gather round, symptom-spotters! No AF yet but definitely feels imminent and CP low-ish and hard . I guess I will know either way as either AF or HPT's will arrive tomorrow at latest!!

NatalieJane · 27/01/2008 11:44

Awww how old is he?

Fingers crossed AF stays away.....

Teuch · 27/01/2008 11:49

2 a few weeks ago . He makes EVERYBODY broody [proud emoticon]

NatalieJane · 27/01/2008 11:55

Awwww Bless him

Have you got any names in mind? We really need a rolling eyes emoticon!

Teuch · 27/01/2008 13:15

no...we struggled to come up with DS's and, since he was early, it was the only one we had .

NatalieJane · 27/01/2008 14:23

LOL We'll have to get together and give you some idea's

How early was he?

Teuch · 27/01/2008 15:25

he was a month early and born fairly quickly...and that's when I was on the mainland! I'm now two ferry rides and a 3 hour drive from my chosen hospital .

NatalieJane · 27/01/2008 15:32

Bloody hell! Can you go for a homebirth?

I thought I was going to be cutting it fine, last labour was 2 hours from waters breaking with no prior warning and him being born. Our hospital is maximum of 30 minutes away but DH can be anywhere up to 4 hours hours away with work...!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 09:56

Morning all

Teuch, I was thinking about you last night, whilst I was in the bath !! Anyway, what a bloody doofus I am, I suppose the fact that the baby could come early again puts an end to any homebirth. Unless you can make it to term... Any sign of AF yet?

How was everyones weekend? Playing and BB2B I hope you enjoyed your galavanting How did the DIY go BB?

I think it is time for a brew

Teuch · 28/01/2008 10:02

Good morning! No AF yet but don't dare to hope...as I said, it ispossible that I OV'd a week later and that I'm not due til next weekend...

However, I have been feeling pants so I think even if HPT's don't arrive today, Health Visitor should be over so I mighht pop down to surgery with a sample and get her to test...

On the otehr hand, part of me likes this limbo period as you don't yet know that it is definitely all over for this month, or have the utter terror of finding out you have been successful!!

I had mmc before DS and I know a few of you have been down that road, so you know the feeling of wanting to be pregnant but being terrified of it!!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 10:11

Ooooooo, what's making you feel like pants?????????? Can't you ring the health visitor and get her to bring you a test? You may like the limbo, I dont!!!!

I do know what you been by being scared of being pregnant, DH and I have already said what will happen if... but I think we just need to think positively, or as positvely as we can. Although as soon as I hit the 6 week mark, I am willing to do anything to make sure I get an early scan, even if we have to go private, I was 14 weeks at my last scan, there is no way I am waiting for that long!

Teuch · 28/01/2008 11:32

I had early scan at 9weeks, private, last time and I would opt for that again if necessary.

However, my HV/MW says that she would probably refer me for early scan anyway, since I am so anxious about it...we'll see.

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 11:35

See I have the problem of my doctor not even knowing about the MC, so it will depend on if they actually believe that I had a MC, or if they think I am just trying it on for an early scan.

Having said that, I am not a 'regular' down the doctors and I didn't go all out for an early scan last time, so fingers crossed they will take my word for it.

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 11:46

Hey LG&T, feel free to join in

Actively trying in May Getting broodier by the minute!

What's your questions my lovely?

Oooo, add yourself to the list as well

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 11:47

Awwww, you can stay if you want

Teuch is TTC'ing now, so you won't be alone.

Diege · 28/01/2008 11:57

Hi girls , and welcome LARGEGINANDTONIC (can I call you 'gin'? . Hey GEORDIE, I am close-by, living in Warrington!! (diege has misty eyed vision of meet-ups in Trafford Centre, coo-ing over baby clothes...). Oh and where are you then NJ (nosey too!)
NJ, I should say they'll take your word for it re: mc. If not, I think you can self-refer to EPU anyway? (or, like you say, go private). TEUCH: ooh, v.exciting. I know EXACTLY what you mean about enjoying the 'limbo' period. Think I would wait too, although as NJ says, from a spectator's point of view limbo is NOT GOOD so get a sample to the HV pronto please .
Well, you can tell I'm at my desk. Have good excuse to MN as our e-mails are 'downn', not that it technically stops me working at all, but hey..
Feeling really bleughhh this morning (bad cold and headache)and (how sad is this) practicing at 'getting through' feeling rubbish in prep for pregnancy! I was sooo poorly with dd3 (hossy job) so couldn't do it if no.4 was the same, but am determined to KEEP ON GOING if bearable as I love this job so much, and they are such a great place to work for! COSMO: on that note, have been reading your threads about new jobs and ttc. This is exactly the reason why we are waiting. I was going to try last April, but then got new job in May (started Sept). My age is another consideration (38 in May) so all things considered, this April sounds a good compromise . TBH, if work gets pissed off now, they wouldn;t be any different 6 months later! Not that they will be I'm sure (to my face at least which is all that counts , but I do worry about what other people think (too much!).

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2008 12:00

Excellent >

I have those ovulation sticks from ebay (little paper stick, max wee level line and 2 lines to appear if positive) I had a period (1st after baby) on 10th jan. It lasted 8 days, i have been weeing on bloomin sticks evr since but all i get is a faint line appear each time after about 5 minutes. What does this mean? Am i ovulating? Is the Luteinizing Hormone just present in small amounts all the time?

I have not used these ovu sticks before can ya tell? HELP!

Also i feel a bit yuck but am only on day 19, whats going on? Ovulation imminent?

May is not so far away NJ!

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 12:02

LOL, you do not want to be with me in the Trafford Centre, I spend 6 hours walking around looking, then an hour going back round buying DH HATES it, so much so that now when I say I'm going over there he takes the kids to his mums so he doesn't have to go, and I get the day to myself

We are in Accrington, so not too far

Sorry about your cold Diege, know how you feel, I am just on the last day or so of mine, I can breath through my nose now, but if I breath too deeply I end up coughing like a 60-a-day smoker.

Diege · 28/01/2008 12:03

Mmm muffins, but could we have choc chip or blueberry please? . Oh those OV stick things never worked for me I must say. The month I got pregnant I didn't ovulate according to them (and I tested from day 6 to 21, with BFP on the 29th). So are you trying to baby 2?

NatalieJane · 28/01/2008 12:04

Sorry LG&T x posts.

I don't know a thing about the OV tests, never used them before. Feeling a bit yuck could be OV, have you checked your CM? I always go by that.

No, it is only 3 months and 3 days away..... LOL
