Hey everyone!

Is anyone else trying TTC #1?

I think I’m 9DPO although my cycles vary from 28-34 days so I’m really not sure. This is my first cycle TTC so I haven’t tracked ovulation.

I took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning and BFN, I’ve heard digitals aren’t as accurate, is that true? (The way the test was laid and how I was sat meant the ‘not’ was in the shadow so for a second I thought it just said pregnant, was gutted!)

Any advice on not driving yourself mad during the TWW? 😂

@mum2liam1 I can definitely see lines on those pictures! What dpo are you?

@Nmmck93 that's strange! I know some people do say they sometimes have a bleed but then get a bfp. Did you take another test today in the end ? Fingers crossed for you :)

@FlyingHighFlyingLow @Piglet34 - took a test first thing this morning BFN. Last nights test was a strange one. Maybe just a faulty test as they are super cheap ones.
lets hope for a BFP next month.

Hi all, this is my first post on mumsnet. I'm 32 and been TTC currently in TWW of cycle 3. I had no idea how emotionally draining this would be

@Piglet34 oh I’m so sorry! Was really routing for you ☹️ my OPK finally got a bit darker yesterday so hoping todays will be my peak, being ill is definitely making this cycle longer 😭

@Kaspery8 this cycle 3 for me too! I was honestly so naive and just thought it’d happen straight away, totally agree it’s emotionally draining isn’t it!

I'm still not convinced yet till I get clearblue as where I had the chemical it's still so worrying , but happy with the progression line so far , do u think it look like a normal progression

@kalixxx good news that your OPKs are getting darker now. I'm crossing my fingers for you it comes in the next few days! Is your sickness easing off now or still feeling rubbish?

Im 11dpo today and my brown spotting seems to have pretty much gone today and yday, still a few drops but nothing compared to what I had on 7/8/9 dpo. No sign of AF yet but due thurs/fri. I noticed lower back pains when doing yoga this morn but could be from anything I guess! Trying not to get my hopes up symptom spotting too much.

@Kaspery8 welcome ✨ yeah it's totall draining. TWW is the worst as you just feel in limbo. Lead up to ovulation I don't mind as much can kind of resume normal life which is nice aha.

Last month I had everything! Tiredness, nausea, cramps, spotting, metal mouth, reflux - but my DH also had the same (bar cramps) because we had the same virus 😂. I'm 6dpo today and I have zero symptoms of anything. Then again, I'm not holding out much hope as DH got sick again so we had sex 2 days before my peak (so I guess 3 days before ovulation) then not again until 2dpo.

@Piglet34 think I got my peak yesterday evening! I still feel a bit rubbish but a lot better than last week ☺️

ahh fingers crossed the spotting was from implementation! It’s impossible not to symptom spot isn’t it, anything slightly out the ordinary I’m like could this be be it?! Am I pregnant?! 😭

@FlyingHighFlyingLow isnt it so unfair how our body plays tricks on us! Last month I had the most sensitive and painful nipples which I never get so I was convinced I must be pregnant, I of course wasn’t 🥲

@FlyingHighFlyingLow I tested this morn 12dpo and was a bfn :( so think im most likely out this month! Good luck with the rest of your TWW when are you planning to test?

@kalixxx wahooo glad you got your peak :) I know the symptom spotting drives me crazy, every time I say I'm not going to and then it's just natural to do it! Can't decide about trying next cycle as I would be due Christmas Eve. I know babies will come when they want to but it's quite likely to be sometime close to Xmas or early jan. Seems annoying to skip a month though so can't decide what to do!

@Piglet34 I've got my fingers crossed for you that this could be your cycle for a BFP. I'm also due for AF Thurs/Fri.

It's reassuring to hear from everyone on this thread the hypersensitivity to symptom spotting. I got a BFN on an early test Tuesday, trying to convince myself into holding off the next test until Saturday if no AF at that point. But not convinced my willpower will hold out 😅

@Piglet34 it’s hard isn’t it! If this isn’t my cycle it’ll mean with my next cycle I’ll most likely be due 2nd January and we’re away for new years so really not ideal! 😂 Maybe like you said have a really relaxed approach and just not try with like tracking and everything but also not prevent if you feel like DTD.

I’m presuming I’m 1 DPO from today and I can already feel this TWW is gonna drag 😭

AF arrived for me a day or so early so that's me out for this cycle. I was convinced this was the one 🙄
Anyway, on to the next one, I think we'll carry on trying as before even with the potential for a Christmas week due date.

I'm 7DPO today and I feel so negative already😂😂 I'm also super grumpy and feel like PMS is kicking in so I don't have high hopes for this month lol.

I’m only 2 DPO and already feeling negative! 😂 This is only cycle 3 TTC so I know it’s still early days but I’ve convinced myself it won’t happen for us, a little ridiculous I know! Hopefully it’s not PMS and just a bad mood 😂

I know what you all mean about feeling out before it's even begun but this thread is due some more luck so I am really crossing my fingers for you all!! 🤞🏻

AF due tomorrow for me, not showed yet but am still spotting (weirdly only in the evening no clue what that's about!) Think I will test tomorrow morn at 15dpo, expecting a bfn given the result at 12dpo but DH goes away for 10 days from tomoz eve so I need answers ahaha

AF has officially arrived for me so on to the next cycle it is!

Just gave in and tested at 10 dpo, zero symptoms, just thought I would in case as I'm supposed to be going out tonight. Can anyone else see something? 😱😱😱
