@CycleGirl20 I had twinges on day 3 but they were nothing to right home about. My stomach has been that terrible though it was hard to tell much of anything.

I have a daft question. I need to dye my hair and always use a box dye from the shop. I read you shouldn't use dye that goes on the roots if pregnant. Can I dye my hair or not? 🤷‍♀️ I'm out Saturday night and I can't go like this!

@paintfairy I'll be 20 weeks on Saturday.
I was too scared to dye my hair in the first trimester just in case. I finally did it when I was 17 weeks and when I said I'd been waiting the hairdresser looked at my like I was nuts! I don't think there is a really clear view on it tbh

@paintfairy I've had friends terrified of dying their hair and others who always maintained their roots... No idea tbh!

@Juno231 I should have done it before. This is how much I wasn't banking on it working. 🤣

@paintfairy both really. I had to have another skin test done as your hair can react differently when you're pregnant. The scary articles talk about the chemicals getting into your blood stream, but I honestly don't know if there is any truth in that!
I'm feeling a bit of movement now but I think it will feel real when I have a proper bump and can feel him kicking. Right now I just look fat!

@paintfairy I'm 34 weeks now and had my hair dyed about 4 times (full head). Nothing happened to me 🤷🏼‍♀️
I just had another patch test done to check my skin hadn't changed.

@Theawkwardblonde i am currently sat with dye on my head. I'll let you know if it goes green. 🤣

@paintfairy I've been box dying my hair throughout - I read (and confirmed with a hairdresser friend) that the chemicals aren't high enough to cause a problem but best to use what you normally use and don't try anything new really... also if worried, keep the window open!

@paintfairy yep it will be fine, some pregnant women don't know they are pregnant till super late on and do all sorts of things they shouldn't so a bit of hair dye will be fine :D

Seems like everyone on this thread is pregnant.....hopefully me soon 🤣🤣🤣

@polejunkie @Annny27 two, just over 5 weeks until due date now. Still seems like it's not really happening if that makes sense 😂 although I'm definitely at waddling stage as baby has started to engage.
@Annny27 your time will come. I still can't believe after 18 months TTC that I'm sat here being kicked in my ribs 🤦🏼‍♀️
