Hi*@MrsRosaline* I just had it a day or so before ovulation so I was more relaxed really as I know stress doesn't help. A friend had a colonic and acupuncture (she was doing ivf) she had a very low change of conception and recently had her baby. So you could all look in to them.
@newtolineofduty yes is DS but feeling much better, have accepted we are doing all that we can with lots of interventions to help and support development and he is making progress albeit much slower than his peers. He has a wonderful gentle nature. He must her being chilled out from his Dad as won't be me 😂

@MrsRosaline that's good to know you've also used Together Health. I hadn't heard of them until someone recommended but I read it starts will the egg and got a bit worried I wasn't absorbing synthetic folic acid so wanted a folate one (obviously not a stress head at all am I 😂) x

newtolineofduty · 10/02/2022 11:40

Aww that's great @LittleDoveLove x how old is he? Xx

LittleDoveLove · 10/02/2022 22:24

@newtolineofduty he is 2 🥰 x

MrsRosaline · 12/02/2022 07:54

So I'm a bit excited this morning because I had a peak on clearblue and I'm CD14. I'm not trying this month, but I'm excited because I never ovulate this early it's normally more like CD17. Maybe the reflexology worked!! @LittleDoveLove

We got some preliminary results back from the sperm analysis I sent DH for. Apparently he has "mild" reduced motility. I'm not sure how worried I should be. Clearly the sperm are getting where they need to go because the egg has been fertilised twice. Although I do think there is a link between poor quality and reduced motility. Although DH said he wasn't able to produce a huge sample because it felt "unnatural" and "weird" doing it into a pot 🤦🏻‍♀️

LittleDoveLove · 12/02/2022 21:04

That's great! 🤞 was the reflexology and will help ovulate earlier going forward! Mine are long cycles except for after my jabs I had 3 months of 28 days which was great! I ovulated late this month. I had a solid smiley around day 13 from nothing then thought it was strange so kept doing the sticks with my other test kit and then I got some flashy smileys and a then Peak smiley at Day 25.

Hope you're feeling more relaxed with the reflexology. I'm not sure on the analysis' although with it being mild that is positive it isn't a severe problem
X

Hi everyone! How are we all doing? Can't believe it's nearly the middle of February....where the hell is the time going? Mind you I cannot wait for the lighter nights and the warmer weather to kick in. I am sick to death of driving to work in the dark and coming back in the dark.

@MrsRosaline @LittleDoveLove I can totally get what you mean about being in the right head space and focusing on you. DH was ready for baby no.2 a lot earlier than me, but I wanted to be selfish for 6 more months and focus on my health and fitness. I lost a lot of weight, did the couch to 5k and felt bloody marvellous! DD is going through an horrific patch of sleeping so my previous enthusiasm for staying fit has now gone out the window. It's so hard finding time to yourself these days! But when you look after you everything else will follow 🙂🙂 xxx

MrsRosaline · 13/02/2022 07:33

@LittleDoveLove how strange! I guess you had a surge but didn't ovulate. I have heard of that happening! I would never have thought to keep testing once I got my static. I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday as the EWCM was insane: the most I've ever had. Sooo I'm not sure why this month everything was 'spot on' but I do hope it continues!!

@CShandy01 it will be Spring and Summer before you know it!

LittleDoveLove · 19/02/2022 08:27

Must be @MrsRosaline I've booked a session on Monday. I'm on CD40, my last surge seemed like ovulation with CM too but can't have been. Did test and not pregnant and back to flashy smileys again today! Think we are just gonna have a go every 2/3 days and do a test each week and see what happens 🤷‍♀️ xx

hoola23 · 23/02/2022 21:59

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is! Also @newtolineofduty MAFSA is back!! That's made me happy!!

16 weeks now, still throwing up but the nausea comes and goes daily so I find it more manageable. Currently living only off cold Granny Smith apples. It's a serious addiction; I'm going through 6-8 a day! I can not get enough of them! No idea what that means but it's been the case for around a month now 🤣

Hope everyone is doing well x

newtolineofduty · 23/02/2022 22:05

Hey @hoola23! Lovely to hear from you! Glad it's feeling more manageable! Wow 16 weeks eek! You could find out the gender now if you went private! Been watching MAFSA but a day behind! Reckon it's going to be a good one! X

CShandy01 · 23/02/2022 22:21

@hoola23 lovely to hear from you!! I'm 15+2 so not too far behind you 🙂 glad to hear the sickness has settled down, even if it's only just a little bit. I know how you feel about the fruit thing - I've been craving all types of fruit during this pregnancy and oddly enough, more recently I've been wanting fish. First pregnancy if I had even said the word fish I would be in the bathroom praying for the vomiting to end 😂😂

I've also noticed a lot of things with a second pregnancy that I never knew before...like with DD I genuinely didn't feel her move until about 22 weeks, when I got a huge kick. But when I had my gender scan and I saw her moving and felt the butterflies at the same time, I was like "oooooh so that's what that was! It wasn't wind!!!" So now I have noticed nugget no.2 moving about way earlier than with my first. That and everyone is way more chilled, even my midwife was like "unless something is up, I'll see you around week 28" 😂😂 xx

hoola23 · 23/02/2022 22:37

@newtolineofduty when are you due? Is it May? Yes I defo think this will be a good series. I love Anthony and siren so far, I hope they last!!
Totally still debating whether I find out the gender or not. I can't make up my mind!!!

