@TheBirdintheCave oh wow that's unusual. Will you get some more tests? I guess the fact AF hasn't arrived is a good sign but so confusing with the negative tests!

@LuckyMoonstone oh hun that's SO annoying. Hopefully you get a call from them today and have some answers.

Mariabombia · 17/10/2022 09:29

Ahh sorry dumb question but what's that? 🤣 @calimc83

I'm okayyy had a bit of yellow CM again this morning (haven't had it for a week now) so feel a bit annoyed at seeing that again. It must be slight spotting but I don't understand how I could have implantation bleeding at 4 weeks, 5 weeks and now 6? If it's not spotting then I don't understand what's making it yellow, I don't have any signs of an infection.

@cocoforbes welcome!! So sorry to hear about your story but glad you're getting the tests and support now. Shocking to read about celiac diagnosis and how that may have an affect ♥️

LuckyMoonstone · 17/10/2022 09:34

@cocoforbes that’s a hell of a lot to go through xx

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 09:34

@Mariabombia I had yellow CM every now and then with my last pregnancy. I put it down to the pregnancy vitamins.

@bunnykins123 Yeah I've ordered some more cheapies but they don't arrive until tomorrow. I guess for now all I can do is wait. I couldn't even temp this morning as I got up to pee too near 7am so it would have been invalid 🙄

FfayeN · 17/10/2022 09:53

@cocoforbes sorry to hear of your ordeal. It's crazy how coeliac can affect it. I have hashimotos and that's closely linked to gluten intolerances, the range of stuff available now is phenomenal so hopefully you've found that aspect manageable 🥰. Wishing you all the best for a successful next pregnancy.

@TheBirdintheCave why do our bodies do this on the months we find the hardest! Do you have any symptoms of AF or any spotting? Have you added any supplements? When I took myo-inositol it wreaked havoc with my cycles and symptoms. (Sorry if I've asked this already this thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up and remember individual circumstances as we're all so similar)

@LuckyMoonstone I'm sorry but your local trust has been really bad at supporting you. I've never heard of medical professionals being so unreliable. This is dragging for you and it shouldn't be that way. I can only imagine how frustrated you feel, stick in there, hopefully the end is in sight.

@theblueflowers how are you doing lovely? Xx

@MrsCristianoX I’m so sorry you’re feeling so low and dd is sensing it. It’s like having dogs. One wee tear could come down my cheek and my wee dog would come over and lick it. She’s been extremely needy with me this pregnancy to the point where she’s on edge when ds comes near. She loves ds but I think she knew I needed protection.

@HJA87 i have a ds who is 13 months and I was the same. First cycle and no complications. I kick myself every day from the first mc because I had bonding issues from bump to ds being 4 weeks old. I didn’t realise in my mind that there was a baby inside me so every scan etc they weren’t exciting because it was just expected yep there’s a leg, there’s a heartbeat. Even when he was born, because it was emergency forceps I never seen or felt him coming out I couldn’t put 2 and 2 together. I remember just handing him to dh and I was numb. I could barely care for ds for a couple weeks after because of the pain I was in with a massive episiotomy. And was only one day I watched him napping at 4 weeks old and I just cried and thought omg that’s my son and it clicked! I’ve been obsessed with him ever since and never been more in love.

@cocoforbes so sorry you’ve found yourself on this threat. It’s a great support group we are all like minded. When I told my mum last night about having another mc she was very sympathetic but said the timing just wasn’t right. Which rattled me 😂 so sometimes coming here can give you more support than ‘just wasn’t meant to be’ 😂 I’m sure that was a shock finding out you had coeliac disease without having symptoms. How have you found the gluten free diet?

@calimc83 thats lovely to have a wee surprise. Have you 2 dd? I always said to dh the next one we wouldn’t find out the gender. I knew from day 1 with ds he was a boy so wasn’t shocked when they told us at 16 weeks. But I swore with the next successful pregnancy I wouldn’t even look at the heartbeat to see how fast or slow it was beating or read up on old wives tales I just wanted it to be a complete surprise. Hope these 2 weeks fly in for you!

mummatara · 17/10/2022 10:12

@cocoforbes welcome and sorry you're here but everyone in this group is a fab support bubble 💕

@Indianna2006 good luck today hope it isn't too stressful waiting at work

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 10:20

@FfayeN No spotting, no cramps, nothing whatsoever. I just feel totally normal. The only thing I changed this month was starting to temp. I am baffled.

Mariabombia · 17/10/2022 10:33

@TheBirdintheCave I'm only on vit d and normal folic acid though as I would think the same. It's normal and clear/white and then random bits of yellow.

That is baffling about your period btw, do you think you O'd a lot later than usual?

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 10:42

@Mariabombia Have you eaten curries or anything with turmeric on days before you notice the yellow? No idea if that would affect it but it's an idea 😂

Ordinarily I would imagine that's what happened but I got O pains as usual and was temping so I saw the dip and rise. It makes no sense.

LuckyMoonstone · 17/10/2022 11:04

Thank god my hcg is down to like 40 something now and I'm properly bleeding this morning like a period so I'm taking this as the first day of a new cycle, my body has obviously realised now that there's nothing left! I knew from all the gunk that’s been coming out of me the last few days that it was finally clearing out 😂
@FfayeN it has been a bit ridiculous but it is good how they’ve given me instant access to the EPU throughout it all. So now the MC fiasco is over, my next appointment is early Nov to see the nice doctor at my GP practice about potentially getting my thyroid sorted and hopefully get my pesky cycles under control 👍

We are having a month off from TTC because I don’t want to be pregnant at Christmas! Will try again in December, hopefully I’ll ovulate sort of mid to late December so no chance of accidentally getting a BFP right before the big day and having to hide it 😅

mummatara · 17/10/2022 11:07

@LuckyMoonstone thank goodness for that! What a palava for you but glad it seems to be sorting itself out now

MrsCristianoX · 17/10/2022 11:12

@LuckyMoonstone fab!! Ah we will both be back on the saddle in December so to speak xx 😘

LuckyMoonstone · 17/10/2022 11:13

@MrsCristianoX absolutely 👍 I think the break will be a good thing
@mummatara I’m so relieved, I’ve just got to do a test in a couple of weeks and make sure it’s fully negative

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 11:57

@LuckyMoonstone That's great news! :D

bunnykins123 · 17/10/2022 12:12

@Mariabombia yellow is often a sign of high progesterone. I don't think it's anything to worry about unless maybe it smells? That could be a sign of a infection.

