@mummatara they all add up. I should be better with my diet. I'm not heavy at all but eat absolute rubbish. Poor wee DS hope he recovers ok xx

Yesterdays test on the top, todays test on the bottom. Really can’t tell which is lighter or darker, or if they’re the same! I feel like todays is slightly darker?

@LuckyMoonstone hmm hard to tell. But I would say a tad darker? Do you agree? I think you need some blood tests to see if your HCG is rising! Hopefully you'll get that on Friday 🤞

@mummatara oh god that sounds like a nightmare! I hope he is okay, poor little thing. What did you buy? I'm on holibobs at the mo and have vowed when I get home to basically cut everything out and live miserably until we have some more answers. Have you ever had any fertility tests done?

@LuckyMoonstone is the bottom one fully dry? I’d say it looks a little bit darker!

Took a first response at 10dpo(I think, Premom app says 9dpo🙄) and got an evap line lol so waiting for my missed period now

LuckyMoonstone · 22/09/2022 08:28

@ChloeN not fully, it was only a few mins after the test was taken. Will have another look at them together when I get home, as todays test will be fully dry by then
@bunnykins123 i keep changing my mind lol it does look different in real life than in the photo though. I hope they do bloods tomorrow, they did when I had a scan for MC a few years ago

@MrsCristianoX they certainly do makes my £15 pregnacare pale in comparison 😂 we eat a very varied diet it's half good and half a load of crap but I have a absolute sweet tooth which is my biggest downfall 😳

@LuckyMoonstone the bottom looks darker to me 🤞🏼

@bunnykins123 I got ubiquinol for both of us, different preconception vitamins for me and a man multivit which funnily enough the one I ordered he used to take all the time then stopped because they were £40 🙄, r-lipoic acid for both of us, omega dha for him and vitamin C and D for me. I have never had tests done because I honestly never even thought we would have a problem after DS but I do have private healthcare I might try and ring to see if they will do anything for me. If not and we have the money I'll see how much some tests are. Gah being good is miserable isn't it 😭 I was thinking back to when we conceived DS and the circumstances were so different. It was May 2020 I was on furlough and so stress free other than obviously trying not to catch covid but we do live in relative countryside so it wasn't hard to avoid other people. I was out everyday sorting out my horse and fit. I can't remember what we were eating but I don't remember being overly cautious about food so I would say probably the same as now. Now my life is so different I'm lucky to go pat my horse a couple of times a week back in my stressful work environment and def unfit. I spend a lot of time sitting down other than when I'm running about after DS which really isn't a lot since he goes to the childminders all day 5 days a week.

Tested on day period was due, no sign. Tested on third day of waiting, very faint positive but slightly after the 5 min. Flashbacks to miscarriage and cried in fear at going through it all again.
Now 6 days after expected CD1 and can't retest (away on holiday). No idea if I'm actually pregnant or not. Fear HCG is too low if I am and will have a repeat of last time.

Sending you hugs, it is so stressful 😔
When are you back from holiday so you can re-test then? 🌸I know this waiting must be terrible.

@mummatara even if it is, I don’t feel like this is leading up to anything good! Either a pregnancy growing in the wrong place, or nothing there at all and just my stupid hormones being their usual stupid selves!

@LuckyMoonstone the bottom test does look a little darker to me. Glad the GP has been helpful and you have appointment booked.

Peak OPK yesterday morning so ovulation day today. I’ve noticed this morning my nipples are a bit sore…I never get this 🤔 Anyone else have this around ovulation day? I used to get it when I was on the pill but I’m sure it was much later in cycle just before AF. Maybe it’s a good sign and my body is doing something different this month?! I started acupuncture 3 weeks, maybe it’s doing something or maybe just wishful thinking 😆

@LuckyMoonstone eurgh hormones are the absolute worst. Well I'm really hoping that good or not you get answers quickly ❤️

So just to add to my marathon message I left this morning 😳 I downloaded my temp from my thermometer and it's dropped quite a lot I was at about 36.59-64 and this morning it's down to 36.39 my cover line is 36.03 so maybe my body might be getting the message 🤔 It hasn't dropped once since ovulation

