month will just be one of those weird cycles. I’m ill now too so DTD is unlikely!

lottieb92 · 29/03/2023 12:55

@HannahLouD they look so so similar to me
different fluid intake, hydration etc anything could have effect on tests, compare them 48 hrs apart like others have said or call GP and ask for bloods also if you can!? I know not all are as willing.

best of luck and try to stay relaxed you did nothing wrong!

bringmearainbow · 29/03/2023 13:13

@Mummyme87 @Angelselevenx CD17 is today just done another I think it's almost time peak will probably be tomorrow if body decide to follow it's normal pattern 🤞🏼

@Angelselevenx oh no hope you're ok!

@HannahLouD you got this lovely try not to worry too much about it which I know is impossible but a great thing to keep telling yourself is today you are pregnant and just take each day as it comes. You are stronger than you think and whatever the outcome you can do it

bringmearainbow · 29/03/2023 13:19

@Deni10 I can see that line looks like a positive to me. Might be too early for a digital what dpo are you?

lottieb92 · 29/03/2023 13:22

@Deni10 it is likely that the clearblue isn’t sensitive enough, are you testing early?
even The clear blue early digitals can be pesky!

I see something on your other test though 🤞🏻
stick to the pink dye tests until you’re late for AF

Deni10 · 29/03/2023 13:25

Thank you, the test attached came back faint pink so im confused and funny is after getting negative on clear blue i took the test apart and there were 2 blue lines one fainted one strong , going to doctors tomorrow morning, maybe it is early as I am due to get my menstruation next week

Deni10 · 29/03/2023 13:28

I am 9 dpo

lottieb92 · 29/03/2023 13:31

@Deni10 certainly looking promising then for only 9DPO! Any digital would struggle to pick up but that test again with a strip test tomorrow and next day!
GP might blood test for accuracy :)

tentative congrats

Mummyme87 · 29/03/2023 13:39

@Deni10 the pink dye test looks like it could be positive. Digitalis are a lot less sensitive so wait for a couple more days. Also the CB digital always have a second blue line whether positive or negative

Mushroo · 29/03/2023 13:58

AF finished today so I’ve decided to channel positive thoughts this cycle! Started my OPKs to get the hang of it and just going to look forward to the long Easter weekend.

We shall see if the ‘positive vibes’ works 😂

Moriquendi · 29/03/2023 14:03

@Deni10 I think it’s just a bit early. Very few people get a positive result on any test 9dpo and definitely not on a digital. Maybe try waiting until 12dpo? (Much easier said than done I know 😂). Maybe test on a cheapie as well, then you’re not tempted to dismantle it (I’ve read on here that dismantling it doesn’t help as they make the second line more obvious to get it to show through the casing 🤷‍♀️)

Beth191 · 29/03/2023 16:29

@HannahLouD I know everyone else has already said this but try not to count yourself out yet! Mine didn't get progressively darker like they're supposed to when I got my BFP with my first and having had chemicals I was worried about the exact same thing. Try to hold off on testing maybe because the stress definitely won't help anything (easier said than done I know!). Fingers crossed for you that it's not another chemical and af doesn't make an appearance for you but if it is...it's not your fault. I know you think drinking won't have helped but you and any potential embryo wouldn't even be sharing a blood supply at that point, there's absolutely no chance that it's because of anything you've done so try to be kind to yourself.

Jennifer89 · 29/03/2023 17:44

On 4th day of more spotting, feeling nauseous today especially in the morning..🤔maybe could be..
Going to hold off testing and see if AF due Friday.

emmatcc1 · 29/03/2023 17:47

I think I'm 1 dpo today. Is ovulation marked on the day of ovulation dip or the first rise?

Angelselevenx · 29/03/2023 18:06

@emmatcc1 do you have a photo of your graph? Ovulation is confirmed from the rise of your temp

emmatcc1 · 29/03/2023 21:43

@Angelselevenx I tried tracking bbt for the first time this cycle so I'm using a regular thermometer just to see if it's something if want to regularly do. On the 22nd it's probably so high because I forgot and measured later in the morning. I was thinking it must be ovulation because of the drop also my cervix is hard and closed today, yesterday it was still slightly open.

