Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

Thanks @Peeonastick22 , joining you in the 2WW. I just had my peak so will be 1 DPO on Wednesday.

Peeonastick22 · 31/10/2022 13:34

@HJA87 ah we’re close! Do you plan on waiting until a certain day to test?

Same DPO here. My LP is usually 10 days max so I never usually test. If I get to 12DPO I’m hoping that will be a good sign!

Mortima · 31/10/2022 18:20

Checking in - 3dpo today, feeling a few twinges but I know that's just the usual hormonal shift. This is cycle 4, TTC #1.

I'll also try and hold out testing until 12dpo - my luteal phase is 11-12 days so will probably know if I'm out by then anyway

Peeonastick22 · 31/10/2022 21:36

@Wreakingball @Mortima

Hey :)

fingers crossed for us all

@Peeonastick22 I’m not sure. I’ve had several chemicals in a row so on one hand I want to wait to avoid building up excitement only for it to not work out again but on the other hand my tests were positive for a couple of weeks after expected period so even if I wait I’ll still get a positive (if I actually conceive again that is). I’m also seeing a recurrent miscarriage consultant next week so will see what she says. She might want to prescribe something for the next pregnancy in which case it would be beneficial to know as soon as possible.

Wrenegade · 31/10/2022 23:09

Tagging @milliekitty so she can find the thread.

I ovulated on the 28th or 29th so I’m 2/3 dpo today. It’s my second cycle TTC #1. I’m trying to hold out this month until I AF is late. Since taking pregnacare I have noticed my cycles have lengthened. This month I was really aware of symptoms of ovulation, hormonal acne, sore boobs and it felt like my period was starting. The sore swollen boobs have stayed which is unusual for me. I’m wondering if it is another side effect.

JoanHants · 31/10/2022 23:18

Hey girls! Mind if I join you 😊 I`m currently 1dpo after chemical - this is my first ever positive pregnancy after 5.5 years of trying. I usually ovulate on cd19-20 but here I am today ovulated on cd12 which is crazy to me? Anyway, I know miscarriage is so heartbreaking but it actually gave me so much hope that I can and WILL get pregnant.

I`m sending positive thoughts and lets hope we will have many BFPs this month 😊

Peeonastick22 · 01/11/2022 08:50

@HJA87 I’m so sorry that you’re going through all of that, it must be so exhausting :(
I hope that the consultant helps!

@Wrenegade thats interesting that your cycles have lengthened after pregnacare, I wonder why. Funnily enough I’ve been experiencing sore boobs a lot in my last two cycles which is unusual for me!

@JoanHants welcome ! I’m sorry to hear about your chemical but I understand you taking it as hope after so long! It’s great to stay positive

good luck everyone xx

Thanks @Wrenegade !

Sorry to hear of your chemical @JoanHants and yes I know what you mean regarding taking it as a good sign you can get pregnant, that's what the doctor said to me afterwards as well, i also heard you're more fertile afterwards too but not sure how true that is, I had one on cycle 2 and now cycle four and I had a faint positive yesterday but still a week until my period so I'm leaving it until then to test again , fingers crossed you get another BFP

I'm hoping this is a lucky thread for us all

MillieKitty · 01/11/2022 10:49

Ok who was I kidding, as if I was going to wait until the weekend to test , better lines today! 10dpo, hoping this one will stick, sending baby dust to this thread! Excited to see more

HJA87 · 01/11/2022 21:17

@MillieKitty congratulations!

MillieKitty · 01/11/2022 21:24

Thank you @HJA87 I hope you are okay, I've got everything crossed for you

Mortima · 02/11/2022 08:11

@MillieKitty Congratulations! Keep us updated on your progress - did you have any particular symptoms, or try anything differently this cycle?

MillieKitty · 02/11/2022 08:20

@Mortima thank you! It's tricky to name symptoms because I think I've been having a bad IBS flare up I think, I've been having some tests at the doctors to find the cause, not sure if fertilisation flared it up, I remember having vivid dreams quite early on! This cycle we only dtd twice three days apart so I'm amazed it happened tbh, how many dpo are you?

Mortima · 02/11/2022 08:50

@MillieKitty Just goes to show, it only takes one sperm! Sorry you're struggling with IBS though, that's miserable - hope the doctors can help.
I'm 5DPO and it's dragging...

MillieKitty · 02/11/2022 09:07

Not long to go! When will you test? I showed up at 8/9dpo so that is this weekend for you!

MillieKitty · 02/11/2022 09:07

@Mortima forgot to tag 😆

Peeonastick22 · 02/11/2022 11:57

@Mortima im 4dpo and I think it’s dragging so much 😭😭 it’s all I think about

OP posts:
Mortima · 02/11/2022 13:14

I feel you! I could be tempted to do a cheeky 9dpo test on Sunday, although I know it's sensible to wait...I also never know if I'd rather get a BFP whilst DH is around to share the moment with him, or test on a weekday morning on my own and surprise him.

Emmalou0607 · 02/11/2022 14:14

Joining, I'm now on 3DPO. Had much better LH levels this month and BBT seems pretty good to so fingers crossed!
