Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is 1DPO today... I got a peak ovulation test on CD14 and CD15, today is CD16, so I am around 1DPO. We DTD CD13 & CD14, so I am hoping the sperm stuck around a couple of days!

Just wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as me and wants to chat during their TWW 🙂

@MrsLaura89 Ahh that's exciting! Let us know what you are having. We've got our anomaly scan in 2 weeks. This is my DP's 3rd baby girl, and my 1st (I have a DS). I've been teasing him that he can only make girls 😂

@Cossete haha poor guy!
I have 2 boys already so I’m pretty convinced this one will be a bit too!
im not too fussed tbh, just hope it’s okay in there!
We were going to have a harmony test (still might yet) and get genetics and gender for definite but it’s so expensive! x

MrsLaura89 · 28/04/2023 20:15

@monsteramunch @Cossete
how are you getting on?
20 week scan was all good for us! Feels more real now I can feel kicking x

monsteramunch · 28/04/2023 21:35

Hi @MrsLaura89 ah I'm so glad things are going well! 16 weeks here on Monday and all great Smile we caved and booked a scan for Thursday to find out if we're having a boy or girl, so really looking forward to that! Excited to start feeling some movements too, it must be so surreal the first few times?!

MrsLaura89 · 28/04/2023 22:11

@monsteramunch it’s a lovely feeling, makes me anxious if I don’t feel anything though 😅
They told us the gender at the last scan but I’m wanting a recheck in a few weeks time until I start buying anything just in case!

monsteramunch · 28/04/2023 22:42

Haha it's a cycle of anxiety in every way isn't it! I felt so relieved the first day I didn't feel sick... for about one minute then I panicked it meant something bad! Now I'm basically 16 weeks I can feel myself really enjoying it more and trying to actively do so. Are you having a third boy or your first girl??

Cossete · 01/05/2023 10:17

All good here, we had our 20 week scan last Monday. She is all healthy and confirmed to be a girl. I did find out I had a low-lying posterior placenta, so I will need to go back for another scan at 36 weeks. If it hasn't moved it will be a c-section for me! It also explains all the back ache I've been having.

@MrsLaura89 I can also feel her kicking and rolling, it's such a lovely feeling isn't it! What have they said you're having?!

@monsteramunch Let us know what you're having! So exciting.

Glad to hear things are going well for everyone.

Aah what a cutie @MrsLaura89 Flowers

I think boy but that is based on absolutely nothing other than my gut!

We found out our little one is a girl... and that she never stops moving! Here she is - we are obsessed already Smile

Can feel her so often which is really lovely. 17+5 now.

@MrsLaura89 I'm getting boy vibes too!

@monsteramunch Such a lovely scan photo.

Hey ladies!
long time no speak, how are we all getting on?

xxx

HallE21 · 13/08/2023 20:34

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant! We're absolutely thrilled. It's not without it's challenges, it's my second hyperemesis pregnancy, SPD is in full swing and been told I have low Papp-a but just grateful to be pregnant at this point!

How are you doing @MrsLaura89 ?x

MrsLaura89 · 13/08/2023 21:04

Ahh this is fantastic news!!
Will you be finding out the gender?

I have SPD this time too, sitting for too long makes it worse and getting up or trying to dress myself hurts so bad! New experience for me but I’m close to the end now and 36+3 so can handle it for a bit longer.

We have a “small” baby on board according to my grow chart but I’ve birthed 2 babies of 6.15 and 7.9 so very average sized and this one looks set for around 7lbs but for me being tall etc at least 8lbs and up is normal for me so it means we are SGA and I’ll be induced as close to 39 weeks as possible as long as baby remains happy unless i go into labour myself which I’ve never done before!

I hope your hyperemesis settles soon, must be awful having that. Don’t worry too much about the low PAPP-A, they will probably give you extra scans x

Cossete · 14/08/2023 14:19

@HallE21 Ahh that's amazing news congratulations!!

I am 35 weeks + 6 so right behind you @MrsLaura89 . Unfortunately I am not having much fun this pregnancy - I am also in a lot of pain - can no longer bend down to put shorts on or socks etc... not pleasant!! How are you two relieving it? The only thing I have found that helps is either having a deep bath or lying down.

