sorry to hear that hula. Happened to me last Christmas & I was so gutted, much more than I thought I would be.

How's the house purchase coming along?

bonniej · 10/12/2004 21:42

sorry for you hulababy x. The same thing happened to me in London. I was getting on a bus with ds and my buggy and a man offered to carry my buggy on the bus for me, but then got off straight away. He'd taken my purse! It was ages ago but it's still horrible. especially this time of year.

Hulababy · 10/12/2004 21:46

House move is at a halt at moment too. Our sale of our apartment is still going ahead, which is the most important bit. But we had to pull out of house we were buying. the survey showed up too many problems - was oging to be too much monet, time and work for us to deal with. Going to look at plans for some brand news houses tomorrow which sound very promosing. We can rent some nice places in same area too until they are ready.

The thing I hate most about the theft of my wallet is the hassle I now have because of some inconsiderate scumbag. I now have np cards to use for shopping for about 7 days. DH's credit card is also now useless. Luckily his cash card is still okay to use, so at least we do have access to some money. Not great at this time of year.

But, as policeman said, nothing I could have done to prevent this. I'd already been quite safety conscious as it was. Theyw ent in a zipped up, tucked away pram bag whilst I was holding the pushchair. Still have no idea how he could have done it - scary in that sense.

Tania2 · 10/12/2004 21:59

Have a good w/end girls

fastasleep · 10/12/2004 23:52

Aww sorry Hula! Sad and you too tania! I will probably go to the docs on Monday, still no sign of anything - this isn't meeee! I don't have endo, I can't..not ovulate and stop having periods, I can't be infertile, I'm 17! My periods where regular even when breastfeeding!! Sad aaaAAAaaahh lol... I just want to moan cos it's the hubby's (first) xmas do and he's driving me up the wall already and not even home yet, the arse lol

jingleballs · 10/12/2004 23:59

FS - u there hon? don't worry about it this late at night! how old is DH if u don't mind me askin?

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:07

hello late gang Grin

I've just got in from the ballet (how cultured am I? Grin) and thought I'd just check in.

So sorry to hear about your bag hula Sad but glad you and dd are ok.

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:09

FS - poor you Sad I would be completely demented by now if I were you. It's so hard to know what's going on in our bodies sometimes. When was the last time you tested? Remind me again, how late are you?

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:09

He's 29 soon to be bloody deceased! Sorry PMT's getting the better of me, it's been getting worse since then 1st lol..

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:10

Hope you liked the ballet :o.... I'm 11 days late almost to the minute lol, usually I'm strangely bang on the same day every month (sounds odd but I always have been) sigh

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:11

my dh is at his work's do too (certainly not his first lol). Not expecting him to fall in for at least another hour and then I will no doubt have the joy of whisky breath and Stella snores. Oh joy!

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:11

when i said first xmas do i meant first of many this year.. lol.. ok i'm going to shut up now, till someone else starts gabbing!

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:14

I loved the ballet! Haven't been since I was about 10 but it was fab. Swan Lake - v. sad, had a little weep at the end Blush but some very funny parts and lots of half naked muscley blokes doing camp dancing wearing feathers - honest!

11 days...poor you...I don't want to drive you further into insanity but have you tested recently?

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:16

Aww whiskey breath! Can't be worse than yucky lager breath can it? DH promised not to drink lager anymore as it's ruining his health totally now (he has a 9 month + sized bump and horrible heartburn every night etc) but he promptly forgot my tearful plea and the promise the next day and had a 4 pack of carlsberg before I even came in the room and noticed! Sad

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:16

I tested this morning, god seems like days ago already... clearblue BFN...

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:16

oops Blush - I'll blame the lateness for my stupid brain...it is that time of year isn't it? Have you got any to go to?

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:19

oh don't worry there will have been lager first! ikwym about health though - my DH drinks more than I would like and I'm encouraging him to have 2 drink free days a week but start of party season was the wrong time to start. He did last week but this week he hasn't and we have 2 parties tomorrow and an early christmas dinner on Sunday so no chance there! Oh well, there's always the new year...

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:19

I already went on a sort of mini mumsnet party Blush lol... from the 'meet up's section... they're my only friends! :o

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:21

I would definitely go to the docs on Monday if I were you. There's nothing to lose and they may help to put your mind at rest.

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:21

I tried just asking dh to drink wine in the pub/bar at lunch time, a glass of wine and a glass of fizzy water has to be better for him - and he doesn't mind but he just 'forgets'. Or wine is too expensive or whatever else Wink

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:22

cool - was it good? I haven't been on a meet up yet - hoping for the ttc one in the new year! there's one in my area today or tomorrow I think but I couldn't make it.

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:22

I think I'm going to go wait in bed with a coathanger to shove up his naughty drunken....Shock

fastasleep · 11/12/2004 00:24

It was cool! Liked all the girls there, had met most already though, didn't drink, just nibbled on the food and babbled for britain, good fun :) hope you get to one!! And that your hubby doesn't snore in your ear all night/ breathe on you.... unless the breath knocks you out enough for you to sleep next to him :o

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:24

lol about 'forgets' - that's exactly what DH does with his 'drink free' days and, oh look, all of a sudden the week's over!

RudyDudy · 11/12/2004 00:26

think I'd better go and get to sleep before he gets in or I will have to listen to his random babbling and snoring and I won't get any. And I'm up in the morning...

Hope your DH doesn't disturb you too much!

Catch you later
