yep - this is my first persona month. cycles usually around 34/35 days so another 10 days waiting for me...yawn...yawn...

where's home for you?

I have all my family around on Sunday for an early Christmas dinner as my brother is away for Christmas. It will be lovely but hectic - eldest brother will come with 3 nieces (and DW!) which will make the house feel like there are about 20 kids in it!

lol, exactly rudy, exactly, he seems to think he is.. but it's not like we haven't sent him out ahem... (whispers educational reading materials :o)

home is Portsmouth ahhhh the land of sea air, open top busses and bad traffic! lol. ooh some good shops as well!

sounds lovely. I once went on a sailing holiday in Portsmouth (well, not the town itself obviously!) - had a fab time. Enjoy yourself.

twiga - hav heard about 'union st' in aberdeen thats a bit like oxford st in London? right enof?
i would imagine that there must be a nice port, or industrial rather in Aberdeen with all that trading.never been there althou i would hav liked to see what kind of rigging they do.but may not be in Aberdeen really , more like around North Sea rite enof

Cockenzie, Union St may well have been like Oxford St in it's hay day, not sure it's a comparison i would draw now, but it's nice - mile long st with shops on either side - big store called E&M at one end which is similar to Jennars in Edinburgh. Big harbour area, ferries out to various place etc most of the rigging is off shore - wouldn't see it from Aberdeen, don't know much about the oil trade I'm afraid.

Only one more sleep until my dh is back from overseas! My little people are so excited that I doubt I will get a word in edge-wise until they are fast asleep. Too bad we are staying at my parents house until after New Years...

Good morning girls....Well still no sign of af was really expecting it today leave in a couple of hours for our weekend away in a way i hope it arrives b4 we leave. S**t fastalseep you really must be doing your head in its only been a day or so for me and a BFN and i think iam going crazy keep going to the loo to check. Grrrrrrrrr so frustrating.

canda you must be so excited i remember when dh went to the states ds and i got gastro the night he left was extreamly sick for the whole two weeks he was away. couldnt wait for dh to come home i couldnt sleep a wink the night b4 missed him so much.

jingleballs- not sure on cycle lenght as only had one period since having mirena coil out. Havnt had AF visit for 7 years. so my first visit last month was quite a shock as you can imagine. i forgot how mean she can be.

as for the ovulation date i went on a regular 28 day cycle. but made sure by having sex every other day throughout month to make sure. I have not testing tonight and cant tomorrow morning as i work nights so i will be weeing althrough night anyway. As for signs i dont know what to look for really. I have put down my erect nipples down to cold weather...lol.
on night shift sat too so i am looking at monday morning. what you reckon. thats if AF doesnt come on sat.

Just been doing my Christmas tree, so feeling quite cheery, and opened the first of the crate of wine Dh had delivered today from a client. Very nice it is too.

Makes me feel better after horrid experience in town - had my wallet and purse stolen by some scum bag :( But al least me and DD are okay and were oblivious at the time.
