Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@MillieKitty thats exciting!! I was almost a week late and beginning to consider induction when I went into labor...the waiting around at the end is the hard work!

Ohhh so exciting that they are appearing now! You started trying to prompt labour yet with curries etc @MillieKitty?

I am 31 weeks tomorrow and struggling with lack of sleep and brain power 😂 still working I have less then 4 weeks left until maternity but just been put on blood thinner injections and struggling with those a smidge so we shall see how the next few weeks pan out! I just want the end now 😂

@PPop I've been too tired to do things such as walking, ball bouncing, sex etc 😆 that's good you're finishing work around 35 weeks, I waited until 38 and it felt way too late

Try raspberry tea and a curry... I mean the Mr can put the effort in to the sex on these occasions 😂
Yes I feel 35 weeks is even too long, it's wanting to spend time with them more when they come out isn't it!

How are the movements further along I found since 28 weeks they have just increased drastically! But I guess at some point room will be difficult for her!

@PPop yeah I feel like my baby is squashed in there! They have a lot of quiet time but enough activity so I know they're okay, I have a sweep on Wednesday if I haven't gone into labour so I will probably panic and try all the tricks 😂

@PPop i couldn't wait around for 5 weeks! i worked until 39 weeks and waiting around almost 2 weeks drove me crazy!

@MillieKitty I did all the tricks! Drank raspberry tea for months, 4 mile walks every day from 39 weeks, sex, spicey food, had a sweep at 40weeks exactly and still didn't go into labor until
40+5! He was stubborn and came when hr was good and ready haha

It's looking like I'll only be waiting about for 2 weeks as they have said they will c section at 37 weeks due to my BP and spinal issues 😊 so I took my annual leave 2 weeks before and my mat leave starts roughly when they take her out.

Haha no to be fair, I hate spicy food and flavoured tea and tried sex but felt too sore, being induced tomorrow!

I don't know how inducing works! From
OBEM it looks like they put something up there? Do you go home after?

@Wrenegade thank you! It still feels surreal, got to stay in hosp whilst they do extra checks as birth was long and baby got a bit distressed. Sending you lots of luck for a healthy birth!

@PPop thank you! I'm just very sore below, had to have a few stitches 😷 hopefully your friend has a smoother birth than I did! How much longer to go for you?

@MillieKitty sorry to hear that you’ve had to stay in and have stitches. Have they given you anything to help with the soreness? Sounds like you’ve done a super job and that you’re being looked after. How is baby doing?

EDD is in 19 days so I wonder how long it will be.

@MillieKitty congrats!!! And don't worry the stitches aren't sore for long... my little man got stuck and had to have an episiotomy to get him out and the stiches healed in no times, the awkward itchy phase of healing was the worst, can't be itching there out for a walk! Haha

Well I got given a date yesterday and the consultant was mean!!! I have got 7 weeks left as they changed from 37 week plan and decided to go to nearly my due date instead 😩 stress stress!!

So exciting that the babies are starting to appear, it feels like just yesterday we were all doing the tests - well sometimes other days isn't pregnancy so long?! 😂
