Hi ladies,
How is every one today!!!!
NOAM & MrsEi I've been very good, still no test! DH said he gonna hide my wallet so i cant buy one until next week gonna try and hold out until Friday 15th if AF doesnt come before then and if it does, sure round 2 clomid here i come!!!! Just wondering has anyone had any dizzyness symptoms? been mad dizzy which never had before?

but then again am gone really pale which is a big AF sign for me sorry i'm just driving myself mad here with symptoms

clouisewood · 06/02/2008 19:17

Noam and MTW Blood still red today and less clotty...no massive rushes which I was pleased about. It's really difficult to get to the toilet when you have 18 5/6 year olds...guess i'm lucky to only have 18 in my class...thank god for private education lol!!
Decided that i'm not going to test because if it was CP then it's gone and i don't think i'm bleeding because i'm pg. Maybe it is just a weird AF. If it happens again next month then I might go and see GP. Thanks for advice.

How is every1 else today? Any testers?

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 19:26

Hi Clouisewood

i'm still hanging around, v quiet in the waiting room today! still holding out on the testing, have decided to leave it until next week
I had something like wat your describing before, it lasted a full week but then AF came

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 19:41

evening girls
how is everyone today??
piper wow you must have iron clad willpower to wait til 15th feb!! i am havin to sit on my hands to resist testing but up til now i have kept strong i am defo gonna test at the weekend though AF is due then aswell so hopefully i will get a BFP or she will arrive early for me so i dont have to waste a test
FL sorry you are still feeling / but im sure that as soon as you get a proper view of your cycle you will get your BFP- PCOS or not my friend has 4 AFs a year and has figured out just by a bit of research (not for TTC purposes) that she ovs about 8 times a year so twice each cycle iyswim that was by using opks and temping etc obv she has got PCOS aswell or that info would be useless to you she is also on the low GI diet and has lost weight which helped alot (not that you need to but she was quite a big girl before she was diagnosed) hope you feel better soon
how is everyone else??
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 19:57

Howdi MrsEi

its not me who has all the will power ................ its DH, he hates seeing BFN so his theory is wait until i'm a week late then test, so fingers crossed , really hope i dont get AF!!!

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 19:59

ye my DH hates the BFN so i just do a test and dont tell him when it is BFN i just come on here and have a moan so i dont spill all to DH
xx ei xx

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 19:59

Oh yeah forgot to put in last post, have you ever had any dizzyness symptoms, v light headed all day, never had anything like it before

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 20:02

yeah i hopeless at not telling him i'm doing the test, i the exact same every time, i get all mad excited before testing ~(like a little puppie before walkies!!!) and tell him i testing and then............ BFN hate BFN, tests should say try again later instead of BFN

clouisewood · 06/02/2008 20:15

Any symptoms piper?

I'm wondering tonight if some of us have had CP and not realised...I did a bit of reading up on it tonight and apparently 50% of pregnancies are CP?

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 20:15

piper lol at try again later- like a magic 8 ball i only had all day dizziness when preg but at around 8 weeks or so in my experience have you had any blood tests recently? do you have to have them for the clomid? maybe you are a bit anaemic esp as you say you get pale when you are due AF you never know this may be your big symptom for BFP

I changed my name from clouisewood to sparklymummy ... I have been using the same user name for hotmail and so on and I know a lot of my friends are fellow MNers and I haven't told people i'm TTC...hope this doesnt confuse people too much!

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 20:27

Hi clouisewood when i had the weird AF it was about 3 yrs ago --- we had just started ttc, i didnt test at all but was feeling tired and a bit queasy, the real AF came about a week after that tho, was upsetting at the time cause was convinced i was pg , anyhoooo 3yrs on lets hope the clomid does the job!!! have you done a test yet???

MrsEi

SparklyMummy · 06/02/2008 20:35

LOL I love sparklymummy....my sister has a cat called Sparky and my DD always calls the cat spark-i-ley and her prenounciation makes me laugh..I wish i actually was a sparklymummy - I need more energy.

EI How about EiJane; that's a bit crap...i'll keep thinking.
Piper Am guilty of being a serial tester..this is the first month I haven't tested and that's only because AF got me on day 28 of a usually up to 25 day cycle. I used to test all the time even when we we'rent TTC. The weird thing is that DD was 2 in October and we have been having unprotected sex since she was about 6 months old (not TTC but not being careful either)...so I guess this getting pg has taken me a lot longer than I thought.

SparklyMummy · 06/02/2008 20:37

*up to 35 day cycle and weren't: sorry for all the posts lol

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 20:43

Sparklymummy i was just as bad with the testing, i tested all the time before we started ttc i then continued with my serial testing while ttc tho i have to say that in the last few months i've just stopped buying tests, cause i really hate seeing the BFN,
wonder will Clear blue bring out a magic eight ball type one that reads try again later?!?! would be good

Ei

Eijane is good, you should use that

SparklyMummy · 06/02/2008 20:45

I find that if you have a test in the house then you will use it anyway whether you've got symptoms or the DP/DH tries to get you to wait a bit longer...had I have kept a test in the house this month then I would prob have used it. They are too expensive!!

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 20:53

LOL Yep that is sooooooooooooo true
its mad really, even if you know in your heart of hearts that your not pg, ya still test, its mad, i'm like that too, thats why i dont buy them,

they should invent some sort of a patch, like a nicorette patch except this one controls the "i must test cravings!"

SparklyMummy · 06/02/2008 21:05

LOL Piper

I'm going to log off now and watch Sex with Mum and Dad on BBC3..it's quite funny.

Just wondering, does anyone religiously take folic acid? I was sooo good the first time round but now i'm not so good. That's bad isn't it - tell me off so I can feel guilty and make more of an effort!!

piper1984 · 06/02/2008 21:13

ok Sparklymummy

will chat you tomorrow! I bad at taking the folic acid too, have got better over the last few weeks tho

Does anybody know if my DH should be taking any vitamins or anything?????

MrsEi25 · 06/02/2008 21:35

sparkly i keep forgetting to take my FA aswell i think it is your mind trying to stop you from obsessing...shame it cant do more about the symptom spotting/serial testing etc
piper i dont know about the DP/Hs taking vitamins. i think they get off awfully lightly with the not obsessing/ not having to change lifestyle much etc they should have to take vits aswell!!
xx ei xx

twinklingfairy · 06/02/2008 23:16

Oh I am awful at taking my FA too
When I was at the docs, he asked and I told him that I hadn't been bothering for the last month. I had been not too bad for the previous 5 though!! But he still gave me a big shocked and slightly angry look. Then said, well it is your risk, but I know I wouldn't take it (the risk) and it is only a vitamin.
Guilt trip big time, so I am trying to be good again.
He is the same doc who, when my iron levels were low, quizzed me on what I was eating and therefore what dd was getting (she was still BF but not exclusively, at 9mo or so) then scoffed that peas and strawberries don't constitute a rounded diet of fruit and veg. It was summer and we were getting them fresh from the garden and I happen to love peas. I felt so foolish but I wasn't really given a chance to explain that of course she and I got others, they were just 2 that I thought of at the time.

Oops that was an unexpected rant. He seems like a nice man but a little judgmental. But not unjustly so, perhaps, but it still irks to be judged, so blatantly, by a stranger.
