@MrsRosaline ok well that's good to know. I guess sometimes things just don't happen the way they should. It is such a complicated scientific process and if one tiny thing is off, it won't work. I do hope everything is ok with DH sperm and it's just really unlucky that there's been two chemicals. My DH always said that we can do the hardest part which is to get the egg to meet the sperm so anything after that the medical world can make it happen. I know it prob doesn't bring you much comfort but having known a few friends who have unexplained infertility I do think that's true! X

@MrsRosaline ubiquinol x just got it from Amazon xx

MrsRosaline · 30/01/2022 12:53

Yeah DH did say "Well at least the sperm are getting there" @hoola23. No idea but I'm now going to take a multivitamin, vegan omega 3 and I managed to find a vegan ubiquinol @newtolineofduty so we'll do that for a few months. Won't be trying again until April. But please keep in touch with me... it's been so valuable knowing you are here to talk with.

newtolineofduty · 30/01/2022 13:36

@MrsRosaline that's great. Supposedly it takes 90 days to make a difference as that's how long the egg takes to mature but it's a powerful antioxidant that gives the egg extra energy or something! Deffo worth a try I'd say x

hoola23 · 03/02/2022 11:21

Had my 12 week scan today and they put me at 13+1 I really wanted to find the nub in the picture to take a guess at the sex but I cannot see one!! Any guesses?

@newtolineofduty thanks! I did think that but it looked so long to me! 🤣 also the one below looks like it's a boy nub! So confused, think the pics are a bit rubbish!

Hi all! How's everyone doing? We had our first ever scan on Monday. They put me at bang on 12 weeks, which is pretty much what I thought I was.

Sickness has completely gone, only time I now feel grim is if I haven't eaten in a few hours. Haven't got a clue what we're having, just going to have to wait (we'll deffo find out!)

Is anyone else just sick of the cold winter nights?! I need some summer sun!!! Xx

@CShandy01 congrats! Look at that little button nose! X

hoola23 · 08/02/2022 11:33

@CShandy01 oh looks so cute!! Mine looks like a alien still 🤣

Hope everyone is ok- sad to say my sickness is on and off but more on than off recently. So upset about that, I thought I was getting to a good point! It also hasn't helped that DSC have caught a bug from their cousin so they've been throwing up constantly, I'm throwing up upstairs and I came down and even the bloody cat had thrown up. So I had a cry 🤣 pregnancy has taught me that I'm a pretty weak person!

Off to the coast this evening to see my dad and will be telling him the news. Just waiting for my blood tests to come back before we tell anyone else now. I'm so impatient! Been 3 days now!

Xx

Hi @MrsRosaline @newtolineofduty back on here again. After an extended break we have decided to have another go. Going to have to catch up with where everyone up to! I'm 4/5 day DPO now x

newtolineofduty · 09/02/2022 16:21

@LittleDoveLove hello again! So lovely to hear from you! How are you feeling about trying again? Xx

MrsRosaline · 09/02/2022 17:54

Congratulations on the scans everyone. That was always the best feeling to see the little bean on the screen!

Hey @LittleDoveLove. So nice to have you back. I echo @newtolineofduty's question. How are you doing? Maybe you can see below I had another loss... so two chemical pregnancies. I'm taking a few months off to work on eating healthy and supplementing and then I'll be trying again.

newtolineofduty · 09/02/2022 18:08

@MrsRosaline that sounds like a great plan x how are you feeling about it? X

MrsRosaline · 09/02/2022 18:21

Yeah I'm feeling ok @newtolineofduty. I'd been emotionally eating since the miscarriage in September and just generally running myself down. I've been feeling exhausted and depleted and I just need a break. I've started taking the wild nutrition fertility supplements, as well as the ubiquinol and my energy levels are up. I've also been going to the gym before work like I used to. I'm OK with not trying this month as the due date would basically be my daughter's birthday, and actually it's a good time to take a break. I also had some reflexology which I think I might have regularly to see if it can help at all. @LittleDoveLove are you still having reflexology? Also looking into yoga. So hopefully in three months or so I'll be physically and mentally in a better place to try again.

newtolineofduty · 09/02/2022 18:49

Yes that all sounds great @MrsRosaline x it'll be great for you psychologically and physically to take that break xx

LittleDoveLove · 09/02/2022 22:22

@MrsRosaline @newtolineofduty ahh thank you ladies - glad I found the thread again! I'm so sorry to hear about your MCs @MrsRosaline. Give yourself some time.
I am feeling in a good head space again now thank you. We had a big break from it all. We had a lot of additional stress last time in addition to our little one having developmental delays so it all got a bit much. We've been working on us as a couple as we got engulfed by the stress and worry with our first child's delays. We have a good team now for them and feeling much better place for us. I'm glad we took the break. I have been taking the Ubinquol too and I am taking the Together Health pregnancy tablets.
Yes I am still having reflexology actually - mainly for stress/relaxation so I didn't time it around ovulation whilst not trying but will be doing that again going forward.
How are you both doing? X

newtolineofduty · 09/02/2022 22:35

@LittleDoveLove that sounds great. I also took ubiquinol! I'm good thank you-22 weeks pregnant with a little boy and it's going scarily fast!!!! He'll be here before we know it! X

Lj268 · 09/02/2022 22:45

I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 6 months after coming of the pill I had a 26 day cycle to the day and it’s just not happening

LittleDoveLove · 09/02/2022 23:00

Yay @newtolineofduty so happy for you! Bet you're enjoying shopping for them 😀 x

MrsRosaline · 10/02/2022 08:22

Ooh @newtolineofduty very jealous about all the baby shopping you must be doing!!

@LittleDoveLove glad to hear things have improved and I hope your little one is OK. I like the together health, I take their vegan omega 3!
How does it work with reflexology and ovulation? When is the best time to have it? I'm a bit confused about when in the cycle to have it - I'm very new to it. Like you also having it mainly for stress management but would like to time it right too! So any advice is greatly appreciated! Xx

newtolineofduty · 10/02/2022 08:36

@MrsRosaline I had mine afew days after ovulation-when I was hoping egg would be fertilising and implanting!!!!!

@LittleDoveLove I hope everything is ok with DD. Are things feeling a little easier? X

MrsRosaline · 10/02/2022 10:18

Ooh I didn't realise you had it too @newtolineofduty! How often is best to have it? I'm very new ☺️

newtolineofduty · 10/02/2022 10:38

@MrsRosaline I've just remembered I actually only had reflexology once, but after that I had acupuncture instead as the lady I saw (who did both) said acupuncture is much more effective in regards to fertility. I didn't really enjoy it though so only went a couple of times! X
