I had my first flashing smile yesterday but didn’t dtd. I’m not feeling well as I have an awful cold…but really need to find the energy tonight!

My period will be due around 11th Jan. could be before or after as my cycle lengths vary by a few days.

Me! My fertile week is this week and my day is meant to be Friday (I don't do ovulation testing so just going by an app)

Yesterday and today I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a car, honestly. Migraine, back ache and cramping, nausea, stomach cramps, no energy, a stuffy nose and feeling under the weather in general. The only day we haven't DTD was Monday.

My period should be 13th Jan - I came off the pill roughly 6 to 7 weeks ago and I'm hoping my cycles are still roughly 28 days!

I am :) had my static smiley face yesterday and non digital OPK been positive today and yesterday, AF due 10th Jan (although AF due date can vary)

Me! I should ovulate on the 31st and my period would be due on the 11th Jan. I had a chemical last month though, so I hope it hasn't messed with my cycle too much.

I'm doing the same as last month, so basically DTD every other day/every 3 days from CD 8 onwards.

It says my ovulation day is Friday, however today I've had some seriously sharp pains in my left side and my nipples are sensitive and my boobs in general are itchy... do you think I could be ovulating today 🤔

Sorry I'm all out of sync with it all, been on the pill for 4 years previous to this and it completely messed my body up 🤦🏼‍♀️

@anon1411 i sometimes think I experience ovulation pain in the side I’m ovulating from! So potentially! DTD if you can! I was on the pill for about 11 years before I stopped the pill around March 21! I didn’t understand anything about the female body/ovulating etc! I was clueless xx

@CZ9294 Thanks! Aw, glad you got your rainbow baby so soon 🌈 this was my first pregnancy so it came as a bit of a shock when I started bleeding at 5 weeks. Keeping positive this cycle! Sorry to hear you're not feeling great, hope you feel well enough to DTD this eve!

@anon1411 It could definitely be ovulation! I get ovulation pain every month. For me, it feels like a one-sided, sharp cramping feeling. It usually lasts a few hours, and feels quite sharp when I go to sit down. Last cycle, I DTD on the evening of this pain and I did fall pregnant (despite it not having a good outcome this time!) So get busy!! 🙂

Yes @SillyOldBear3 that's exactly how it felt earlier. Didn't last long at all, maybe on and off for less than an hour hut was very sharp and uncomfortable. We have been DTD every to every other day anyway (much more in the mood since stopping the pill) so will definitely be doing it tonight 🤞

I'm sorry it didn't have a good outcome for you, I've been there 3 times before 🥺⭐️

@anon1411 yep, the app will take a while to get your cycle predictions right. It does sound like you are ovulating. Have you tried tracking CM?
DTD every day sounds like you are in with a good chance this month!

Yeah its my first month using the app so just gave me a few dates to keep in mind that's all.
I haven't tried tracking it no, however I did think about it 🤔

Yes I'm very lucky to have a little boy, he's just turned 4. I had a miscarriage about 18 months before he was born, then another when he was about 2 and a half, then I had a MMC back in September- which happened while I was on the pill so wasn't trying at all. After having the MMC it made me and my partner realise we really do want to try for another.

Hello, I will join you! Also due AF on the 11th Jan, had my peak opk on cycle day 12 so DTD day of peak and day after, didn’t manage day before so I’m not sure. What days do people normally try? It’s my first month trying opks, third cycle of trying.

Hi @WilllowStar I can't help on the OPK front as I have never used them, but it sounds like good timing if you DDT on day of peak! Hope it's 3rd time lucky for you!

I'm only on my 4th cycle TTC but it already feels like forever, especially after this month's loss. I'm hoping there's some truth to the 'you're more fertile after a chemical/MC' theory!

@WilllowStar would love to be TWW buddies 🙂 I'm also so bad for early testing! Last month I got my first faint positive at 10dpo. AF due 11th but that's only if I ovulate on CD18, I'm not sure if my body will bounce right back or not! I always know when I ovulate because of the cramps. Will keep you updated! How many DPO are you?

@SillyOldBear3 i think I’m 1 or 2 dpo according to the strips, I got my peak quite early I think on day 12. I’m going to try and hold out as long as I can before testing. We are busy next few days visiting family etc which will keep me busy hopefully! Ovulation should be quite soon for you then?

@WilllowStar i try to dtd whenever I have the energy! I try not to aim for set days within the fertile window as I find the pressure on myself makes it more frustrating and stressful. But ideally I’d say aim for every other day in your fertile window!

I usually cave and test around 9/10DPO. It’s so hard trying to wait until a missed period. Xx

We try to DTD every other day after AF is over and then every day once flashing smileys appear until a day or two after static smiley appears. 8 months so far and so far no BFP. I’ve switched to non digital OPKs this cycle and have gotten 2 days of positive now so I think I may have been not DTD for as long as we should have … feel like I’m studying for a degree the amount of new information I’m learning about my body haha

@CAA121 oh my goodness I know it’s a lot to wrap your head around isn’t it, Im hoping to have caught it this month but we shall see! When are you due AF?

@WilllowStar due 10th/11th Jan but my cycles can vary between 23 and 31 days so who knows haha. Think I’ve read you’re due same sort of time, fingers crossed for our BFPs!

Sorry if this is TMI... 😳
But after yesterday possibly being my Ovulation Day. Me and my partner DTD, however it felt really uncomfortable and its never usually like that... it just felt extremely crampy and stabby internally 😭 then this morning I've got a super dull ache all around my lower abdomen and my lower back.

Is this typical during ovulation? Can DTD feel more uncomfortable?

@anon1411 I occasionally get this on the day of ovulation! Sex can be a bit uncomfortable, almost like a 'bruised' feeling and like it's too deep (ha tmi also!). You'll probably find that next time is completely fine! Not sure why it happens though 🤔

@SillyOldBear3 yes thats exactly it, felt very bruised! 😳 I mean as much as it was uncomfortable at least I know its because I was ovulating for sure 🤣🤞 heres hoping to a good outcome

@WilllowStar I would prefer to ovulate a bit earlier like you! Mine is usually day 18 (in 2 days time) and I have a fairly short luteal phase of 10 or 11 days. Good you have some distractions, always helps to pass the 2ww!

First month trying clear blue digital tests this month. Got a negative circle Tuesday, flashing smiley on Wednesday and then a stuck smiley today. AF due on 15th. Would be interesting to see how many days I’m fertile for given I’ve gone from low fertility, high fertility to peak fertility in 3 days!