@CShandy01 I draw the line at fish 🤣 but at least that nice and healthy! Yeah raspberries and Granny Smith apples are my staple. Maybe it's because their tart? I don't think I've felt any kicks yet. Sometimes I feel something but it really could be me just digesting all the bloody apples!
Have you found out your gender for this one?
I still have a strong feeling I've got a boy but no basis aside from gut! Xx

newtolineofduty · 23/02/2022 22:57

@hoola23 I jealous of your clean food cravings!!If I was the same I wouldn't have gained so much weight already! Really need to rein it in in the third trimester!! X

CShandy01 · 24/02/2022 09:15

@hoola23 we'll find out in the 20 week scan (booked for 22nd March). I wasn't really bothered but I think my husband desperately wants to know. Think he wants to prepare if it's going to be a house of "long haired generals" as he calls it 😂😂

@newtolineofduty I am absolutely terrified of getting too heavy in my 3rd trimester again. Last time I just piled on the weight and it was awful. My aim was to have zero gain until 20 weeks (I fluctuate between gaining a pound or two depending on my food so I'm happy with that). Just with now having a toddler at home when I give birth, I'll need to be way more active 😩 xxx

newtolineofduty · 24/02/2022 09:26

@CShandy01 does that mean you've not gained any weight yet!? You've done amazing! I've really struggled with exercise this time so my plan is as of next week when I move to working from home I'm going to walk every day. I also just need to curb my evening snacking. My actual meals have been ok. I'm going to weigh myself each week as well to keep myself in check rather than avoiding the scales for a month then getting a big shock! I gained four stone last time but lost it very easily/quickly so I think that's one of the reasons I've maybe been abit too relaxed this time! It's going to be harder to exercise though next time so I am starting to panic abit! I'm only 25 weeks though so keep telling myself there's time to turn it around! X

CShandy01 · 24/02/2022 11:35

@newtolineofduty so with DD I was extremely sick for the first 15 weeks and by 20 weeks had only put on around 4-5lbs, then by 28 weeks it got to about a stone. And theeeeeeeen it just went mental 😂 I reckon I put on 3 stone in total, 2 of which was done very quickly in the space of about 3 months. My back was in agony and my joints hurt, so I'm determined not to get there again.

I was doing so well with my walking but I got diagnosed with chronic ligament pain so had to stop being so strict with my workouts. I've had 2 weeks off so when I get back to work on Monday I'm hitting the gym two times a week and doing at least 2 work outs again at home. I've found some really good pregnancy work outs that I did last time, so will pick those up again. I'm aiming to put no more than 24 pounds on in total this time round.....but we'll see what happens when I'm the size of a house 😂😂 xxx

newtolineofduty · 24/02/2022 11:38

@CShandy01 gosh yes I did at home workouts with DD! None of that this time! 😂

hoola23 · 24/02/2022 11:52

@newtolineofduty @CShandy01
I refuse to weigh myself and ask the midwife to hide it 🤣 it just triggers my MH! In the beginning, I was eating whatever I wanted and several take aways but I was throwing up loads! I'm not too bad now but I'm not tracking what I eat so defo over eating. I can still just about get into normal clothes but they were stretchy to start with 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
newtolineofduty · 24/02/2022 14:31

@hoola23 it's so hard isn't it! Even though you know any weight gain is totally understandable it still feels scary! I've been overweight in the past so gaining wait always feels tricky for me, not that I've been doing anything to help myself! I really feel it'll be different when I can work from home though-more time to exercise and I always eat less at home! X

hoola23 · 24/02/2022 15:00

@newtolineofduty I'm already overweight so any more weight really upsets me! If I have another one I wouldn't get pregnant until I was at a semi decent weight! Still trying to be good now but it's so hard!

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 24/02/2022 21:38

@hoola23 I also found cold Granny Smiths helped with the nausea. I think it's the sourness 🤷🏻‍♀️

hoola23 · 24/02/2022 22:05

@MrsRosaline really? I thought I was loosing it a bit! Glad I'm not alone on that one! Went to sainsburys to stock up this eve and only bought them. Did get some odd looks 🤣 x

OP posts:
MrsRosaline · 24/02/2022 22:06

Absolutely @hoola23 - I still love them now!

MrsRosaline · 04/03/2022 18:39

Hi everyone. How are you doing @hoola23 @newtolineofduty @CShandy01 @LittleDoveLove @Aims1991 @

newtolineofduty · 04/03/2022 18:54

Good thank you @MrsRosaline! Starting to get uncomfortable though! How are you?

I keep losing this thread for some reason! It's not saved on my list of 'I'm on' threads and when I search it just doesn't come up so if I ever go MIA that's why! Xxx