@LuckyMoonstone brilliant news! So glad it's coming down 👏 totally understand having some time off before Xmas. Hopefully the break will do you some good!

@TheBirdintheCave initial thought is that you either a) ovulated later in the cycle than your realised b) haven't ovulated yet c) your pregnant. Are you always very regular? It's always the way, when you nail your dates, something throws off your cycle. Have you tried a opk strip to see how that looks?

cocoforbes · 17/10/2022 12:30

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

@FfayeN @Luna57 I've actually found the gluten free diet ok. I have had a few moments when I realise that I can't eat certain things ever again. My DH was having a KitKat the other day and I had a bit of a wobble! It's trickier to eat out now too but it's honestly not been too bad overall.

@MrsCristianoX @LuckyMoonstone I'll be back in the saddle after Christmas too!

TheBirdintheCave · 17/10/2022 12:35

@bunnykins123 I don't have any OPKs in the house either :/ I'll just have to wait until tomorrow when the cheapies arrive and hope that AF starts in the meantime so I don't waste any 😂I seriously doubt that I could be pregnant, surely I would have had a positive result by now. The only other thought I've had is that maybe it was a chemical and I just didn't pick it up as I didn't test until 12dpo? But then surely I would have started bleeding by now 🤔

I've been keeping an eye on my CM and only had the eggwhites for a few days before the O pains and temp dip/spike. If it's the case that somehow I didn't ovulate after that I don't think I've missed it (thankfully) so I'll keep tracking it just in case. It's just creamy white atm.

theblueflowers · 17/10/2022 12:35

@Mariabombia I have this too, and was told that it is really common in pregnancy-not an infection! Something to do with progesterone?

@FfayeN I'm okay thanks! AF due date today and nowhere to be seen so far, so that's a slight relief. Some slight cramping, but it feels different to AF. I've got one more FRER for tomorrow, where I'm hoping to see some progression from yesterday's. If that looks okay I'm going to contact my consultant for a scan in two weeks. Half of me wants that to come around quickly, and the other half doesn't even want to think about being scanned!

How are you getting on?

RaliaMusca · 17/10/2022 12:53

@LuckyMoonstone so glad to read your levels are finally dropping and it all seems to level out for you. Fingers crossed you'll be fully back on track once the bleeding stops.

I spoke to the EPU this morning about my most recent bleed and they're not too concerned it seems. They're keeping my scan appointment next week Tuesday because that gives the best chances of seeing growth progress (or not). I'll be almost 8 weeks by then so should see a heartbeat if all goes well, although I'm obviously very cynical about it right now.

FfayeN · 17/10/2022 12:58

@TheBirdintheCave that is so bizarre! I really hope AF comes soon if she is waiting in the wings so you know where you stand.

@cocoforbes I can recommend the schar Bueno replacement for a Kit Kat 😉

@theblueflowers similar really! Each little niggle I'm questioning. Spoke to my gyno and she's offered a scan in two weeks for me too. Not sure if ignorance is bliss or whether to go for it tbh.
As we all like a comical story here, thought I'd share that I'm switching to vaginal only progesterone. Did the other end this morning, got to work and needed to pass wind and out it flew. So that's the end of that method for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

HalWin2221 · 17/10/2022 13:00

@theblueflowers @FfayeN thank you both for mentioning about cramps/niggles. Af is due Friday and every cramp I feel I convince myself I’m going to have a chemical/miscarriage. This thread really does make you feel less alone!
also, @FfayeN the progesterone story made me laugh out loud 😂

Indianna2006 · 17/10/2022 13:01

@FfayeN i enjoyed reading that whilst eating my lunch 😂😂😂😂😂😂 hilarious. I’d take the scan if I was you. Altho 6 weeks ish can be border line of heart best or none which can be normal. Which almost makes it worse. I tell everyone better to wait until 7 weeks on the dot. As either way by then. It should have one and make it more conclusive.

@LuckyMoonstone yes! So pleased it’s coming down and deffo agree count today as CD1. Enjoy your break. And hopefully Dec might be yours and @MrsCristianoX lucky months!

@TheBirdintheCave well that’s just all very confusing. So bizarre if you temped too. Hopefully it shows up very soon..

Luna57 · 17/10/2022 13:09

@FfayeN omg stop it!! Haha that really made me chuckle!

omg these cramps are wild, they’ve just come on all of sudden thick and fast! Really hoping come the end of the week for at least a faint test and bleeding to start to end. I can’t wait to stop buying pads. Probably used a years worth in the last few days 😂 let’s hope I have a healthy pregnancy soon to save some money on sanitary products 😂

FfayeN · 17/10/2022 13:12

@Indianna2006 sorry I should have put a warning 😂. I'll be 6weeks 2days and then annoyingly I'm away with work until what will be 9 weeks. So part of me won't want to know before going away if it's bad news 😔, it's a dilemma.

@LuckyMoonstone wonderful news that you're now on CD1. Having a break will help with your headspace too. You and @MrsCristianoX can unite as cycle sisters! xx
