Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

May April be the months of lots of BFP's 🌟.x

@RMS0209 robitussin basically does nothing for a chesty cough but glad it has found another use!

@babyjellyfish I'm on blood thinners and grapefruit juice is a definite no go. It must have such an affect on the body because it interacts with a lot but if you can take it drink it by the gallon 😊

@Rhianne18 we only managed twice over the fertile period or three times if tonight counts (don't think it does very low OPK) fx one of the swimmers make it xx

Heyyy hope it's ok to post, period was due today and I took this test tonight, it's a freedom strip, has anyone has a false positive with this? Don't want it to be too good to be true x

@em123456789 yes I'd say that's a clear positive and it will be blazing pink on a FRER xx

@RMS0209 dancing now for fun😊 but I'll know for definite tomorrow if I'm in the TWW. Waiting for a second low OPK reading then that's me!

Wee bit annoyed I didn't start sooner if it is low. Thought I played my trump card with the old swimmers for fertile window to only to last 3 days🙄 I had him on a promise all week 😏

Do you insert the ovusense all night? Do you feel it? I'm so intrigued by this!

@em123456789 I hate those wee tiny tests. Mine didn't show positive till I was 5 weeks with DD. If u do an early response one it'll be so clear xx

A very quick fertile window but the best days were caught... think that way

Yeah Ovusense is all night, had some operator error trying to sync it to my phone but it's done, just washed it and ... inserted it's in, can't feel it! Which is great I wondered if it would be uncomfortable but it's great doesn't feel like anything. Cut off water about 7.30 so I don't end up needing to pee during the night, I'm intrigued with how the data will look tomorrow when I download it. I'll be sure to share it with you though x
didn't even know you got things like this until the crazy TTC brain took over!!

@RMS0209 CD10,11 and 13 mind CD10 was not that much fun. DD tested positive for covid, had to pick DS up from uni in the middle of a meltdown and other DS backed the car into a lamppost at 3am. He's fine thank god, car is not😩
Did the best I could I think!

What's a FRER?

Good morning all. Currently going through fertility tests. OH is fine. I had my second telephone consultation yesterday. Bloods came back on low side so I will be starting a course of clomid next month. Has anyone had success with this medication please?

@pocketbunny it's a first response early pregnancy test. They pick up HCG at levels as low as 7 I think. But recently they have had indent lines.. generally the go to test for early testing just beware of the grey indent !

Well...night one complete, it's fine I like it I can't feel anything and forgot it was in, took it out at 6am when I woke up put my temp to 36.30 this morning, looking forward to using it again tonight.

Morning all! Day 4 of flashing smile today, you may notice me starting to get a bit fed up of it over the next few days haha!

@RMS0209 that's really interesting that you can't really feel it, I worried it would be a bit uncomfortable! Good luck with the SMEP, we have so much going on there's no way we could commit to that sadly! We're lucky if we get a cuddle before falling asleep these days 😂

@MrsGrealish oh my gosh you really have had a stressful one 😩 but fingers crossed for you now, sounds like you managed to DTD plenty regardless! I also can't have grapefruit juice cos of meds, very annoying as I could do with the help on the estrogen it seems!

@Rhianne18 it only takes one time, as I found out last cycle!! We literally only DTD on the day of the peak, that's all.

@Borolass84 sorry I can't help, but I'm sure there was someone on this thread who has used Clomid?

@alwaysseeingstars thank you! Have spend all morning on Google and all I can see is false positives about these tests 🙈 need to get a frer asap but scared for a negative result

@alwaysseeingstars can I be nosey and ask you about your BD schedule with flashy smileys? I got my first flashy yesterday and we DTD this morning, and then as per the purple method (I think??) was going to do every other day, so Friday and Sunday... Do we think that's enough if I'm due to ovulate sat?

@MO22 of course, although each cycle has been different which hasn't helped! Last cycle I had 9 days of flashing. This cycle we DTD day 1 of flashing, today (day 4), will try every other day until I get the static but I highly doubt it'll happen! But will definitely try again in 2 days and on the static day. I'd say your plan is great, getting the day before O definitely worked for me! Although if possible I'd probably suggest Sat instead of Sun? In my mind it's better to have the swimmers ready for the egg, but others do say the day after O is good too in case of late O...

it's a nice "smooth" material and comfortable like I say I couldn't feel it/forgot it was in. Definitely a good buy. Hoping the next few days I get a fertile few days heads up.
Haha I have a lot going on too but told OH we need to make a plan for this month so I can feel like we "did it all!" Might make me feel less deflated!

@RMS0209 absolutely, at least then in the TWW you know you've done everything you can! Unfortunately my DH would be very happy if I got pregnant now, in an ideal world I think he'd rather wait a few months - but in my head we're already getting on a bit (I'm 33 and he's 37) so I'd rather try hard for it now! TBH I don't think he'll ever be 100% ready so why wait 😂

Exactly this! If you know you've done all you could rather than 4DPO thinking darn wish I did XYZ then beating yourself up the rest of the month for it.
Would or wouldn't be? Sorry.. I read it twice and confused haha.
I agree why wait! Go for it. 33 is still young but I know what you mean as it gets harder. Trying to think what else to do for luck this month apart from baby dancing lots 😂 eating all my "fertile" foods too and hoping it helps x

Yeah I keep meaning to read up on what changes I should make to my diet, luckily I eat a lot of fruit and veg anyway - just need to cut down on the rubbish to lose a bit of weight 😂
