@LuckyMoonstone oh gawd - good luck with that 😂 I sacked off using my ovusense as it never worked and customer service were useless 🤦‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave how many DPO are you now? I'm not sure I see anything but you might be reeeeeally early and it's the beginning of a juicy line. Test again tomorrow and see 🤞

@Margo34 me! I've had 3x losses too whilst bfeeding. My understanding is that prolactin is higher when breastfeeding (mine is high still) and whilst there is a lot about breastfeeding preventing O (hence it taking a while to get periods), there isn't much on miscarriages. I did do a sweep of the net before and saw lots of miscarriages whilst breastfeeding however there is no way to know if they would have happened anyway or if it was due to high prolactin. My theory is think of all the women who have successfully had babies (and tandem breastfed!) whilst breastfeeding so I'm not sure it can be contributed to that alone. I'm still trying to see if mine is down to prolactin but no answers yet. Have you had any bloods taken to see how your prolactin levels are?

@bunnykins123 11dpo so if it was anything it should be visible now I suppose.

It's weird. I can see the line in person and on the photo on my phone but not on the computer 🤔

MrsCristiano · 09/08/2022 08:36

@TheBirdintheCave I have taken hundreds of these tests in the past 6 months and I think that is the start of a line. When they are negative they are stark white. Fingers crossed lovely xx

TheBirdintheCave · 09/08/2022 08:38

@MrsCristiano I really hope it is but I feel like I'm just clutching at straws here. My husband is getting some FRERs today anyway so I suppose I'll know tomorrow either way 😬

balletshoes25 · 09/08/2022 08:40

@Aprilsunnyday re beer - mine has gone the opposite. Decided that he was drinking too much (which he really wasn't) and is now taking a month off alcohol. When He told me his plan, he also mentioned it might help when TTC - but this was entirely him, I had not mentioned this at all. So secretly quite pleased.

Downside is, I now feel very guilty if I have the odd glass of wine, but my view is, if I'm going to have 9 months off booze in the near future, I may as well make the most of it now!

To all in the testing period: gosh, it's so hard to resist isn't it!! For various reasons, I don't know when I ovulated this month. AF supposedly starting in next couple of days (although only second cycle post-MC so haven't really got into a rhythm yet). Took an early test this morning - but stark white... annoyed at myself for wasting a test. Telling myself to wait til Thursday or Friday now.

MrsCristiano · 09/08/2022 08:49

@TheBirdintheCave I know..the wait is it's own form of torture 😩 just don't waste me one on an hour hold like I tend to do🙄 everything crossed 😘

LuckyMoonstone · 09/08/2022 09:14

@bunnykins123 yes I think I remember you saying they were useless when yours wasn’t working. Well here’s hoping I won’t even need to resubscribe 🤞

Indianna2006 · 09/08/2022 09:19

@TheBirdintheCave oh it’s hard to tell isn’t it. Vague something but really need to squint I think. Deffo need a frer 🤞🏼

@MrsCristiano why are you peeing on a clearblue digital after one hour hold. Money down the drain you crazy lady 😂😅 good job you at work today.

praying you ladies are getting sticky beans. Looking forward to seeing darker frers and POSITIVE digitalis lol. Can’t believe they’ve been so many!

LuckyMoonstone · 09/08/2022 10:39

Ovusense has now resumed, but I missed the chance to download this mornings data so will have to wait until tomorrow now! I know I don’t need to take temps between O and AF but I like to see what’s going on.

Indianna2006 · 09/08/2022 11:00

@LuckyMoonstone I’m the same. I didn’t temp when trying before we mc. Only since. And I don’t bother everyday. I just do it few days before ovulation and after it to confirm it.
but I like to check my temp still high as easier to know AF is coming isn’t it when it drops.

but also think we can get obsessed with these temps. If it starts getting high I get excited and if I see a jump at like 9dpo. As mostly them cycles I have been pregnant. My pregnant charts tend to look diff. But a few odd ones have caught me out.

i also find some months my temp jumps loads after ovulation. And others it gradually climbs. Wonder why they is 🧐

Astar21 · 09/08/2022 11:08

BFN again at 12dpo 😔 think I must be out, as last time I had a positive by now. This is so hard.

Indianna2006 · 09/08/2022 11:11

@Astar21 😞 sorry hun. Hug for you. You could be in for a chance. But think you know your own body. I know 12dpo for me I’ve have positive tests the 4 times I’ve been pregnant. So if it’s negative for me then. I know that’s it. But we are all diff.

it bloody is hard. Already preparing myself for disappointment in 7 days time 🙈

Margo34 · 09/08/2022 11:55

@bunnykins123 Thanks for sharing, I've not heard of prolactin before, haven't had my prolactin levels tested, maybe I'll call and ask the GP if that's something they'll do. Have you had yours checked?

