@ChloeN because I’ve just had what they’ve diagnosed as an ectopic pregnancy, I should be able to get an early one next time anyway which will be good

@MrsCristianoX hi, I did but still negative, 9dpo now so I’m not out till I’m out… Monday seems so far away 😂 those others are evaps.

😩 I don’t know why I do it to myself…

I used my last test today so I couldn’t test anymore 🙈😂 now it’s just a waiting game in hoping everything sticks 🤞🏽

@Everythingzrosie because once you start it's hard to stop. I totally get this. 9dpo is still very early..

This is the one month I've forgotten which CD I'm on. It's a welcome relief at this point

@LuckyMoonstone ive just passed more tissue so I feel I should be getting closer that stark white. Never thought I’d be so excited for a negative!!

@ChloeN personally I don’t think I’d have an early scan again even if offered by epu. Every time I’m passing tissue I just see that little baby on the screen which has made this a little harder for me. I don’t even think I’ll test next time til my body tells to and I’ve an urge.

@ChloeN my first pregnancy after CP I had a private scan booked for 10 weeks and started to miscarry naturally just before then. My second i'd had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks at the EPU, both looked fine and showed a heartbeat, had a 10 week private one booked again and at that one was when they found the MMC, growth stopped at 8.5 weeks (sadly seeing the heartbeat at 8 made me think 2% chance of MC meant I was safe). The private place I went to (heyBaby I think, we're excellent and passed all my info to the hospital, couldn't fault them). But, the stats made the second MC really hard to deal with mentally as I'd gotten so excited. I think 12-13 weeks is a long time to wait though aswell, I think I'm going to try and wait til 10 weeks this time x

@Luna57 haha I know right 😂 desperate to get it all out of my system, even if it means haemorrhaging all day and night 😆 I might test tomorrow morning, see if the line is any fainter

I've just started to get some yellow discharge. Didn't one of you mention this a few days ago? I'm really worried it's a sign of another impending bleed. It's not smelly at all and only when I wipe.

I get an eight week 'reassurance' scan at our local hospital's EPU if I ever get pregnant again. It was listed in their post miscarriage leaflets. If all was well then I'd probably have a private scan at 10 weeks. I feel like I'd want to know ASAP if it was another MMC.

@LuckyMoonstone just think of all the bleeding is our bodies getting rid of all the bad stuff so we can regenerate lovely new linings for our new (hopefully) little beans next cycle 😂 we can be optimistic.

@RaliaMusca yes @Mariabombia mentioned this. I had lots of yellow discharge before the pregnancy started to fail. I think someone mentioned it’s a sign of high progesterone so it could just be your body supporting the pregnancy 🤞🏼

@Luna57 thank you, that gives me a bit reassurance. I swear before the MC I didn't ever bother looking at loo paper and now I check obsessively every couple of hours. It's almost comical how much a MC can mess with your brain.

@FfayeN oh no this is what I’m worried about with early scans, there’s always got to be that 2%😭 that should be a normal belly scan then too? It’s silly but I found having an internal to find out bad news so much worse

@TheBirdintheCave is that for anyone that’s had a loss?? I did ask at mine but they said no! That’s my thing if it’s another mmc I want to deal with it asap

@ChloeN Yep anyone who was in their care for a miscarriage gets one (according to the leaflet). Whether they will deny if if we ever try to book one I'm not sure. I doubt I will ever find out 😂

I just wrote this whole message for it to disappear 😭😭😭 as I was saying just got off the phone with the EPU my levels Monday were 2109 and she said todays 1851 she then said that's good it's dropped by half 😳 my maths isn't great but I wouldn't say that's half 🤣 tbf she wasn't English and I swear she said 1851 twice but I suppose it could be 1051 🤷🏼‍♀️ anyhoo got to go back Friday for another blood test and they can't get me in for a scan until 31st oct 🤦🏼‍♀️ I did ask if I get a negative test or have more bleeding between now and then should I cancel and she said no I would still come just to get checked out

@mummatara regardless of the exact numbers take reassurance that it's going down, quite nicely either way 🥰.

@ChloeN all mine have been internal, they've tried over the top as such but I've got a retroverted uterus, so it sits quite far back apparently! Hoping this time I get to a stage where it's big enough to scan outside 🤞🏼.

@TheBirdintheCave mine offer one at 6 and one at 8. I'm avoiding the 6 and delaying the 8 for these exact reasons. I want to to be far along enough...but won't be able to wait until 12/13 for the normal one. Have faith that your time will come and hopefully with some answers from your upcoming tests. It's frustrating, but I am sure you and everyone else on here will get your BFP.

I'm taking mine for now, but like the others have said I am already thinking I'll be back TTC in a few months. What a rollercoaster we're all on 😔 xx

@FfayeN yes I was thinking that it's going in the right direction so hopefully nothing retained or if there is still some to come out then it will happen when it gets a bit closer to zero. It's 2.5 weeks since I started bleeding, a week since it stopped and last time it took 6 weeks to drop so I'm kind of mentally prepared for it to take that long

@RaliaMusca yes it was me! Had some at 4 and 5 weeks. Got a little bit the other day too. Really freaks me out when it happens !!

@Mariabombia it must be quite normal then. I wonder if I had it with my previous healthy pregnancy but just never noticed because I wasn't a paranoid mess back then 🙈

@MrsCristianoX Yes it’s still early so I’m still hoping… I’m laughing at myself at what I’ve become! I advise others not to do exactly what I’m doing! I’ve lost my mind!

@Mariabombia You're exactly right - pregnancy no longer = baby in my mind. The current goal is simply to be pregnant, then get over one hurdle at a time. I can't think as far ahead as an actual baby resulting from that

Scan wise I had the same experience as @LuckyMoonstone - my mmc was found at a private scan. I'd gone my own and felt so bad for the staff there having to support me through that. They were amazing, really compassionate, but I felt really guilty for making them have to deal with it!
I'd definitely have multiple early scans again though (if I'm lucky enough to actually get pregnant again) if there is another mmc, I'd want to know as soon as possible so I can be in control of treatment options etc.

@lizziecat1 sounds like I just got really unlucky with the private scan I went to, they were honestly just crap! I suppose I could try another next time

@Everythingzrosie once I start I go through about 2 a day..the cheapies are just too tempting. I hate myself every time 😅

@ChloeN that's such a shame. Mine were really lovely, and phoned epu to arrange everything for me, so when I got there, the staff already had my private scan report and knew what was happening. Hope you find a better place next time - if you decide to go down the early scanning route.
My dh is a vet, and says next time he will scan me weekly so we know what's happening!
