Two week wait, needing some company!

Hi everyone 👋
I've had two miscarriages, one in November 2021, and one in January 2022. Me and my partner have been trying for over a year. We have tried really hard this month to catch ovulation by using OPK's. I'm currently in the dreaded 2WW.

Anyone else out there in the same position? Would love some company in this tricky time! X

I feel like my period is going to come today, I have the usual feeling of ache/ full feeling/ cramp down below and I just feel super hormonal and some fanny daggers to add insult to injury!

I think I'm out but will update you all as and when. My period has form for being late every month so I'm going to give it another day or so before popping out and buying more tests but I think its unlikely!

Its an awful wait isn't it? A full cycle feels so long, waiting for ovulation and then another two weeks for the test results seems to take forever!

I havent tested today as im going to leave it till tomorrow or thursday when my periods due, ive gone from thinking i had implantation bleeding at 8dpo to taking a test at 11dpo (yesterday) and i feel completely silly and crazy for thinking i was pregnant this cycle, negative yesterday so i really think im out this month. I really dont understand why i was so convinced i was, its so strange isnt it? ☹

I feel exactly the same as you! I cant help but cling onto the last bit of hope, even though I have all the same pre period cramps etc I'm 12dpo today, so exact cycle day as you!

Good luck for your next test, if I can find the guys to retest (unless period comes!) I will be joining you doing another test within the next few days

Ive caved and tested already, still negative i can see a faint second line but i think its an evap for sure.
Im just preparing myself for another period now. ☹ its so sad isnt it.
I saw a woman who was pregnant today and i was just so jelous. ☹😣 why cant it just happen for us too?

@BabyBXx I don't want to get your hopes up bit I can actually see a very faint line there. I would definitely test again in 2 days.

@Summerbreeze111 I know exactly how you both feel. I tested again today 12dpo due to nausea and BFN and I burst into tears in the middle of work. We've been trying for over a year and the journey is draining me. I try to be so positive but its so hard. I feel really alone apart from talking on here. No one prepares you for how tricky it all is xx

@BabyBXx does the line have a pink colour to it?... I can see it and I wouldn't say if I couldn't because I don't want to get your hopes up xx

@SylvieArth really? I can see it very very faintly but i dont know if its pink or grey so im very confused 😩 have any of your tests had evaps? I dont know what to think...
Ive used the 2 pack of tests now so need to get some more, AF due thursday and ive all the typical symptoms of it starting my boobs hurt bad now, im emotional, the list goes on haha. I hate this!!! How are you feeling lovely? Xxxx

@SylvieArth im so sorry hunny i feel the same. I cried all last night and this morning thinking its never going to happen ☹
Stay positive and i pray for you to get your bfp soon, i hope we all do ❤ the wait is agonising, and what i hate is the fact our bodies give us symptoms to make us think this is our month, all for us to be dissapointed again. Its so hard xxx

I've just gone for a wee and there is a tiny bit of blood, the very start of the witch coming. I feel bloody awful, physically and mentally tbh. The thing is, it's only our first month trying after waiting ttc for 2 years due to different factors I had stupidly pinned all my hopes on getting a positive response quite quickly. Very stupid of me, I know! I've gone on social media today and two pregnancy announcements and two late pregnancy photoshoots! Bleh I feel grim. DP doesn't seem phased by it, but I'm like 😮‍💨

I definately see a faint line!! Definately retest as soon as you can, and keep us updated. Wishing you all the luck in the world 😊

I had a bunch of escape two cycles ago, very confusing but mine def looked grey rather than pink. I’ve attached a pic of one I had.

updating on my 8dpo ‘symptoms’ just some very light (imaginary?) cramping. Probably just food related sigh bodies!🙄 and I’m tired but I’m always tired!

Test this morning (13dpo) still faint but stronger so I'm thinking this might actually be happening!! Can't believe it...
Hope the baby dust rubs off on everyone! For interest, this was the month we used pressed, and I told OH I wasn't really invested in trying (DD1 has been I'll so was super tired), which made him say "I'm going to get you pregnant" and be super proactive... 😂Hooray! But also damn him... Haha

Congratulations! I’ve not heard of preseed.
here is my 10dpo… perhaps a bit darker than yesterday? I’ve ordered a digital but part of me is still expecting AF any minute. Can early pregnancy feel like period pain or is that a bad sign?

@Bluepiano that's a great line!! Congrats! Yes definitely - cramping and strange achy feelings totally normal for early pregnancy. So exciting if this is your first! (Preseed is conception safe lube - most lubes or even saliva really mess with sperm motility.)

I am now 3 days late for my period (which is always spot on regular) and tested again this morning but it was negative. I am so so confused now! My only hope is that because I have a 26 day cycle, I’m only 13 days post ovulation so maybe not enough hcg to show up on a standard test? I used up all the early response ones (to early probably) but will get more today. Does anyone know if that might be the case or would you normally expect a positive 13 days post ovulation on a regular test?

Im testing negative on normal FR tests but ive ordered some early response ones as im at home today so waiting for amazon to deliver them and then..il test again!🙈 im due on AF tomorrow. Im so nervous to test again 😓🤞..

Ladies yesterday, I was cleaning my upstairs and when i twisted to the slide amd bent down i had this VERY sharp stabbing pain in the centre of my uterus area! I was like... surely this has to be a pregnancy? Ive had stabbing pains in my right side too coming & going all week.

I dont know if the normal FR dont detect very early HCG but i feel like im going crazy 😩😩 what are these pains if im not pregnant? Its sooooo strange!!

@BabyBXx good luck with tests - hope they arrive soon! I'm 13dpo and only getting a very faint line on normal tests, so think it's totally feasible that HCG for you wouldn't be high enough yet to show on a normal test.... Keeping everything crossed!

Still no period from me, but really bad cramps last night! A little unusual as I usually only get cramps the day of my period. I'm confused but then I'm second guessing myself wondering whether, I actually do normally get cramps several days before!!