I've 'only' had 2 consecutive MC (the one before DC1 doesn't count apparently) so they might make me wait before they do any checks like that.

(Goes off to Google prolactin....)

pangolin84 · 09/08/2022 12:00

@Margo34 I’m in the same boat! Still breastfeeding my 22 month old. He usually feeds in the morning on waking and often again in the evening before bed. Recently he’s been asking for it in the day too as his back teeth are popping up. I’m trying to switch him to cow’s milk but he just screams for mummy’s milk.
I found this blog by an IBCLC qualified lactation consultant interesting, although not exactly reassuring! Lots of people successfully have babies while breastfeeding though.

pangolin84 · 09/08/2022 12:07

I’m also finding that breastfeeding is getting quite painful and aware that it’s likely to get worse if this pregnancy progresses 😬

Margo34 · 09/08/2022 12:30

@pangolin84 thanks for the article link, that's an interesting read. Are you thinking of weaning your nursling? I'm so torn. I love our special cuddles with "more" and I know DC1 gets a lot of comfort from it and doesn't seem to be near ready to give it up yet either. But I keep wondering. It's that niggle in the back of my mind!

Margo34 · 09/08/2022 12:31

pangolin84 · 09/08/2022 12:07

I’m also finding that breastfeeding is getting quite painful and aware that it’s likely to get worse if this pregnancy progresses 😬

It's the toddler acrobatics that I find painful but yes hadn't thought of pain!

MrsCristiano · 09/08/2022 12:44

@Indianna2006 oh no it's was an early digital one which is making me feel scared this won't stick ☹️ imagine peeing on a weeks indicator one even I'm not that mad 😂

Indianna2006 · 09/08/2022 12:49

@MrsCristiano oh no! I’m sure sure what sensitivity the early clearblue digital ones are. Off she goes to google.

was it digital Ultra early. It just digital early. As the ultra one is 10mui. But just early digital is 25miu. So isn’t even really that early imo.

most normal tests at 25miu so would be be like 12/13dpo to show on those imo at least.

MrsCristiano · 09/08/2022 12:52

@Indianna2006 it's was the flashy ultra early I'm nearly sure. Not testing again till Friday I can't be dealing with this stress. At least I'll be a day late on Friday. And I'm working all week now x

Indianna2006 · 09/08/2022 13:00

@MrsCristiano ahh yes. That’s annoying then. But obv if it was very faint on frer. The level could of been between 6.5mui and 10mui hence why it didn’t pick it up.

yes try leave it. It’s so bloody hard. But this early testing is also such a head fuck as well.

im gonna just try wait for my period 😂🙈🙈 never actually done that.

last cycle tested 13dpo first thing in morning. Pissed on a frer. Then literally wiped blood streight away ffs. So I held off as long as I could. But should of just wiped first and not tested 😂😂🤪

curliegirlie · 09/08/2022 14:19

@pangolin84 I thought I'd replied but it appears to have vanished! Breastfeeding isn't necessary really painful when pregnant - I breastfed DD1 until I was 6 months preggo, basically giving up because I didn't fancy tandem feeding. Hopefully current pain is tooth related, if so it will pass quickly! xxx

pangolin84 · 09/08/2022 15:13

@curliegirlie Ah thanks that’s good to know! Yes I think he’s biting down slightly just for comfort but it’s really amplified with the nipple sensitivity. I thought I had asbestos nips after this breastfeeding journey but turns out they can feel delicate after all 😂

mummatara · 09/08/2022 16:13

Wow so much to catch up on ladies 😍

@ready4rainbow ahhh rubbish sorry it was a dodgy test I find the strips so hard to interpret sometimes I never have a good line on the bloody things always squinters

@bunnykins123 haha fancy dress anyone 😂

@MrsCristiano it's a good one maybe it will come back in fashion if we all use it 🤣 I also wasted one of those early digital
I think it was 9dpo on an afternoon wee so don't feel bad it obviously came back not pregnant I then tried to do the last one in the morning and it registered an error waste of bloody money 😂

@LuckyMoonstone ooooh I really believe in signs I sure hope so 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave oh I see a line on that 🤞🏼at 11dpo I had zero lines on those strips I got squinters at 12dpo!

@balletshoes25 oh it's so hard not to test isn't it

@Astar21 oh rubbish lovely ☹️ I suppose there is always a small chance but I would have thought you would see something at 12dpo. Big hugs

@Indianna2006 i have never not tested early I just don't think I have it in me to wait 😂😂
