Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@RMS0209 thanks for the heads up! I had 9 days of flashing smilies last month which drove me crazy, carried on one extra day (I know, they tell you not to haha) and on the 10th day got the static!

@MrsGrealish definitely agree with the vit D recommendation, it's amazing the difference it can make just in day to day feelings!

alwaysseeingstars · 31/03/2022 12:52

@Tigergirl37 good plan, hopefully it stays nice and light - I think I've read IB can last up to 3 days? Don't quote me on that though :)

RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 12:57

@Tigergirl37

Thanks *@alwaysseeingstars* - here's hoping - I'm going to try and get on with my day and call the GP tomorrow.
Please let us know what GP says x

For those of you that track estradoil, do these levels sound ‘normal’ or is the dip too steep?

Day 19 - 182
Day 20 - 43
Day 21 - 71

alwaysseeingstars · 31/03/2022 14:57

Medichecks have already given my results, v quick!!
Lots of low levels in pretty much everything they tested, but just within the normal range. The main ones they've highlighted as being a bit too low are oestradiol and SHBG - I'll be lost to google later!
But healthy thyroid and results look unlikely to be suffering from PCOS so that's set my mind at ease :)

If anyone knows anything about low oestradiol and SHBG please do feel free to comment, I'm sure I'll fall down a Dr Google rat hole later haha!

RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 15:08

@alwaysseeingstars goodness that was very quick! Glad you have them already. I am due to do my CD3 test tomorrow so will get that posted.

No idea about those things I am afraid! Hopefully somebody else can help x

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 31/03/2022 15:18

@Longbin sorry I think your query is similar to one of mine! My oestradiol level was at 50pmol/l, the range says it should be 45-854! But that's on CD3 so I'm not sure what the range should be for your days?

thanks @RMS0209 :) very happy that whilst some things are low, there's no bad problems they've found.
Hope yours go well, definitely make sure you drink lots and have warm hands before you do your test :) x

Longbin · 31/03/2022 15:27

I’ve just realised my measurements are ug/ml not pmol/l, I didn’t state that earlier!

@alwaysseeingstars had day 3 tests done at the doctor and was advised normal range for follicular is 71.6-529 pmol/l

RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 15:29

@alwaysseeingstars what time did you do yours at? Just out of interest

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 31/03/2022 15:36

@Longbin ah ok!
Oh really? I guess that's why they said mine was a bit too low then, if the real 'good' range is 71.6-529...

@RMS0209 I did it at around 9:30am :) just make sure you can get it to a priority postbox before collection time!

RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 15:42

@alwaysseeingstars great thank you so much! I need to leave for work at 7 tomorrow so I will need to try get somebody at work to help rather than my other half haha x

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 31/03/2022 15:44

@RMS0209 you can do it before you go if you have time, it just says to do it in the morning :) otherwise I'm sure someone will help, I promise it's not bad!! Although I do give blood regularly so I'm used to it, my DH couldn't even watch what I was doing haha x

RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 17:45

@alwaysseeingstars I will be sure to let you know how I get on tomorrow 😬 CD2... just enjoying not stressing for a few days 😃 x
**@RMS0209* very similar to what I take, I'm going to order some B6 and vitamin C tomorrow, like @Nyxxie* I always go for the Amazon recommends. I read that the Coq10 helps with the health of your eggs and sperm too! I'm encouraging DH to take them too!

Does anyones OH take any vitamins? Agree with the thread for them too 😂
Hi @Rhianne18 we’re on cycle 5, and yes we both take lots of supplements!

DH takes:
Berocca
CoQ10
D aspartic acid
Fenugreek
Vit D
Clean maca
😅

DogsAndGin · 31/03/2022 18:01
@RMS0209 yes we just might be 😂 oh yes, please let me know, happy to share what I’m taking too if you’re interested. Good luck, hope there’s lots of good news for you 🤞🏼

@DogsAndGin Hello, don’t give up hope, keeping everything crossed for you! Can I ask what the ‘purple plan’ is? Holiday sounds lush, also you’re much more relaxed when you’re away too 🙌🏼☀️

@Presently83 yes, I’m sure all is okay! Similar to us, DH has children from a previous relationship but he’s a lot older now so we want to check what our chances are! Fingers crossed for his appointment.

That’s pretty much what I take, with addition of VitalDHA and b12! What other vitamins have you introduced?

I don’t know about anyone else, but by taking vitamins I feel like I’m doing my best to help the process as I have no control over anything else! 😂
@Rhianne18 👋

I only just heard of the ‘purple plan’ - it was on a thread the other day - advised from a fertility specialist apparently.

 1. DTD/ejaculate on CD7 (to empty his stock!)
 2. Allow regeneration, no emissions yet…
 3. DTD on CD11, CD13, CD15

But, I have a short cycle, a short LP, and short stamina! So, we going to tweak it slightly.

It may have been a diff post - but I also read that if you have a regular cycle and regular ovulation, don’t bother testing with OPKs. I am like clockwork, so I’m not taking any with me on hols, so I can just relax and enjoy

Rhianne18 · 31/03/2022 18:41

Just catching up, had a manic day at work today!

@MrsGrealish oh amazing, if you don't understand it then I've got no hope 😂

@Tigergirl37 good luck with speaking to the GP, let us know how you get on!

@DogsAndGin thank you for sharing your DH supplements, I'm going to have a little look into vitamins for DH. Oh that plan sounds nice and simple, and most importantly stress free, without the constant testing! I don't always ovulate at the same time each month, so maybe we could trying it but start it a few days later! Really what to try take the pressure off next month and take a more relaxed approach, I say that but know I'll cave with the tests!

@alwaysseeingstars your results came back really quick! Although on the low side glad that everything has came back okay for you! ☺️

Purple method incase anybody would like to save it :)
Thank you so much @RMS0209 This sounds pretty simple and easy to adjust to your cycle length! Being irregular I suppose we could always add an extra one in later for "luck" 😂
RMS0209 · 31/03/2022 23:17

@Rhianne18 being irregular must be frustrating! What has your last few cycles been? X

OP posts:
Longbin · 31/03/2022 23:37

I’ll try this @RMS0209. I only manage to do it once or twice in my ovulation window now to be honest. I need to mix things up 😂

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 08:25

Morning all!
I am due to take my CD3 bloods today.. but it says on the instructions to take Monday-Thursday...I don't know if I will still be bleeding on Monday CD6 ahh what a stress! I've emailed them to see what they think.
Might not be able to take until next month, what a faff! x

OP posts:
alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 08:40

@Longbin we're the same, going to have to work on that 😂

@RMS0209 let us know how you found taking the test :)

Anyone got any experience with the Seven Seas Trying for a Baby tablets vs the Pregnacare Before Conception tablets? I've been taking the SS ones but it looks like there's more vits in the Pregnacare ones, the only thing that put me off is I've read from a lot of people they can mess with your cycle? & with an irregular cycle I don't want anything else throwing it out...

But at the same time I don't want to add more supplements (vit D & Iron seem to be important for the things I'm low on) as I already take 12 tablets a day 😂

alwaysseeingstars · 01/04/2022 08:42

@RMS0209 sorry just seen yours. Their live chat is really quick, and there's only certain ones they say can't be taken on Fri-Sun so you may be ok :) x

RMS0209 · 01/04/2022 08:42

They dont open until 9, but ive sent a message already so hopefully her back by 9.15 :) if not i'll get on the phone again.. grr hope I am ok, will just be more stress that I don't want haha x
