Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@MO22 who knew DTD would become exhausting... 😄 I have had a drop in temp to 36.01 today but Ovusense will probably need a few days to confirm it which I am ok with, I will do another OPK at 11 and see what it says. I am staying optimsitc! 3 more baby dances to do and I can RELAX
@MrsGrealish if you ladies are meaning feel the Ovusense I can't feel it at all, it's nice smooth materials!

@Nyxxie woo thank you! My app was playing up yesterday, I closed it then signed out and in and now I get notifications of comments which is very handy. How are you doing?

@pocketbunny well I am hoping and crossing all my fingers I get no AF this month.. but we will see! What DPO are you today?

@RMS0209 thanks I have just done the same and it seems to be working better now!

I am doing ok thanks, 7dpo today and doing my best not to symptom spot! I must say I am very impressed that you managed to keep up with DTD so frequently throughout the month, I don't think my OH and I would have had the stamina 🤣

@RMS0209 I know nothing about temping, I suppose I should start learning! Does a drop in temp mean ovulation is on the way? I guess I should still use OPKs this month to align it all? What are you using now, I've fallen out badly with CB...

@Nyxxie I'm with you, couldnt do every other day all month! DH is SO lazy lol, and even I would lack the stamina. Hoping to aim for every other day this cycle in fertile window, and then day of and day after ovulation. I'm CD3 and already gearing myself up, although no clue if or when I'll ovulate this month, praying the ovusense does it all for me!

Good luck with not symptom spotting, it's so hard isn't it! Are you waiting for AF to test or testing with an early?

@RMS0209 Of course you don't want AF to show up, why the heck did I ask that :/ Sorry, sickness brain... I have my fingers crossed no AF for you!!

I am 12dpo I think. AF due in 3 days.

@alwaysseeingstars I'm not sure yet, tbh my luteal phase so far has been so short that by the time I'm far enough past ov to have a chance of getting a positive result AF usually shows anyway. Might try and squeeze in a cheapie on 9DPO if I make it that far!

@Nyxxie really hope you can get to/past 9 days without AF appearing (and get a BFP, obviously!!)

I just spent ten mins reading about the Mira and now I'm sold on that too... Surely I can't buy another 👀

@RMS0209 just had another thought, at least now you know you can do your progesterone test 😃(did you get extra lancets by the way to get enough blood out?!)

@MO22 I feel you with the lazy DH 🤣 I'm also pretty tired after 12 hour shifts so not a good combo. @RMS0209 is definitely some kind of DTD hero!!

I've not really looked into any of these gadgets but I'm intrigued.. what's the Mira?

Mira charts all your hormones rather than just LH, and the ovusense does BBT I think?? Together, perhaps they are the answer?
I think I should maybe wait and try the Ovusense first lol 👀

Way yay 7DPO! Symptom spotting is the worst - least it is nearly the weekend that will keep you busy for a few days.

Haha, I am impressed at myself too.. can tell OH is running out of steam though, my premom app has never saw so many love hearts on it 🤣 I just need 3 more dances from us and I will be content for this month.

@MO22 I'm not too sure with the temping since it's my first month with the ovu, I think it'll confirm it in a few days hopefully. I'd still use your OPK's though as because it's my first cycle and doesn't know me yet it hasn't noted I've peaked or anything?
But I am in bad mood with clear blue too so I am just using cheap easy @ home strips from Amazon and uploading to premom 😀

@alwaysseeingstars I know yay to get my test, well I phoned the DR and was upset because I couldn't get enough blood out my finger and he agreed I can get it done at the surgery more to put my mind at ease I think, I'll need to work on the day 3/5 bloods but just happy about the progesterone one.. fingers crossed! X

Is anybody else's app playing up? mines started working yesterday but now... not playing ball! today must be my peak, took a cracker of a picture but can't get it on yet.. so to follow, premom gave it a 1.8... roll on the last few dances then its time to drive myself crazy for two weeks! x

Yeah it's a strong looking one, heading out to the cinema tonight but will sweet charm OH with food on my way home then lure him in that way ha ha.
Yeah very angry with pregnacare I am just going to get some folic acid from boots when I am out today and take that with the iron & vitamin D3 & B12 - that will be ok will it? X

@RMS0209 are you doing your blood test with the NHS? I just got my 21 day test back and unsurprisingly it said I didn't ovulate as the day I took blood was the day I started to spot!

So either clearblue screwed me (it was a new holder), and looking back on the day I should have ovulated in line with my usual LP, it started flashing smiley... OR I just didn't ovulate (maybe due to Covid or stress??).

Do you think I should get another private progesterone test for my next cycle, or ask the NHS for one, or see if the Ovusense can confirm whether I ovulate or not?

@RMS0209 gosh sounds like you manage to DTD lots! That’s fab! Good effort!

@Nyxxie your 1 DPO ahead of me! How are you feeling? Any symptoms? Sending you luck! And of course luck to everyone else as well!

@MO22 ahj that’s frustrating! So ovusense should let you know 4-5 days after ovulation and maybe you could ask the first time if you could have bloods when it’s looking like ovusense is telling you you ovulated. needs to be a week after I think? I am thinking to do this next month, as I had random day bloods, but not post ovulation, so I’d like my bloods to confirm what my ovusense is saying!

Btw to anyone wondering about the Mira, I wouldn't bother. Really expensive, temperamental, slow and super faulty. The progesterone sticks don't work at all. I used it one month then moved to the CB monitor which I liked, but now just DTD every other day which my doc recommended. Finding it much less stressful - OPK sticks were driving me mad!
