Hi!
Making a thread looking for some company/support
I'm currently going into cycle 4, trying to conceive baby 1.
Looking for others in similar situation.
Beginning to feel a bit deflated now, as I am sure many many others are too.
Trying some things different this cycle to hopefully get a BFP
•ordered an Ovusense core
•carrying on with my reflexology weekly
•Trying the SMEP method
•Hot water bottle after ovulation as I read someone else done on here
•carrying on with my supplements

Any other advice/recommendations/suggestions welcome

Strange! That cough syrup might be good to try if you wanted? I am thinking of taking it again it's not a bad taste but it's not calpol I used to love that

@RMS0209 oh gosh yes, used to love calpol! Probably not unfortunately, I have to be so bloomin careful with medications & supplements because of a variety of tablets I'm on! If you hear of any good natural ways to boost it please do let me know, I know Evening Primrose Oil & grapefruit juice are supposed to be good but again I can't have them :(

@Longbin because they are expensive and I'm not near a shop atm

@RSmamaa at 9 days post ovulation I had the really questionable unsure line so I left it and then had BFP 11 days post ovulation. Fingers crossed for you! It's still early doors

@RSmamaa I can't see anything I'm afraid but it is still early, if I were you I'd try get a FRER from Prime for tomorrow and test with FMU.

That's why I've got myself digital to test with when the time comes😂

I never trust myself with line eyes, I just don't have the skill but I have everything crossed @RSmamaa

Well I had my date with the dildo cam today and it looks like I will ovulate in the next week, so I've got blood tests tomorrow and Friday and another ultrasound on Friday so we can time my HCG shot right.

Starring to feel very real now!

@babyjellyfish fingers crossed 🤞can't argue with a dildo cam for ovulation. Where do you live it you don't mind me asking? Xx

I think I've ovulated already. Will DTD anyway tonight but OPK low today. Maybe that's why I'm in bad form. Ovulated too early and might release an immature egg. Off work till the weekend now so can keep up with thread a bit better x

I live in France, @MrsGrealish. Had terrible trouble the first time round with recurrent miscarriages but eventually found a fantastic doctor who wanted to try monitoring ovulation and triggering with Ovitrelle when the dominant follicle looked just right. I know that if left to my own devices I would have ovulated a few days later so my working theory is that I ovulate when my follicle is overmature and past its best, which is why I have miscarriages.

Anyway, maybe it is that, maybe it is something else, or maybe I just got lucky one time. We don't really know so we're just going to do what we did the time it worked and hope it works again! 🤞

I know from previous monitored cycles that your follicles don't always develop at the same speed every cycle, so maybe your egg was just ready a bit earlier this time?

@babyjellyfish ahh good luck 🤞 hopefully it works as well this time. That's an interesting theory I've heard a lot of good things about the trigger shot. Early pregnancy testing must be a nightmare though xx

Well I will wait and see if my OPK stays low tomorrow and then into the dreaded TWW. Be warned I lose my mind slightly in these 2 weeks 🤣🤪

Yes, I am not supposed to do pregnancy tests, but wait two weeks and then go for a blood test.

Of course I still do cheapies every day trying to work out whether the line is getting lighter or darker.

I am not looking forward to losing my mind again this time.

@babyjellyfish a bit like myself convincing myself the scratch on the iPhone is a line and staring at it for hours. Then repeating the process the next day😂

Digital this time... (I say with only 2 digital and hundreds of easy@home pregnancy tests in my drawer)

The Easy@Home ones are the best.

I once got a line on one of those when my HCG was only 11!

@RSmamaa I can see a shadow on one of your tests but still super early to tell. Hope tomorrow brings you a nice pink line!!

@MrsGrealish I ovulated today or late yesterday I reckon so cd 12/13. A little early but I’m not worried! Cycles vary alllll the time with women and it’s all completely normal variation. I’ll also be in the TTW so we can go insane together 😬😅

Right I have PROMISED myself I won’t test before 10dpo. You’ve all got to keep me away from the early tests! I’ve always liked FRERs but they’ve had some awful evaps recently, I had a really convincing one in Feb. Nightmare

@Hello47 I also have a bit of a crush on my doctor, which also helps! 😂

My pre ovulation thing is to drink gallons grapefruit juice. I don't care about EWCM because the sperm always seem to find the egg, but I drink it to help thicken my endometrium.

@babyjellyfish I'm on meds which don't allow me grapefruit juice😕 oh a crush on the doctor certainly helps 😁

Good luck to everyone that is coming up to Ovulation!

We only managed to DTD once within the window, as DH had his appointment on Monday (couldn't change it) so I'm already counting myself out this month!

We have our follow up Thursday morning to get our results and speak to the Dr 🤞🏼

Oh yeah, grapefruit juice interacts with so many things, doesn't it?

I would say it's annoying but that's probably why it is believed to have an effect on estrogen. Annoying for anyone who can't have it though for sure.

A strange looking thing that's for sure, but optimsitc non the less.

I tried some of the cough syrup tonight Robitussin (red box) if anybody is thinking of trying. Going to take some every day until I get a peak.