Floralsandsmiles · 30/03/2023 06:53

Morning ladies! Got my static smile this morning, but cheapy doesn't look like peak.. premom says its only 0.47 (it was 1.40 at peak last month).. anyways CB stick is clearly darker than control and I know they are more sensitive. So maybe cheapy will grow through the day.
Anyways this is great news as is CD15 today as last month O was on CD18.
Should I count tomorrow as O and book bloods 7 days from tomorrow? So Friday? As that's bank holiday and I don't think anywhere should be open?? Or do I book for Thursday?? I don't want to mess the bloods up! Xxx

Fallulah · 30/03/2023 07:10

@Floralsandsmiles I got Mr Static Smiley this morning too! OH is not being particularly cooperative - we’re both tired and he’s saying he feels the pressure when he knows! So we’ll see. I think we might have missed out this month already unless I can get him to do it three days in a row from today!

I would book the bloods early rather than late I think, but I’ve never been able to get them right - both times my period has arrived about two days after the blood test, which means I had it too late. I think if I had to do it again I’d work out where was about half way between O and period, and book that day. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mummyme87 · 30/03/2023 07:35

@Floralsandsmiles cheapie May pick up throughout the day. I would probably do bloods as late in the day as possible on the Thursday I think rather wait until the week after. How long is your luteal phase?

hopefully will get my peak on OPK today. Cant believe I’m still waiting for it at CD14! The benefit is DTD more. Travelling to my mams house on Saturday then to a friends house on Sunday for a few days so our opportunities to DTD will be dwindling!

HannahLouD · 30/03/2023 07:44

Hi all,

Unfortunately it's another chemical... There's no change at all in 48 hours 💔 I'm trying really hard not to blame myself but I'm finding it really difficult not to. Hadn't had a drop of alcohol for a month and the day before my bfp I go and blow it... I know nothing was connected or anything but I can't imagine basically poisoning my body could have done any good... I'm so not having any more in this ttc journey so I don't feel this horrible guilt again.

Onto our fourth month of trying, and hopefully next time I get my bfp it'll be third time lucky and will finally be a sticky one 🤞🙏😞
I really hope no one else has been through this or similar, but if they have and have any success stories after 2 losses (find it a bit difficult calling these losses as they were sooo early... Last one was only at 5 weeks so feel a bit like a fraud saying it) but please do let me know! I'm starting to worry now and give up hope... x

Lastly things I've learnt these past 3 months that may or may not be of help to anyone...

  • Opk peaks - Having a "strong" peak opk means nothing... I had one that was basically only just as strong as the control line and got pregnant, I also had one much stronger than the control line and got pregnant.
  • How "strong" the line is on the first bfp you get doesn't nessecarily mean anything. I got a vvfl at 10dpo last month which progressed really well for a few days. This month I got a fairly obviously line at 10dpo which hasn't progressed at all.
  • Symptoms - they can be different everytime so don't rule yourself out if you don't feel the same as you did in a previous pregnancy.
  • BBT charting - mine have looked very different for both chemical pregnancies and looked different the first month trying too (when I didn't fall) so don't pin everything on that! The only pattern I have seen is that I personally have a dip in temperature the day before ovulation. Never had an implantation dip or anything.
  • Easy at home strips (opks) defo pick up a pregnancy! This has happened to me twice. Even this morning the test line is wayyy darker than the control line.
  • The pregnancy test easy at home strips are really slow at progressing, but both times for me have still shown some minor progression even when having a cp. This is the same if using opks as well (I know you shouldn't!) This has happened to me both months.

Thank you so much again to everyone for your love and support! I really appriciate it!

Good luck and baby dust to everyone ❤️✨

@Fallulah aww no that OH isn't being cooperative, sometimes they can feel the pressure too can't they!
Well say the standard O is CD14 and then they ask for these bloods as CD21, that would mean I am a day after that, so CD15 and needing bloods CD22... and that's Thursday! Lol woohoo!
Luteal ohade isn't the longest as I spot. Last month I made 9DPO before spotting.. that's the reason for the tests. But they are adamant to have it be 7 days after O. So will book for Thursday I think.. xxx

Hi @Mummyme87 as I said below I think CD22 is when I need to do bloods as following the standard Cd14 and then Cd21 bloods. I'm CD15, so CD22? That's Thursday! Woohoo! Reason for the bloods is LP isn't the longest and I only got to 9DPO last month.. so need to get this right...
Aww I didn't get my peak until CD18 last month! Cd14 isn't bad honey..get the BDing in as much as possible xxxx