@lovenaps it’s a nightmare! I can’t be waiting a month to ovulate every cycle anymore 😞 need it sorting asap!
@Luna57 yeah both FMU, will check again later once they’ve dried to the same level if you get what I mean
@mummatara hope you’re doing ok, you seem in good spirits but I know how necessary it is to put on a brave face, I’ve been doing it too the last few days

@mummatara imagine being one of those people who don’t stress about ttc/early pregnancy. I’m def not one of those people, I have a very addictive personality and once I put my mind to something that interests me I’m obsessed. I’ve started sudoku and now I can’t stop playing it until I’ve mastered the expert levels 😂

@LuckyMoonstone yeah I get you, gonna be the longest working day for you I’m sure to get back to see the outcome.

can I ask, what’s the rules around caffeine in pregnancy? When I was pregnant with DS I had gone off tea and only picked up one wee Coke Zero a day during second trimester to help out with tiredness. I’m not at that stage where tea is turning me yet and if anything it’s a wee comfort for me

@LuckyMoonstone I am doing ok I have my moments and I'm sure when it actually comes to it happening I'll be a mess but I think it's helping me get through the day to have a plan in place going forward. It sounds silly when I write it down but I don't want to fall apart too early as I might still be a couple of weeks away if I end up having surgery so for now I'm holding it together and trying to be positive about what I can change ❤️

@Luna57 I know I'm not sure I know what it feels like to not obsess over it 😂 even with DS I couldn't just let nature happen I did opks from the start though I did have the blissful ignorance of why wouldn't everything be ok we're pregnant all is fine. That's totally gone now.

I think it's one coffee a day but tea has less caffeine so it's 2/3 cups. I tend to have herbal fruit teas so wasn't paying much attention to caffeine I would only have to odd normal tea if at someone's house and I'm not a huge coffee drinker so that doesn't bother me

@mummatara i was the exact same we conceived the first month trying. I used OPKs and they consumed me too. I didn’t expect to get pregnancy so quickly I was actually pregnant on my wedding day (we’d planned for a baby a few months after trying). I wish we could go back to our blissful 2020 selfs where we were just sure each pregnancy results in a baby in your arms at the end. I’d normally only ever have 1 a day in the morning but I’ve already had 2 today already 😂 I only picked up coffee during late flights at 2am just before landing so I could drive home without falling asleep at 4am (didn’t always work- a few near misses 😬)

Just had my first mini breakdown in ages this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am a bit poorly which doesn’t help but I just feel so defeated🙄 I’m pretty sure I’m not pregnant this month so getting a healthy baby just seems even further away! It makes it worse that my job involves being with women all day who all tend to be mums so I have people asking all the time when I’ll be pregnant or telling me im way too young for kids and how stressful it is 🙄
Does anyone else just randomly feel like this? I thought I had gotten over the worst of it but just feel like crap

@Luna57 I am just like you with the addictive personality type! It is a curse!

Really trying to chill now and to stop seeing things as black and white only as life is too much for me at the moment😐I became a very 'precious person' following m/c and get easily hurt by any comment which, as a result, has massively shrunken my friends circle. Really need to toughen up and that is my goal for now!

You are absolutely not alone in feeling like this ❤
Can't believe some people got the cheek to say you are too young for kids, it is your decision purely! I used to get very upset with comments 'why don't you have kids yet? It's time', 'you should not have any kids, this way you won't need to up-size your house in the future'. I became open about m/c so people would stop commenting - think it helped. But now someone said 'if I were you, I would not be trying again', and it set me off again.
It is so hard, do you think you could say something among the lines of 'I do want kids but it is a sore subject at the moment' to those people? You absolutely do not have to as it is your private business and I know some people really want to keep it all to themselves. Also, if you do not feel like speaking about it, you should never be forced to just because people keep asking stuff they should not be asking in the first place.

@lovenaps @LuckyMoonstone thanks ladies💗 I’m glad I’m not alone but sad that other people have to feel this way too!
I do just want to tell people to shut up the majority of the time but don’t think that would be great for business🤣 I think it might be easier to say something about it being a sore subject or mc because honestly people don’t stop! I have a few lovely clients who I’ve told about it and it really helps to talk to them but all the others can be so rude I just want to give up work all together 🤣