I have also been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so am on a super strict diet and baby girl is measuring BIG. I've been given the choice of early induction or c-section, and panicking because I've got so much left to do! Sounds like we will be having our babies at similar times @MrsLaura89 😍

HallE21 · 14/08/2023 14:36

No we won't, we had a surprise last time and it was so lovely so we're going for that again! Do you know what you are having?

I had it last time but it didn't start until much later, and it feels a lot more intense this time round. I have my 20 week scan tomorrow so I am going to ask them about it then. You're so close to the end now! How exciting!

Were you induced with your other 2 babies because they were measuring "small"?

Hyperemesis has settled from what it was, I am still medicated though. They have said that I will have growth scans and I am on baby aspirin so fingers crossed everything is fine xx

MrsLaura89 · 14/08/2023 14:40

@Cossete wow! Literally 5 days apart! I will be having baby between 38/39 weeks as will you with your diabetes.
Pregnancy is never fun for me, I just gain so much weight. I could eat salad everyday and still gain 4 stone 😣 it will all come off but just annoying to hate my reflection.

I get leg pain at night time too, along with the multiple wees I am struggling with decent sleep and add the pelvic pain in and I’m even more miserable!! Staying active (as much as I can without exhausting myself) is the only thing the eases the pain. Sitting or laying for too long just makes it all seize up and hurt more.

Xx

MrsLaura89 · 14/08/2023 14:47

@HallE21
We are having a girl, have 2 boys already. Was very surprised. I wanted a surprise but husband wanted to know.

So, they didn’t do the “grow” monitoring with our first as he’s 14 but they did with our 3 yr old but they were both over the 10th centile so not classified as small. Even though this current pregnancy is about bang on size as average nationally, for me with my personalised growth chart it’s small and it changes every pregnancy. My chart says 3500g is too small for me 😂
The perks of being nearly 6ft tall!!

x

Cossete · 14/08/2023 15:30

@HallE21 Ahh that's lovely, I would have liked a surprise by DP was really keen to find out, this is his third girl😅

@MrsLaura89 That's so lovely that you are having a girl, I bet you can't wait. I've been enjoying the shopping, girls clothes are great. Although, my baby is predicted to be over 4kg, so I've been actively avoiding newborn size! I will be induced / section at 38 - 39 weeks, I have a scan next week to check her growth again so it will be dependent on how that goes. I've been really strict with the diet, but I've been told that even with that, babies born to women with GD can be massive! A few people have also asked if I'm having twins as my bump is so huge ha ha.

Oh gosh don't remind me about the night time weeing! I never go for wees at night, so it's been hell.

HallE21 · 14/08/2023 15:37

@MrsLaura89 Aww how lovely! I'm a bit more indifferent as to whether we find out or not, but my husband doesn't want to 😊

Ah that makes sense! As long as baby comes out healthy, that's the goal isn't it. Though, I'm not envious of a 3500g baby being classed as small 😬

@Cossete aww another girl, how lovely! My friend has just had a baby whilst having GD and he only 'fit' into newborn for about a week, even the it was tight on his shoulders.

MrsLaura89 · 17/09/2023 11:27

She’s here 💕
She’s now 3 weeks and 2 days old and an absolute breastfeeding monster. I didn’t think she was going to stick around in the early days as I bled heavily for around 9 weeks but just goes to show that she wanted to be here with us.
We’re done for babies now, 2 boys and a girl and a family of 5 is plenty. I’ll get a plant next time I feel broody 😅

Lots of love ❤️

I'm good thanks! 36 weeks now so on the home stretch - currently so hormonal I swing from 'how on earth am I going to cope with another three weeks of feeling this uncomfortable and in pain' to crying thinking about when they cut the umbilical cord and she's not connected to me anymore 😭

Mostly I just can't wait to meet her. Hospital bag is packed and c section is booked for 39 weeks. So close to the finish line now!

Seeing a little one safely here from our little gang on here is just so wonderful, thank you for sharing such a gorgeous picture. Bet you can't stop staring at her! Flowers

GemLou88 · 09/10/2023 14:49

Just seen this. Congratulations @MrsLaura89 she is beautiful
