Scan went very well this morning! Measures 7+3 (New Year's conception) and has a heartbeat - hooray for me and sambrads
Am very relieved, now planning to remain as positive as I can. Spotting stopped yesterday, had a bit of orangey-brown CM today but looking a lot better than before.
kate my doc was rubbish at reassuring me. she was the one the put the wind up us when I told her I was spotting before going on holiday. she even said, 'do you think that's wise to go away? the airlines don't like it if your bleeding, you could have a miscarriage on the flight' . and so began a traumatic couple of weeks. I'm hoping to speak to her as little as possible from now on and just deal with the hospital and midwives who have more specialist experience.
I'd ignore your doctor and surround yourself with positive people who think positive thoughts
emmsy if you ov'ed earlier, then AF should be due earlier. Do you know how long your luteal phase is? As for cervix position, I think it's supposed to harden up and move down lower but not as low as if AF were due.
fairy I read on FF that BD-ing 2 days before Ov is the optimum time, so best of luck!
noam I used to get sensitive nips and get a lot 'softer' down below when ov'ing. i believe that was my body's way of getting me in the mood...altho sometimes those moods would swing and I would start an argument with DH.
mibbes you go girl! make sure DH doesn't get too pissed either, and slip him some brazil nuts (good for the little fellas)
