Halloween testers 🎃

Hi all,

I’m just starting my TWW and planning on testing around 29 October (unless period comes sooner which it did last month!)

Anyone else planning to test around Halloween?

@Hopefull1981 I am 12 dpo I think ! I only had a faint line on the FRER but a positive on the CB Digital. I tested this morning again using a boots cheapie and got another faint line. I am David’s my other FRER for tomorrow morning to see if it gets any darker

Congratulations everyone. 😃 I'm still holding out. After the disappointment of the early tests I think it's for the best. Symptoms are only getting stronger every day. I had a tiny amount of spotting last night which is not normal so I'm hoping it's implanting bleeds. I didn't have anything in my last pregnancy so I'm not sure.

Congrats @Roxybabe I'm out. AF arrived at the 11th hour.

Hi everyone, haven't posted on this thread in a week or so, had BFN's and didn't feel any different so thought I was definitely out, I've now had 2 days of spotting, (Sunday/Monday) and a tiny bit of slightly brown almost clear CM today, did test last night but BFN, no pre AF cramps that I normally have and sore boobs that have normally gone, going slightly mad too I think 😂 attempting not to test until Thursday now as read it can take 3 days after IB to get a BFP 🤞🏼

@SmurfStar can you upload the photo again? Mine is super faint. Did yours get darker? I’m praying I got my O day wrong.

First was Saturday, middle is yday and bottom is this morn at 17dpo. Slowly but surely ❤️ every body is diff other peoples tests would be very prominent by now.

@Roxybabe mine is as faint.

I just started spotting, I’m thinking this is a chemical OR reallly nasty indents and this is just AF showing up 3/4 days late.

Could that not be implantation bleeding though? @Roxybabe @Billyv is it brown/light pink i.e not fresh/bright red?

@Billyv @WednesdaysChild11 I really don’t think it is, it feels like AF. I’m starting to wonder now of they were actually just very nasty indents and it was just a coincidence my period was so late. TBH I’m half relieved, I was ready to move onto the next cycle, atleast now I know! It’s the not knowing that’s horrible.

It's weird, last night I really didn't think I was going to start and I started to panic what if I really am PG, then a couple of hours later I got cramps and I was thinking no I don't want AF to show 😥 and then slight relief again this morning when it did. I've just got a lot on ATM so probably for the best. Keep us posted x

I love how supportive everyone is on this post. Making me smile how empowering everyone is. It's a very lonely process going through this. So talking to strangers makes us feel a little less alone!

@EmmRach mate I have no idea. Completely stopped now. I thought IB was a little bit of blood, whereas this was 1 wipe of red at the weekend, then nothing, then a bit of brown spotting but literally a bit in my knickers nothing like AF!

@Roxybabe did the lines have colour? I thought I had indents on frer at first but pretty sure I had a chemical that cycle

@ChloeN At first I was so sure it was slightly pink, now I’m looking at it in a different light and I’m no longer convinced. I think they are indents. I’m abit confused tbh but I’m bleeding now (its quite red)… it’s def AF.

@WednesdaysChild11 yeah I weirdly feel relieved now!! What a rollercoaster few days!! I hardly slept! At least I know now!

Onto cycle 5 I go, good luck to everyone waiting, congrats to all the BFPs and big hugs to all the AFs. 🙏

thanks ladies, TBH I feel like I have been put out of my misery finally. I felt like AF was coming since around 9dpo and felt really down about it, then when AF didn't show on Saturday I started to feel slightly hopeful, then Sunday and Monday - still no show, my mind ran away with me. Feel silly now for believing I might have had a BFP. I got carried away with testing, the amount of time I spent staring at blank tests was torture.

I really struggled this last week, been super emotional and have cried several times, I'm sure it's a mix of TTC stress and pre menstrual, to top it off I have seen another pregnancy announcement this morning. I feel like TTC might be taking over my life a little and I need to stop obsessing. I've spent a stupid amount of time staring at my apps wondering what day I ovulated, spent a silly amount of time reading MN forums and googling symptoms. I've stopped going to the gym just incase I was pregnant which then makes me feel worse. I think I really need to chill out but I don't know how? any advice welcome. I'm wondering if the stress of it has made AF late?

@Roxybabe - I feel seen by your post!! Ha. The part in terms of it taking over your life. Constant googling. Looking at apps. Etc. it's driving me mad.

Im so sorry AF reared her head. I know you say it's a relief but that final bit of hope being squashed is painful isn't it.

No advice as such. As i'm struggling with the same. But I just thought I'd let you know you weren't alone. AF is due today and no sign yet. BFN this morning. So i'm sure she is coming. And I feel very much the same!

@EmmRach It's nice to know I'm not alone. I have fertility friend, premom AND natural cycles and open them several times throughout the day double checking what DPO I am and then questioning if they are wrong? I don't know what I'm expecting? like staring at a calendar is going to change the outcome? 😂
I think I need to delete 2 of them and just have the one, just trying to figure out which one to keep. Everything crossed for you!

@Roxybabe @EmmRach i feel exactly the same as you both, ttc is my whole life at the moment!! I’m either on mumsnet or looking at ttc tiktok accounts, it’s nice to not feel alone but at the same time it’s a much. I’m having a break from opks and trying to forget about it for this month, who knows how that’ll go 😵‍💫🤣
