RMS0209 · 29/03/2022 09:43

Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@RMS0209 yeah it's very annoying, have been on them for a few years - then TTC makes you want to add a load to the mix!!
Hope they get back to you quickly :) x

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 09:21

@alwaysseeingstars nothing from them yet! I think I will go and call so I know either way, I don't make anything easy for myself do I... oopsie.
How are you getting on today? x

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 09:24

@RMS0209 Might as well, puts your mind at ease :)

I'm good thanks, now in the chilled phase of no pain and no stressful waiting, can just enjoy the relationship with no stress/pressure for a while haha!

Hope you're good other than unsure on the test?!

How's everyone doing today? @Rhianne18 do you know when you can expect your results back?

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 09:34

@alwaysseeingstars I phoned them, I can send it today and pay for next day guaranteed by 1pm delivery (which is about £10) and somebody will get it then, so I think I will go for that? rather than worrying all month about silly thing's.

haha that sounds IDEAL!
All good here :) happy its Friday! will make the next 2/3 days go quick.

@Rhianne18 yes good luck on results. x

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 09:39

@RMS0209 obviously it's dependent on your financial situation but if you can afford to I would definitely say go for it, otherwise it'll be on your mind all month :) x

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 09:42

@alwaysseeingstars if it meant giving up my take away for the weekend I would ha ha.
No it's fine I can afford it and i'd rather get it and I might be able to "relax" a little bit more and know that i've done everything right/i can so far this month.. silly how our minds work isnt it! x

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 10:01

oh no! I had to use all 3 admittedly and it did take a while... try doing some starjumps if it doesn't make you look like a total loony at work GrinGrin

Tigergirl37 · 01/04/2022 10:19

Morning all - just to update - I haven't phoned the GP because since 1pm yesterday (CD23 of my normally regular 27 day cycle) I've had no bleeding at all other than a very faint watery pinky smear on the paper when I wiped this morning. However yesterday I bled from 11 for about 2 hours and filled a whole pad (only medium flow - the shorter ones with no wings) with what looked like red blood. So far from conclusive that this is an IB but obviously I'm now desperately hoping it is and I guess I'll just have to sit it out until I can test when AF is due which should be Monday.

Tigergirl37 · 01/04/2022 10:21

@RMS0209 good luck with the tests! It's always good when you feel like you can do something proactive.

Lua2020 · 01/04/2022 10:22

Hi guys I’m TTC #2 this will be cycle 7 and 35 we were lucky and conceived within 3 months with our daughter! I keep trying to remember seeing pink lines on a test from that pregnancy it’s like I’m trying to manifest it so I see those two pink lines again completely bonkers I know but why is it so hard to see two pink lines the longer you try the harder it seems it’s going to happen! but it will it’s not impossible and sometimes not just any sperm will do! So ladies hang In there and hoping you all get those 2 pink lines this month! My partners mates Mrs is pregnant with her 2nd and when he told me I rolled my eyes 😂 but then I thought why am I getting annoyed it’s not her fault is it! I did the whole temping thing and lh strips drove me mental!! So none of that this month just going to chill! And it’s nice to know we are not alone and the struggle is real! Sorry for the random message literally just said what’s being going through my mind and feels good to vent

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 10:29

@Tigergirl37 oh I breally hope it is IB! It all sounds like it is other than the 2 hours yesterday... but every body is different, I didn't get any IB at all! So there's no easy rule book unfortunately, but keeping fingers crossed for you - not too long to wait to test!

@Lua2020 welcome :) you're definitely not alone, lots of lovely ladies on here all part of the crazy jourrney...

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 10:54

@alwaysseeingstars I couldn't even get enough blood to the 400 line :( i've just emailed to ask for more kits and some more of the jabbers!

My week is not going as planned😩 had to pick up DS from uni he rang me in tears in the middle of work so DTD is the last thing on my mind atm
Best laid plans and all that 😕

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 11:09

@RMS0209 oh no Sad how annoying!!

@MrsGrealish I'm sorry to hear that, I hope your DS is ok?? And hope you manage to get some time alone with DH at least..

MrsGrealish · 01/04/2022 11:24

@alwaysseeingstars thanks xx I've a dr appointment for him but I feel happier now he's home. I'm only CD9 atm so it's still early enough in my fertile week. 🙏

Tigergirl37 · 01/04/2022 11:36

@Lua2020 I almost feel like I was reading something I would write when I read your post. Totally recognise your experience - a random vent is always good.

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 11:36

Ah that's good for both points, I hope the Dr is able to help. Look after yourself too xx

Tigergirl37 · 01/04/2022 11:40

Thank you @alwaysseeingstars and @RMS0209 - literally scared to go to the toilet in case I see anything on my pad - anyway good luck to all on this thread wherever you are in your cycle.

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 11:53

@MrsGrealish oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope he is ok and you are too.

I am on CD22 and I seem to have had a drop in progesterone but a second rise in estrogen and also LH.

Does anyone know if the progesterone drop if an issue as I thought it should stop closer to AF if not pregnant?
