Hi Claire I'm fine thanks apart from feeling tired (which is usual) I have no symptoms. I'm not on the graduate list yet because I'm too scared. I'm only CD23 so it is very early days & my 2 CP's leave me a little worried. I'll graduate soon.

I see you are CD27 any news for you yet? Fingers crossed for you.

MrsEi25 · 05/02/2008 16:12

hi ladies
OMG!!!!KATE!!!! what amazing fantastic news you deserve an excellent preg now after all the heartache you have had the past week or two!!! CONGRATULATIONS mibbes i havent tested yet dear!! you are spurring me on (with fear) to wait for a bit i am not due on til sat/sunday if i go by my regular periods so i will leave it until at least friday promise
how is everyone else???
xx ei xx

clouisewood · 05/02/2008 16:49

Kate That is excellent news!! What a mixture of emotions you must be feelings. Fingers crossed for an easy pregnancy hun, I would think that the scan would accurate than the blood tests!!

EI...Bet you are counting down the days!!

Any information about CM? I didn't test this month but there is something not right about my period. Again, at lunch today I had a massive rush of blood.

Hope everyone in ok.

piper1984 · 05/02/2008 19:57

Hey Ladies,

How are you all doing today? Hope everyone is good! I cracking up here at the moment, on day 25 and mad to do a test but no its too early to test so have to wait and see but i have no patience! and really dont want to see a BFN. DH reckons i shouldnt do a test until i 2 or 3 weeks late dont think i'll last that long

clouisewood · 05/02/2008 20:01

Why isit that men always want us to test ages after a missed period? My DP is always saying, "Just wait a few more days...." and so on.

I said CM earlier but I meant CP...

MrsEi25 · 05/02/2008 20:13

clouise have you done a test to see if anything is goin on? i know it is a strange thing to ask but it has been known for people to have a 'period' and than find out that they are actually preg iyswim i dont know much about CPs TBH but from what people have said who have had one it is like a really heavy AF.
piper i know what you mean about being itching to test i am too but i am deffo goin to wait til friday or saturday to test as i think it is too early to tell anythin yet so hold on dear we can test together if you want (virtually obv. it would be like syncronised peeing) we have only got a couple more days to wait...
where is everyone today??....hheeeellllllooooo.....
xx ei xx

clouisewood · 05/02/2008 20:30

It's v quiet isn't it..

EI Too be honest if there was something there then I don't think there is anymore and i'd prob get BFN anyway...not sure I would want to get BFP when i've bled this much as i doubt it would stick...I mentioned before that I think I had annovulatory cycle last month so maybe it's connected to that. Think i'll temp and do OPKs this month. The only thing that worries me is that i'm RH- and if I had a CP i'm sure sure if i'd need anti-d...

piper1984 · 05/02/2008 20:34

Hey Mrsei25 yeah your right, i'll hang on till friday or saturday too, pref saturday, god i mad to test but at the same time really dont want to see that BFN! was in tescos today and resisted buying a HPT, v proud of myself ---

Kate I am soooo delighted to hear your unexpected good news . You must be over the moon. I can't believe what that evil nurse said given that it was not conclusively a mc. Anyway wishing you all the best and hopefully you can graduate onto the Sept thread soon .

I had another -ve opk and no more fertile CM so still waiting for the egg. Could be another week to wait as can have 35 day cycles... wish it would hurry up !

Clouise I've had two chemical Pregnancies since May and they have both been like a slightly heavier AF. I wouldn't have known I was PG if I hadn't done an HPT and I always tests early as my doctor told me if I had 3 CP's in a row she would refer me for tests.

I did another HPT today (still only CD24 but 14 dpo) and the lines came up straight away and strong too. Lets hope this is a sticker. I'm still not ready to graduate, I think once I get past my pervious record I will feel ready.

Good luck those testing in the next few days.

mibbes · 06/02/2008 11:27

Morning Ladies,
Another "yipeee" for Kate and her bean, I wasn't online for long yesterday but was delighted to see your news Kate . Are you feeling happier now that you have seen heartbeat ? Has it sunk in that all is well ?
FruitLoop how are you getitng on with temping ? Have the MNers on your PCOS thread given you lots of useful advice ? How are you feeling today ?
So CBs where are we ? EleveId & Treats have you both ov'd now ? never how are things with you today ? I had a significant temp drop this morning so suspect ov is imminent but no +ve opk as yet... will try to get a bd in tonight anyway.

fruitloop79 · 06/02/2008 12:00

Morning girls,

Hi mibbes Well, to begin with, the chart I was sent with the thermometer only goes up to 40days! that's nothing!
I'm on 45 today So I photocopied it and thought it a good idea to count day 5 as 45 (today). So, I had the thermometer and chart all set out for this morning but I woke before my alarm (about 15 mins) and tried to get back to sleep. But I didnt really sleep so I assumed this would affect my temp as I'd already been awake 15 mins. Does it make a difference if this happens? I still feel really but more now. It just doesn't seem fair that, seemingly, most people (ie, almost all my mates) can decide when they want a baby and bang they're pg. I just can't get my head round it.
I know I'm amazingly fortunate to already have DS but I know if I was actually TTC him it would've taken a long time (I wasn't really taking the pill for 3 yrs before hand)

PCOSers are very helpful, makes me realise there really are people a lot more worse off than me.

OP posts:
JollyBear · 06/02/2008 13:26

FL I think give or take 15 or so is fine for temp taking. If you wake up a bit early again just take your temp and it shouldn't make much difference. I took mine something like 3 hours later than normal after a weekend lie in and thought the hugely high temp meant I'd ov ! As I say 15 mins shouldn't make a big difference though so don't worry. I now set my alarm at the weekends and go back to sleep .

It is annoying about the chart! Like you say, start at 45 and go on from there.

It must be really hard with your friends all falling pregnant without trying. It is really frustrating but you are amongst friends here who are having a similar time

Eleveld · 06/02/2008 13:51

hi Mibbes

Haven't a clue if I've ovulated or not as I don't think I notice any symptoms. All I had was the +ve OPK on Sun afternoon.

If you don't count the couple of days of spotting I'm on CD 15 today.

Managed to BD on CD 9, 10, 12 and 13.
Didn't manage it last night and am a bit concerned that I didn't manage it on CD 14 as isn't this meant to be the crucial day if you have a normally regular 28 day cycle?

fruitloop79 · 06/02/2008 13:54

thanks JollyBear Trouble is I'm such a light sleeper that if I set my alarm at the weekend I'll never go back to sleep! My alarm goes at 6.15am (too early for the weekend!). I'm gonna try again tomorrow. Think I'll have a go at fertility friend again. It messed up my calender last time I looked (my trial ran out) so i refused to go back but I'm aware now that the temp chart on there goes on for as many days as you like. I've been warned against temping with PCOS but gotta find the egg somehow!

Hi Mibbes

I THINK I've ov'd now. I haven't had any EWCM today, although I had lots at the beginning of the week. I've had a bit of pain, but nothing like last month, when I had a serious ache for a whole evening, so I'm not sure if it was ov pain or not.

I'm on Day 15 today, so that's probably about right. I always get really painful breasts in the two weeks leading up to my period, so I'll be looking out for those as a definite sign that I've ov'd. Although, given the number of times I surreptitiously squeeze or pummel them during the day to see if they're hurting or not, it's really quite hard to tell

I think I'll carry on bd'ing for the rest of the week, just in case. DH is beginning to look a bit tired......

mibbes · 06/02/2008 16:23

tee hee Treats good on you tiring out DH excellent effort !
