Hey hey, making this thread to lead on from last months. I’m 1 or 2 dpo today and I’m going to try and not symptom spot this month!! Also going to try my best to not test until 12dpo at the earliest!

@MillieKitty its crazy isn’t it!! I’ve been regular all my life and as soon as I’ve started trying things have gone crazy! I’m only on my 4th month

I’ll have to wait and see RE implantation bleeding, although I doubt it this seems to be a decent flow!

@Peeonastick22 hmm interesting I kinda always assumed it was month about... I am so confused, we had sex Saturday and Tuesday as ovulation is coming up so keeping it going as such but now worried I missed!

Oh that's a bummer, how strange that it's been so early...?!

It’s definitely not IB, heaviest flow I’ve ever had with massive clots, like as big/bigger than a £2 coin. The most annoying part is that now I have absolutely no clue when I’m going to ovulate 😂 will actually have to be consistent with temping and testing which I find so hard to do!

Fingers crossed it’s a one off anomaly and I don’t have anything sinister going on

@Peeonastick22 There's definitely no way you could have been pregnant? Just thinking that might explain the strange AF date, pain and clotting...I know you got BFN in November, do you remember the last date you tested?
I hope the pain has eased off a bit for you - I would try and see the GP to rule out anything else going on anyway.

@PPop Sorry you're having such a confusing cycle. It's not always straightforward - keep testing and DTD if you can!

I think I'm 2DPO now - might have even noticed ovulation for the first time ever, as I felt a twinge on my left side on Wednesday evening. Managed to coax DH into sex about an hour or so after that, even though he's a bit under the weather, so hopefully managed to catch it.

@Mortima fingers crossed for you! I am still testing, DH had troublesome a tooth out yesterday so wasn't too keen on DTD 😂 seems okay today though thankfully!

Anyone else's DH/DP say they are overthinking? 😂

@Mortima i tested on the first day of my period! So just over 2 weeks ago, was stark white, and tested yesterday, also negative, so I don’t think so

I’ll get looked at on Monday, seems like things have stopped now, I’ve even gotten out of bed this afternoon 😂

I have a question for anyone who knows a lot about our reproductive systems- I can’t for the life of me find an answer on google

So a period is triggered by our progesterone level dropping, so clearly I’ve had a sudden drop in progesterone at the wrong time for whatever reason

My question is, if I did ovulate when I think I did, around 5/6 days ago, and I happened to have conceived, could that embryo still be travelling down my Fallopian tubes? Or would this period have forced it out?

Not hoping at all as I’ve of course written off this cycle and have logged this as a new one I just hate unanswered questions!

@Peeonastick22 Can't profess to have any expert knowledge, but I would have thought that your progesterone levels are now too low for your endometrium to be thick enough for implantation, so even if there's a blastocyst it will probably die off in the next few days.
I would probably start testing your LH levels sooner than usual though, in case you end up ovulating earlier than usual. But hopefully this is a one-off wonky cycle and you get back to normal soon

@Peeonastick22 so sorry to hear that AF came so early. Have you researched endo at all to see if you have any other symptoms? I’m not sure regarding your other question but I would agree with what @Mortima has said. It is unlikely that the blastocyst had time to implant or travel down the tube in time. How are you feeling today?

I took a break from everything TTC for the last week because since my painful ovulation the cramping hasn’t stopped. I have been very much thinking that the endo has worsened and if I’m honest I have been quite low. However, yesterday and today I had pinky brown CM and today I have a headache so I took a LH test at 9dpo which was very dark so I took an cheapie and a frer which are both bfp!

@Mortima I gave the test to DH as it was developing, because it was a cheapie he thought it was a covid test and that I was testing positive for covid as the line developed. He was very pleased and emotional when I told him it was a pregnancy test. How are you getting on?

@Peeonastick22 That is early! Do you confirm ovulation with BBT?

@Wrenegade How funny - much better than a Covid test, sounds like a lovely moment. Hope you're still doing well! I'm 6DPO and symptom-spotting...had a big BBT dip this morning which is not usual for me, and I can't help but hope it's the fabled implantation dip (but google tells me it's probably just the second oestrogen surge, and doesn't really mean anything).

@Mortima I’m awful at being consistent with that sort of thing! But due to my cycle going out of whack I have been doing it since that early period

Had a dip this morning so assuming egg released at some point today, maybe early tomorrow

I've still had no spike... it's got a reading 28/11 was a 0.35 and that's the highest it's gone! I have no idea what my body is doing, tbh at this point it's a good thing I can't get close enough to shout "hello" up there 🤦‍♀️

@@PPop Ah how frustrating! I've said before, but since I've been tracking in May/June I did have one weird cycle where I think I ovulated very late, around CD27, but by that point I'd given up testing and ended up missing the fertile window altogether...I'm assuming it was Covid that threw me off that time, but I think all sorts of stuff can affect ovulation. Have you been ill/travelling/particularly stressed?
The moral of the story is, keep testing and DTD as often as you can!
