1DPO - Testing buddies? 😄

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is 1DPO today... I got a peak ovulation test on CD14 and CD15, today is CD16, so I am around 1DPO. We DTD CD13 & CD14, so I am hoping the sperm stuck around a couple of days!

Just wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as me and wants to chat during their TWW 🙂

Hi guys, just catching up with all the messages. God 12 week scan to 28 weeks that’s a shock for the system isn’t it!! I have a pretty demanding job so actually when I am at work I’m not thinking about it too much. What does everyone else do? May as well pass the time getting to know eachother! I got in from work tonight and my little one was jumping on my belly and I was like don’t do that!! Hahaha I’m only 2dpo…. When it does happen I’m going to be neurotic!! I think with my first I was 10dpo when I took my first test and got a positive. Anyone else got older children, when did they test? Honestly it’s bonkers what we put ourselves through isn’t it!!!

@Nic2908 Me too re work - I'm a hospital doctor and working 25 hrs this weekend. Normally I feel a bit grim about weekends but at least I'll be distracted from the 2ww.
I have a 1yo and a 2yo already so this will be our last. I didn't test til about a day before AF with my first as we were actually planning to start officially ttc the following month as we were getting married that month and I'd just come off the pill in anticipation. Started feeling sick the day after the wedding but put it down to all the stress. Teated a couple days after and was positive.
My 1yo I was ttc actively for a couple months and frantically tested from 5dpo. Got a faint positive 7dpo and a darker one 8dpo. Was surprised it was so early but maybe ovulated sooner that month. That or he was just eager to bed in!

What do you do? Any other babies?

@LAgeDeRaisin I am a ward manager, so fully respect what you mean about the 25 hour weekend!! My little one is two next month. Can’t believe that time has gone so fast it’s crazy isn’t it!! How did your eldest take to becoming a sibling?? I’m not sure how My little boy is going to adapt at all.

She has her moments but on the whole is pretty good. Although today she locked her brother in "jail" behind the stair gate after he dared to involve himself in her jigsaw.

Not sure if it'd be trickier or easier with an older child/bigger gap. Our gap is only 18m so I doubt she remembers much of the good old days being the solo star of the show.

Still bleeding, not really a period, mainly there when I wipe.
Couldn't resist testing as wanted to make sure no line today but I think it looks darker than previously and there is colour to the 2nd line. I’m 5 days into bleeding/spotting now.
This is torture.

That does look like a positive to me!

If you're worried (completely understand due to the bleeding as it's always scary) could you ask your GP for some advice?

@MrsLaura89 well it's definitely a bfp!! Is the bleeding just light? What colour is it?

@overthinkersanonnymus the bleeding has been pink on wiping and occasionally a dark red but not like period red. It only seems to be darker after I’ve been straining a little.
I'm getting twinges and the odd stabby and shooting pain but nothing that feels like period.
I had bleeding the whole pregnancy last time due to a haematoma that occurred at implantation but I don’t recall it being as much as this.
I keep getting groin twinges, what’s that about?!

@monsteramunch as for seeing the GP..they won’t do much unless the bleeding carries on and on or I have bad pain, then I’d get referred.

AF is due at anytime, I guess if I start properly bleeding then maybe it was a pregnancy that just didn’t stick?

@LAgeDeRaisin we are tempted to ttc for a 3rd but very much on the fence. Was it a hard decision or you definitely knew you wanted another. I’m completely torn, heart says go for it and head says don’t 😬

I've still got nagging back ache and random twinges in my abdomen. These were my first symptoms with my last pregnancy, it was due to implantation and my corpus luteum! Few more days and I can test, want this weekend to go as quick as possible! 😬😂

Ahh I’m so excited about for you all. @Greyphoto i know what you mean, I’m only trying for my 2nd but sometimes I have this feeling that it’s going to be a bad move and I should just be happy with my little boy. But the thought of him having a sibling. It’s like torture

@Nic2908 hi, I think around 15/16 dpo now but wasn’t tracking. If AF arrives I will start tracking.
I'm feeling a few cramps today, I’m due on at any time really according to my app.

@Cossete what's your back pain like? My lower back is killing me but it feels more in my bones than the squishy bits inside

6dpo today and nothing at all to report. No sore boobs, no cramping, nothing.

It's all very boring over here!!

I had a chemical last month and I tested really early at like 7/8dpo because I just knew in my bones I was pregnant. I don't feel anything like that at all this month ☹️.

How's everyone else doing?

Currently 5dpo and going to try and hold out testing until Friday when I'll be 10dpo... but I know what I'm like and will probably cave a few days before that!

So far not many symptoms apart from craving chocolate which isn't like me, but think that might be to do with buying my daughters advent calendar treats this weekend!!

I’m still waiting for AF to arrive, I feel like I’m getting some cramps here and there but not sure if it’s my body trying to fire up AF.
Spotting has stopped..I have ultra toilet fear. Usually I bleed after a BM but didn’t yesterday, did try and let it all come naturally and no pushing haha!
Never really had symptoms with the other 2 so I don’t want to start making up things in my head 😅
I will test again when I’m officially late, which is anytime now really but I want to give it more time and not waste anymore tests!

How was everyones weekend?! DS has an inset day today so we are going to put our Christmas tree up and decorate. The weekend flew by... which is good as I am getting seriously fed up of waiting to POAS! I took a test about 30 minutes ago, BFN, but that's to be expected... I'm about 7DPO. I think the earliest I have got a positive test before was around 9DPO/10DPO.

@overthinkersanonnymus The back cramps just feel like a constant ache, with some sporadic 'shooting' pains every now and then, and then the odd one now and again round the front of my stomach. I experienced something similar with my last pregnancy!

I randomly decided to do an afternoon wee and test with a Tesco one instead of the strips as AF still isn’t showing up.
Thoughts?
