Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

what DPO are you all?

@Mortima i lost my son at 32 weeks due to 2 chromosomal abnormalities... neither me or my partner were found to be carriers but it's almost impossible to detect any indicators on ultrasound and we're offered one to put our mind at ease, even though it's unlikely to happen again it happened the first time so we'd rather know for sure then always wonder if we'll get to bring them home or not

I am having a fair weird time with these twinges, nothing really painful just some odd poking feelings mostly in my right side! It's not nice!

@PPop I had all sorts of pokes and pains at the beginning! Even now!!

@MillieKitty did it feel like someone was under your skin poking the side of your vagina? And also poking like inside your skin but on the side? It's so odd and making me mildly paranoid. My sisters problems keep playing on my mind. It was calmer earlier got a bit lively again this evening!

Yeahhh so much is happening inside you right now so it's normal to feel all sorts, don't worry!

Did a digital today a week after the first one... it's gone up to 2-3 weeks this is a good thing right? 🤦‍♀️ I have never been so anxious!

@PPop yes that’s an encouraging sign! How are you feeling? It’s quite normal to feel anxious.

I have found the last week strange, pulling, poking and stretching sensations with the odd minor cramp thrown in.
I've had tingles in my boobs, they are sometimes sore and sometimes not.
I'm so tired.
I can't stop pooping.
Oh and I'm so bloated.

I just hope like crazy that it's real 😍

@PPop I’m sorry to hear that you are having all of those symptoms, they’re all encouraging signs that things are progressing well. I know it is hard to put the anxiety aside, how many weeks are you now?

I’m ten weeks today, I’m feeling hopeful that symptoms will start to ease over the next few weeks. I did have a couple of days without being physically sick last week but that returned with a lot of exhaustion. I keep reminding myself that symptoms are a positive sign. I have to admit I was not at all prepared for the first trimester. I naively thought barely anything would happen.

@Wrenegade I don't mind the symptoms so long as it's a real little baby! I am 5w + 2. Booked a peek scan for next Friday when I'll be 6w+5.

Ohhh I'm glad you got some respite! How have you found the sensations inside? It's super often!! Did you have an early scan? Hopefully a couple more weeks and you'll feel loads better!

@PPop not long to go, how exciting. Have you shared your news with anyone?

I had really intense cramping from ovulation through to 5 weeks-ish. Now I get stretching sensations in my womb and round ligament pain. My bladder also struggles to let go of urine despite being full 🙈. I had a scan at 8+2 at the EPU, seeing their heart beat for the first time was amazing. It was so big and strong 😍.

@Wrenegade we have with close friends and immediate family (except my sister and brother because of my sisters history I am working that out)

Yes I find the stretching quite intense it started last Tuesday, no spotting or anything this far just the sensations and they do feel odd 😂

@PPop did you feel excited sharing? I’ve loved peoples reactions, so many people crying with happy tears. Not at all what I expected. We shared with family after I was in the hospital at 8 weeks with HG. It became impossible to hide that I was ill. It sounds like you’re being sensitive towards your sister’s history. I’ve heard some people prefer to find out over text so they have the space and time to process.

I’m excited for when baby is big enough that I can feel them move. I definitely don’t have a bump but my jeans are tight and my waist isn’t its usual shape!

I actually did feel so excited sharing, but also weirdly nervous. My Dad made me cringe, my parents had to be told over the phone so my dad went you must congratulate DH name as I'm sure was there too! Oh heck! 😂 but it was received well on all sides, tbf some people have been waiting for us to announce for months!! It still doesn't feel real, I feel like one of those people having a fake pregnancy in a movie to get the guy 😂 I have done a pregnancy test nearly every day...

I haven't told many peoplE im even pregnant yet but I had to share with someone... it's a BOY!

I am having a rough day today, the poking is intense. Not crippling just making me feel weird!

This is my first post ever on here but been lurking for a while.
We are TTC #6 (I have 3 DS’s & DH has 2 DS’s but non together) on cycle number 1
I’ve pretty much ruled us out this month as DH has been working away for 2 days right on my peak days :-( BUT wanted to ask a couple of things?
It’s my first time using OPKs, I used the CB digital one and this is my log-
I had the coil out in October last year and cycles have only just settled into a regular pattern. I normally have 31 day cycles.

CD 10-14 empty circle
CD 14 BD
CD 15 BD
CD 15 Flashing smiley
CD 16 Solid Smiley
CD 18 BD

The thing is I didn’t have any EWCM until CD 18 which was a lot, like hanging off the tissue and could stretch loads. Before that I was dry down there and other than sore nipples didn’t feel any ovulation symptoms. Also on CD 18 my libido was through the roof!
Today (CD 19) I’ve had some EWCM but feel like it’s drying up now and boobs aren’t as sore but I definitely feel like I ovulated yesterday.
My question is, can you ovulate 48 hours after you’ve got a peak reading on the CB tests? Is it possible it’s just caught the start of my LH surge as I only had one day flashing smiley?
just wondering if there’s a chance we’ve managed to catch the egg of so.

@MrsSB2023 hi! I have never used CB myself but the positive surge detection on the LH test strips usually indicated that ovulation will happen in the next 24hour. The egg then has 12 hours, so there is every chance you were in the window. Equally if you did the BD before ovulation there may have been sperm ready to meet the egg. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

I feel ok, started to feel little wiggles and pokes now
I'm only 16+4 but got the first set of chromosome results from my amniocentesis which told me it was a boy, he just has to keep growing and keeping everything crossed that the next set come back ok!

Congratulations @ScaredSally ! Sending you lots of luck for a continued healthy pregnancy. I am also hoping for a boy for various reasons! But have to wait til birth to find out 😆

@MrsSB2023 I think it can take up to 36 hours after peak smiley so you probably would have caught it doing the deed two days after! Especially if you had ewcm
