Hi everyone,
Thought I'd create a new thread as the TTC Oct and Nov we're so helpful to me :) There were so many BFPs in the Nov group so statistics doing their thing there will be lots of BFPS in this Dec thread too which is super exciting.

Im currently on CD3 of my 5th cycle TTC #2.

@HannahLouD it just goes to show we can never fully rely on our symptoms can we 😅. Oh yes of course, have you told your OH? Eek!😊

Here's my graph from this AM. I had intense stabbing/pinching last night but nothing really today so not sure what that was. 🤞🏼

@Angelselevenx true! I shouldn't have counted myself out so early 🤦🏻‍♀️ I also now that literally every pregnancy is different! I'm just so scared I've done damage and I'll have another chemical. But I know I need to try to just put that behind me... What's done is done and what will be will be. 🙄🙈
I have told him, yes... He's told me he's not getting excited or getting his hopes up until the 12 week scan 😅😂 I get it... I'm not going to let myself get excited for a few more weeks yet... If I get that far of course! 🤞

It's looking good! Got my fingers crossed for you! I'm hoping I'll have a slight rise again in the morning as that's what happened last month... But again, I guess this time could be completely different! It's all just a waiting game.
When are you planning on starting testing?x

so i was totally expecting a peak OPK today but still low like 0.3-0.4. Very odd, hope I bloody ovulate

@HannahLouD are you going to book an early scan in a few weeks or wait until the NHS scan? I'm so excited for you, don't worry about last night honestly, just try to enjoy this as much as possible!

It really is, my temp was 36.68 this morning so I can't imagine it would go any higher? Or would it I have no idea haha. I did a test today 7DPO and stark white no line at all but it's v early. 5 days til AF due 😬 x

posting my chart below. It was quite a steep drop yesterday, and come up a little today but I’ve woken up with a cold so could be to do with that.

LP is usually 11-13 days, never longer than 13. So surprising to be on day 15.

My Flo and premom apps (yes I use 3 apps 😆) think I ovulated a day later though, as my OPK peak was really short and sharp this month. So I’m probs 14.5DPO lol.

Hi ladies, would you say this is now my peak?

Thank you so much for all of the love and support yesterday, but unfortunately my biggest fear has happened... My test this morning is lighter than yesterday's... I knew I'd messed things up. So annoyed and disappointed in myself. Second chemical in a row now... :( That'll teach me for drinking before knowing for absolute sure... x

@HannahLouD I honestly think the test lines look the same darkness. Hormone levels double every 48 hours I believe so I know it's easier said than done but try and hold off testing until tomorrow and you might feel reassured xx

@Peaceandloves @Tryingtoconceivenumber2 thank you, but in person the one this morning is lighter... I know the one from yesterday has completely dried but I was really hoping to see at least a bit of progression??... there was a massive jump in progression last month from 10-11dpo so I'm not holding out much hope... Maybe I'm being a bit premature in my suspicions but it's what happened last month and with the drinking I just feel like I'm doomed! 🙄X

@HannahLouD perhaps don't test again and see what happens. I know it's easier said than done. I haven't done a line test since 10DPO as I knew I would be panicking about the lines. So many things can influence the strength of your wee unless and like someone else said at the moment low levels are doubling only every 48 hours so going from 10 to 20 say maybe no show much. It is hard, I'm 5 weeks now and still worried a lot x

@HannahLouD I agree with the other ladies, I think both tests look the same to me.. but i would wait a day or so and test again xxx

@bringmearainbow how's your FW going haha? My temps stayed the same today, 7/8dpo today depending on which app I look at 😅 did a test but BFN 😩

@HannahLouD agree with everyone the lines look the same darkness to me! Try to distract yourself and do something that relaxes you then test again tomorrow or the next day. Let us know how you get on. We'll be thinking of you xx

@HannahLouD I know from comparing opks it's just not possible unless they are both dry, the colour and intensity changes so much once they are dry.
Also these tests are not designed to show quantity, just the presence of the hormone, so it could mean absolutely nothing at all even before you factor in stuff like did you drink more water, was there longer before fmu, all these things can affect how much hcg is actually deposited on the stick and has nothing to do with how the pregnancy is progressing. With the tiny amount of hcg we are talking at 10dpo compared to in a few weeks it's really easy for there to be no progression in what you can see on the stick, with all these unknown variables.
Easier said than done, I know, but try to relax. Don't worry about the drink at all, one night of a few large glasses isn't going to have made the difference between this little bean sticking or not.
The waiting is the worst and it never stops, you wait for O day, then the 2ww, and now this - be kind to yourself, you're doing really well and the anxiety is hard I know.
Please be kind to yourself, take a bit of time for some self-care if you can x

@Angelselevenx it's going well so far we dtd Sunday and last night. I got excited yesterday because my morning opk was a little higher but it went back down to super low throughout the day 🙄 it's teasing me again this morning with a bit of a higher reading so I'll see how it progresses today as to whether we dtd tonight or leave it until Thursday. I hope it progresses tbh as then it's one less day but I'm probably not that lucky 😂 ahhh 8dpo still early I know it doesn't seem like it but there is honestly such a small small percentage of women that get a positive at 8dpo. You found anything to distract you?

@HannahLouD the lines look the same to me. I wouldn’t compare yet. Hold out a couple of days before retesting if you can

I’m CD13, OPK is higher today so far 0.5 so maybe will start going up today. hopefully it’s a good thing, thicker lining, OH is home this evening so have more opportunities for sex 💪🏻

@Mummyme87 were both being teased 🙄 usually if mine goes above 0.3 it means the start and it peaks the next day but alas not this cycle 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm glad yours has held off for hubby a return!

@bringmearainbow and the same for me, once I get the 0.3s it normally continues up. So bloody weird. Never had this before

@bringmearainbow CD17 looks as though it's almost there colour wise is that todays? I'd keep testing today, my peak normally comes in the evening as well.

I'm at the gym and I've had to stop as I felt as though I was about to pass out! I've definitely eaten enough as I eat the same every day before the gym, could be AF coming or could hopefully be something else! Also have a lot of CM 🤞🏼😩

Hi all thank you so much for all of your love and support... It really, genuinely means a lot! 💕
My first test yesterday was with smu so after my slightly lighter fmu test this morning, I (stupidly) tested again with a 3.5 hour hold with smu... There is no doubt that this would have been concentrated as I didn't have a drink all morning so I could see (so the last time I had a drink before both my tests this morning was last night!) And it's even lighter than my test with fmu... I'm going to try not to test for a couple more days (if AF doesn't arrive before then!) And stop comparing tests just 24 hours apart. I know in my heart this is going to be another chemical though... The past couple of days I finally had some creamy cm and I'm not back to dry and my sore/tingly nipples have gone too.
We shall see... Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Thanks again everyone... This has been a lifeline!x

(Super dark opk though 😅 - I can absolutely hands down say they pick up pregnancy as the same thing happened last month too! Not that I recommend using them as a pregnancy test, of course 🙈)
