Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@Rhianne18 sorry just saw your reply!

That is great! alot cheaper than I thought it would be.
I had phoned the fertility clinc here before just for advice and was told i'd need to get referred and tests at the doctors (which they wont do) I will maybe investigate again and see.
£580 is such a good price, especially to be calm. x

Defo @RMS0209 if you can face it dance away. Exactly like me..I peaked too early so only really had 3 fertile days. So annoying 😕

Rhianne18 · 08/04/2022 11:06

@RMS0209 is it different rules because you're in Scotland? I went directly to the clinic and no questions were asked. Have a look around, maybe it's different rules at different clinics. Well worth the money, I feel so chilled out about it all now and I've been nothing but stressing before now. Fingers crossed for you this month, hopefully you've caught it in time!

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 11:08

We DTD day 10,11 and 13. Purple method would not have worked 😏 and the old swimmers left day 9. It all happened too quickly

RMS0209 · 08/04/2022 11:10

@MrsGrealish so bloody annoying! CD16 last month and looking like CD11/CD12 this month. Sad

@Rhianne18 I'm not sure at all? We only have one clinic in our city but I have a phone app with the DR next week anyway so i'll maybe drop it into convo :)

Thank you x

@RMS0209 Good luck with your phone call, hopefully you get somewhere.

pocketbunny · 08/04/2022 11:34

@RMS0209 Does it matter that some dripped out? I read that because there's so many sperm enough have already been shot out at great speeds and whatever you do from there on out doesn't matter. I know that's not at all scientific sounding but I definitely read something along those lines!

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 11:37

@RMS0209 also test with the cheapies mid afternoon. They don't work that well with fmu xx

RMS0209 · 08/04/2022 11:41

@Rhianne18 it's the 15th if I remember rightly so I'll be sure to let you know.

@pocketbunny I have 0 idea, thats made me a bit more zen... dont know what's got into OH recently just think its alot of pressure for him... its alot for me tooooo!

@MrsGrealish ok ive got 2 more with me at work, ill be home at 4.30ish anyway, i've drank a pint of water this morning though eee! wasnt fmu either was 2nd morning at like 10amish x

babyjellyfish · 08/04/2022 12:27

@MrsGrealish

More blood tests and ultrasound this morning. My estrogen is still low, despite the flashing smiley, and my follicles and endometrium haven't grown at all since Monday!

What is going on?

Sad
MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 12:43

@babyjellyfish when can you see the doctor? Or did he do the ultrasound?

babyjellyfish · 08/04/2022 12:48

He didn't do the ultrasound, I went to a different place because he isn't working today.

I'm not sure whether he's on holiday now or whether he's back next week but I've emailed him to see what he wants me to do next.

MrsGrealish · 08/04/2022 13:15

@babyjellyfish well he'll have to give you some answers regarding the trigger shot.. he might be hot but he needs to check his emails

Maybe not a career change for me after all. I'm confused now too. How many flashing smileys faces have you had?

babyjellyfish · 08/04/2022 13:20

Two flashing smiley faces which tell a very different story to my blood test results.

Sad

Maybe I'll keep getting blood tests until my estrogen levels rise and then see about another ultrasound next week.

Longbin · 08/04/2022 15:03

My most recent results are back and showing that I have no issues with my fertility yet again.

I’ve been booked in for a laparoscopy soon as the consultant believes I will never conceive without the cause being found or through IVF.

Has anyone had this done before?

RMS0209 · 08/04/2022 15:28

@babyjellyfish sorry to hear about your results. what is the next plan?

@Longbin hi! how strange, i unfortunately haven't had anything like that but hopefully somebody else can help you x

Hi all.

I'm hear after a MMC in January and this is our first time trying again.
I have a beautiful 2.5 year old little boy.
I'm terrified trying this time, 9 days until I can test and I'm scared for the result ether way at this point.
Thought I'd join for some support!

pocketbunny · 08/04/2022 20:33

@izzyroo92 Welcome! Will have my fingers crossed that this will be your month!

@longbin I know people who have had laparascopies for endometriosis and they swear by them as that is how they can treat it. The idea scares me but I know people recover quickly and if yours is just investigative, it should go super smoothly xx

MrsUSAinUK · 09/04/2022 00:28

Following your leads and saying bye bye to old swimmers today! The game is ON!!

Rhianne18 · 09/04/2022 08:06

@Longbin I've never had that done before but sending you lots of luck and hope that it give you the answers!

@izzyroo92 so sorry to hear about your MC, I hope this month is your month x

babyjellyfish · 09/04/2022 13:22

@RMS0209 @MrsGrealish My doctor has told me to get another blood test and ultrasound on Monday morning and see if anything is happening.

If not he's suggested doing a round of stims but I'm not sure whether that is compatible with breastfeeding so fingers crossed my ovaries wake up a bit over the next 48 hours.

Currently making my son's first birthday cake!

MrsGrealish · 09/04/2022 13:40

@babyjellyfish still flashy clearblue? Ahh bless him! 💙 Good for you making it yourself I'm a terrible cook!

MrsGrealish · 09/04/2022 13:42

@RMS0209 how are your OPKs looking?
