1DPO - Testing buddies? 😄

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is 1DPO today... I got a peak ovulation test on CD14 and CD15, today is CD16, so I am around 1DPO. We DTD CD13 & CD14, so I am hoping the sperm stuck around a couple of days!

Just wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as me and wants to chat during their TWW 🙂

Negative cheapie for me this morning at 8dpo. Will test again tomorrow! Not using FRERs until I’m at least 10/11DPO.

Right I'm not testing now until at least Sunday (maybe Saturday 🤣) I'm obsessed!!

I'm going to end up having a phantom pregnancy if I carry on! Like one of those lonely cats 😂

@GemLou88 @Chanteuse Thank you both of you. I am being VERY tentative... I've had these lines before and they've turned out to be bad indents and I haven't been pregnant 😔More cramps again today, I'm desperate for work to finish so I can get in the bath! Only thing that's been soothing the aches the last couple of days. I am going to test again in the morning, and if has progressed I will take it as BFP!! x

@Cossete good thinking! I’ve never even had an indent to be honest so I do worry that I may think an indent is a positive! 😩 so difficult isn’t it

@Chanteuse They've caught me out a couple of times... but to be honest, they've never shown up in photos, this one is quite 'clear'. We shall see! x

Makes me feel better that others are also ridiculously testing early! Last pregnancy I got a positive at 8dpo so I've built myself up for tomorrow and feeling it'll be another BFN. Huge hats off to everyone sensible waiting until a missed period.
Have no such self control.

Flipping heck I’m just catching up after two days and so much has happened!! How bloody exciting congratulations those that have had the positive pregnancies. How exciting for you all, I am 6dpo. Going to try and get until Friday if I can. I’m actually scared to be pregnant now as I’m so stressed at work which is bad in itself but then I am literally living off vending machine chocolate and crisps which is even worse. What have you guys been doing during the last two weeks, give me some inspo to get my crap together.

How is everyone this morning?

I'm afraid I don't have any good news this morning - I got another test with a 'whisper' of a line, I am fairly certain that what I am looking at are indents. First Response are notorious for them! It is not darker than yesterdays test, if anything it is lighter and even more difficult to see. I am taking both yesterday and today as BFN. I am just going to wait for AF now and see what happens, it teaches me for testing so early!

Was going to wait til Saturday to test but may or may not have picked up a cheapie this morning - couldn’t resist. Turns out I’m too scared to take it now!! 11DPO. Can’t work out if the symptoms are pregnancy or AF.

@Cossete sorry to hear that ☹️ how many dpo are you?

I've tested again today (shock) at 9dpo and, of course, bfn. I'm not hopeful for this cycle at all and just want it over with so I can concentrate on Christmas. I'm over analysing every little twinge and pull pliers testing everyday, it's not a good place to be in, mentally.

@overthinkersanonnymus I'm 9dpo, so early days.. but I'm fairly certain I've had positive tests by now in my previous pregnancies. And I think today's would have been darker if yesterday was a true positive. You have to be very wary with the first response test, as they are designed for early testing, so you are squinting and analysing every possible line!

@Cossete I totally know what you mean with the over analysing any potential line. My eyes play tricks on me on every single test 😩

I really hope your line gets more prominent xx

I'm on a complete downer this cycle and just want next Tuesday to hurry up so AF arrives.

@overthinkersanonnymus Yep! Same, I'm just wishing for AF now because I feel certain that I am out!

I'm just surprised that First Response are allowed to sell tests where there is such an arguably 'visible' line. I feel like in both the photos I've posted, you can see a line, and that is without me editing or tweaking the photographs... it's a known issue with FRERs that they have bad indents... If I didn't know how bad the indents would be I would be assuming I was pregnant right now!

@Cossete it is a joke. The amount of people on here who say the same about the FRER is shocking. And they're so expensive!!

I use the Wondfo ones from Amazon. It's about £8 for 25 and I've never had an issue with Evaps or indents. So much so that when I had a chemical last month, I was convinced the lines were evaps but going off this months tests (which are painfully white!) I believe it even more now!!

Plus it's less costly when you test twice a day 🤣🤣

@overthinkersanonnymus I'm on another website too and there are people saying they are fairly sure my tests are positive and not indents, but I am 99% sure that is what they are 😩

Hi everyone,

Well I’m still having weird spotting, I keep feeling like me period is about to start but it’s not coming properly. I am bleeding on wiping again and I also opened my bowels again and strained (tmi I know it’s gross!) as I figured there’s nothing in there.
I'm having some mild cramps now so I’m really, really hoping that my period starts properly soon so that we can get it out of the way and try again.
My sister in law is also trying for her 2nd and I just know she will fall immediately 😒

@MrsLaura89 That must be so shit. Hopefully it stops soon or turns into a proper period? Maybe worth a visit to a GP? Are you still testing positive on pregnancy tests? x

I know it's just a shadow or a trick of the light but i just love the excitement of it!! Although I'm having a month off in December because this cycle has actually stressed me out 😂
