Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@RMS0209 I bought 'natures aid' 100mg B6 tablets. Didn't do a whole lot of research into it I just went with Amazon recommended! I am CD2 today (wooo!)

@MrsGrealish does he want to speak to my OH to get him to agree to the same? you got this woo hoo!

@RMS0209 yay cycle buddies! We seem to be in a very similar position, I'm just a cycle behind you I think (3rd cycle TTC)

@MrsGrealish good luck! I don't think my OH and I would cope with every 2 days, that's one of the reasons I use OPKs.. so we can save our energy for when it counts the most 🤣

@Nyxxie thank you! I'm kinda worried he'll run out of steam. I'll be doing OPKs too because I have them already and why not..be prepared for a flurry of OPKs next week from me

be ready for my melt downs come CD12/13 when my OPK's are near enough 0 and I think I'm not ovulating... not making that mistake again! Becuase they were so low it made me sad and wasn't DTDing then on the monday morning they peaked I was VERY frustrated.

Yeah Nyxxie just a cycle behind.. hopefully 3 & 4 are our lucky numbers! What day do you normally peak? I've varied from...CD14,18,16... Grr

@RMS0209 very similar to what I take, I'm going to order some B6 and vitamin C tomorrow, like @Nyxxie I always go for the Amazon recommends. I read that the Coq10 helps with the health of your eggs and sperm too! I'm encouraging DH to take them too!

Does anyones OH take any vitamins? Agree with the thread for them too 😂

@Rhianne18 I've made OH start Vitamin D and Q10 and I've ordered wild health vitamins (fertility food) for both of us which have still not arrived yet😕 hopefully tomorrow

hey all, hope it's okay for me to join in as well!!

i had my coil out in january, so this will be our third cycle trying for baby #1. the last couple cycles we've been super laid back thinking it would happen so easily, but this cycle i'm determined to be more proactive. for a lot of reasons, it would be amazing to conceive this month, so i'm adding in OPKs to really confirm ovulation and target it.

i'm due for ovulation around the 17th or so, so i'll sneak in with a test right before the end of the month.

so excited to join in with you all, fingers crossed for all the april BFPs!

@Rhianne18 that's great, Hopefully they give us some luck this cycle.

My OH takes the well man conception, he takes vitamin D and macca root... might skip some of the COQ10 into his vitamin box 😅

@MrsUSAinUK welcome! don't worry I think we all thought it was going to be easy... how wrong we were! What OPK's are you using?
My apps have updated to around 13th/14th for me ovulating so enjoying this week of AF (if that's possible) before trying to dance every 2 days from mid next week. X

@RMS0209 I have had my peak on CD15 both cycles, but then my LP was only 8 days cycle 1 and then 9 days last cycle 😔

@Rhianne18 my OH does have his own vitamins to take, I can't remember which ones we got him, but he rarely remembers to take them 🙈

@Rhianne18 well done with the vitamins!! The only thing I will say is be careful with taking individual ones, as a lot of them are already covered in the combined ones like Pregnacare/seven seas etc - for example I think Vit D, B12, C and B6 are all in the Pregnacare ones from memory! And it's important to not overload too much as the body then struggles to process it. So much to think about but it may cut down your tablet taking!!

My OH takes Holland & Barrett Ultra Man as it covers all the general vits he needs (his diet isn't the best!!) plus important ones for TTC like magnesium, zinc, selenium etc.

@MrsGrealish hahaha I think if all the OH's had a thread they'd be discussing very different things to us 😅😅 good luck for your fertile week!

@RMS0209 my app has put me as 15th for ovulating, not sure if this is accurate as I don't have a clue how long my cycle will be so will be starting the OPK's in a week or so!

@Rhianne18 sorry if I sounded like a 'mum' there haha, I have a lot of tablets to take for existing health problems and the doctors are constantly warning me of not overdoing it (or not underdoing it) with the vitamins 😅

@Nyxxie well sending luck that these B6 vitamins give a longer LP then a BFP! ❤️

@alwaysseeingstars great so you will just be a day or 2 behind me then, I don't trust the app's 100% but it's nice to have a "rough" idea I think.

Welcome @MrsUSAinUK good luck with the OPKs this month. I use the purple CB ones and find them quite accurate. Sending you lots of luck for this month.

@alwaysseeingstars It's okay, grateful for the heads up. Don't want to be overloading unnecessarily. Think I'm going to get DH some vitamins, he takes D3 so maybe a men's conception tablet will be good to add in there.

@RMS0209 good idea, it'd be good to know what the recommended doses are too so we know we're getting enough/not having too much. New cosy socks and hot water bottle sounds like a great treat, I'm always cold and live in fluffy socks!

@RMS0209: I got the easy@home opk/hcg combo kit off amazon and downloaded the premom app to use with them. anyone have experience with these?! hoping they'll be reliable (and show i'm ovulating!!)

@Rhianne18 thanks so much for the luck and right back at you! if i don't get on with these easy@home ones, i'll have to look up the purple ones. part of me is immediately tempted to do both each day and see if they agree lol

So I've just had some mild cramping and light bleeding has started on CD23 (I usually have a regular 27 day cycle). Everything I'm reading says that a short cycle is bad news about my fertility if this is AF so feeling gutted (I'm 40). I guess there's a slim hope this is an implantation bleed - I think I ovulated on CD11 this cycle. If this is AF and I'm now having a short cycle with early OV what would your next steps be considering my age? GP? Thanks in advance.

ok so i bought the CB purple kit too!!! we will see what's what this month! so excited.

@Tigergirl37 hopefully it's implantation rather than AF? If it's not I would say it can't hurt to mention to your Dr that you're TTC - they may say they can't do anything until you've been trying for 6 months but the earlier you get it on record may help - and you never know, they may do some light tests for you? Hopefully you don't need it though and it's IB!

@Rhianne18 @MrsUSAinUK I also use the CB purple ones - I was given a pack by my friend who didn't need them (lucky lady got pregnant on month 2!) and I like the simplicity of them, although they are pretty expensive! Hopefully won't need to keep doing them for months on end, if so I may have to switch to the cheaper ones haha!

@Rhianne18 I am a chemist and still pretty clueless with this. Everyone should be taking vitamins D supplements regardless of age or fertility

A clear blue note.... I tried the pink ovulation tests last month TERRIBLE. Stick with purple so matter how much the flashy faces annoy you!
